Loooong movie. The entire thing is six hours long. Although there are shorter versions, I can't imagine them being as worthwhile. Slow at first, but so interesting to see a different part of history and to see the incredibly complex tactics used in battles. Each battle and skirmish and plot leads up to the grand finale and it makes you glad you saw all of it. Bonus points for having kickass female heroines. Yes, more than one.
