He started study on Prague's Film Unviversity in 1983 in section Documentary film. His famous school works are "Vesmirna odyssea II. (1986)" and "Ropaci (1988)". For the second of them, an ecolo- gical documentary short film he became in 1988 the award "Stu - dent Academy Award - Oscar" in USA.
