- važan za rodno pitanje, dosta rano za takav film, nema puno takvih filmova
- ženski western, daje sva bitna pitanja ženske problematike u patrijarhalnom kontekstu, nenametljivo
- živi s takvim idiotom od muža, sloboda, silovanja...
- školskost i štreberstvo je to što smeta?
- ženi koja je pisala to je bio prvi scenarij, odmah je išao u produkciju i odmah je dobila Oscara za originalni scenarij... trica!
- film koji dobro da postoji, to je temelj
- taj film ne bi toliko uspio da nije tog kraja, koji je najupečatljiviji dio filma, iako je direktna preslika "Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid" i "Galipolja", "freeze-frame" u trenutku odlaska glavnog junaka
- kraj je produkcijski razlog
