A highly prolific writer, Richard Matheson has left a legacy which can be enjoyed by old and new fans alike. Career highlights include: "The Twilight Zone," "Thriller," "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour," "Duel." For the big screen, Matheson's novel "I am Legend" has been adapted on three occasions and with varying success. Collections of his short stories have recently been reprinted, including those adapted for "The Twilight Zone" and "Night Gallery" shows, respectively.
