Actor, author, director and composer, educated at Indiana University and the Neighborhood Playhouse. His New York off-Broadway stage work included parts in "Career", "The Cretan Woman", and others. He conceived, directed and acted in "Spoon River Anthology". Joining ASCAP in 1963, he collaborated with Naomi Caryl Hirshhorn in the songs "Spoon River" and "I Am, I Am".
