Movies directed by women

by mafiagirl-21431 | created - 6 months ago | updated - 7 hours ago | Public

that i know of at least, and before you say "who cares about this" or "why does it matter if these movies were directed by a woman" and honestly, no one should truly care if a movie is directed by a woman or not but during my time in the internet in movie nerd spaces i've heard men say that women can't make movies time and time again, hell, the author of American Psycho has said this just because he didn't like the movie adaptation of his book so yes, celebrating women film makers is very much important. (even the bad ones lol)

Especially in a world where female directers are not only underestimated but underrepresented in the film industry too, this is not to undermine movies directed by men as there are so many great flims made by men but there are great films made by women too, i will be including documentaries but not short films.

By the way, i was actually surprised by how much of the movies i've watched, want to watch or just know about, are directed by men if i'm being honest.
