Actors I greatly enjoy and want to keep up to date with (if still active/alive). No particular order.

1. Jeffrey Falcon

Actor | Six-String Samurai

Jeffrey Falcon was born on January 1, 1962 in the USA. He is an actor and writer, known for Six-String Samurai (1998), Licence to Steal (1990) and Burning Ambition (1989).

I admit, I have only seen him in Six-String Samurai yet, but appearently it's the only movie in which he has a major role and goddamnit is it a great role executed amazingly well. Falcon as Buddy just has so much charisma. It's an incredibly interesting character and I wish (and hope) that Jeffrey will come back to do another movie someday.

2. Bill Murray

Actor | Lost in Translation

Bill Murray is an American actor, comedian, and writer. The fifth of nine children, he was born William James Murray in Wilmette, Illinois, to Lucille (Collins), a mailroom clerk, and Edward Joseph Murray II, who sold lumber. He is of Irish descent. To quote Zombieland "It's Bill Murray! Bill *beep* Murray!"

This guy is a *beep* legend.

3. Johnny Knoxville

Writer | Bad Grandpa

Johnny Knoxville was born on March 11, 1971 in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA. He has been married to Naomi Nelson since September 24, 2010. They have two ...

Yes, I'm a big Jackass fan, but that's not the only reason why I put this guy on this list. I really like his attempts at getting into acting. Grand Theft Parsons (co-starring Michael Shannon btw) is an overlooked gem and I loved Knoxville's character in "The Last Stand". Looking forward to his future works and hope he gets some major roles someday.

4. Michael Shannon

Actor | Take Shelter

Michael Corbett Shannon was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, the son of Geraldine Hine, a lawyer, and Donald Sutherlin Shannon, an accounting professor at DePaul University. His grandfather was entomologist Raymond Corbett Shannon.

This is one of these guys that just are really sympathetic to me. There is no particular reason, but I just like seeing him in movies. Especially his role in "Grand Theft Parsons" is one of my favorites of his performances.

5. Peter Dinklage

Actor | Game of Thrones

Peter Dinklage is an American actor. Since his breakout role in The Station Agent (2003), he has appeared in numerous films and theatre plays. Since 2011, Dinklage has portrayed Tyrion Lannister in the HBO series Game of Thrones (2011) . For this he won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a...

Such a cool guy and actually one of the biggest reasons why I started watching "Game of Thrones". But I still prefer seeing him in the movies than in this series.

6. Tak Sakaguchi

Actor | Versus

It seems that right at birth, Tak Sakaguchi was bound to be a force to be reckoned with. From an early age, he exhibited excellent motor skills and cat-like reflexes; putting these skills to use and excelling in martial arts such as Judo and boxing. Surprisingly, even with his stunning looks and ...

Since I saw "Battlefield Baseball" this guy totally stayed with me. His character in that movie portrayed one of the coolest characters I saw in movies to date. I started getting interested in the actor and watched other stuff. "Versus", "Death Trance", "Deadball"... They're all interesting if not greatly enjoyable. The only downside is, that it's sometimes hard to find his stuff.

7. Jackie Chan

Actor | Ngo si seoi

Hong Kong's cheeky, lovable and best-known film star, Jackie Chan endured many years of long, hard work and multiple injuries to establish international success after his start in Hong Kong's manic martial arts cinema industry.

Jackie was born Kong-sang Chan on April 7, 1954, on Hong Kong's famous ...

Well, ever since I was a kid I absolutely loved Jackie Chans work. Not all of his movies are masterpiece but goddamnit his inventive fighting choreographies are absolutely amazing. "Snake in the Eagle's Shadow" is probably my absolute favorite Jackie Chan movie and "Gorgeous" is an underrated one.

8. Arnold Schwarzenegger

Actor | Terminator 2: Judgment Day

With an almost unpronounceable surname and a thick Austrian accent, who would have ever believed that a brash, quick talking bodybuilder from a small European village would become one of Hollywood's biggest stars, marry into the prestigious Kennedy family, amass a fortune via shrewd investments and...

This guy, especially in his old age, has great charisma. I seriously kinda think I actually like old Schwarzenegger better than young Schwarzenegger. "Terminator 2" and "Predator" are 2 great classics and his more recent movie "Escape Plan" is quite nice too. His character in the last one is great.

9. Michael J. Fox

Actor | Back to the Future

Michael J. Fox was born Michael Andrew Fox on June 9, 1961 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, to Phyllis Fox (née Piper), a payroll clerk, and William Fox. His parents moved their 10-year-old son, his three sisters, Kelli Fox, Karen, and Jacki, and his brother Steven, to Vancouver, British Columbia, ...

I just love this guy. I seriously do.

The Back To The Future trilogy are great movie, part 1 and 2 probably being my absolute favorite movies of all time. Unfortunately he got Parkinson's disease and therefore rarely acts anymore. I was very pleasently surprised when he came back for acting with "The Michael J. Fox" show. I would watch anything he stars in. (Except for Teen Wolf...)

10. Jeff Goldblum

Actor | Jurassic Park

Jeffrey Lynn Goldblum was born October 22, 1952 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, one of four children of Shirley (Temeles), a radio broadcaster who also ran an appliances firm, and Harold L. Goldblum, a doctor. His father was of Russian Jewish descent and his mother was of Austrian Jewish ancestry.

11. Nicolas Cage

Actor | Face/Off

Nicolas Cage was born Nicolas Kim Coppola in Long Beach, California, the son of comparative literature professor August Coppola (whose brother is director Francis Ford Coppola) and dancer/choreographer Joy Vogelsang. He is of Italian (father) and Polish and German (mother) descent. Cage changed his...

Cage did a solid number of horrible movies, still I give him a another chance again and again. He is just an amazing human being. I actually really liked his performance in "Ghost Rider", even though that movie is not a masterpiece at all. He is also great in "Con Air" and "Gone in Sixty Seconds".

12. John Cusack

Actor | Grosse Pointe Blank

John Cusack is, like most of his characters, an unconventional hero. Wary of fame and repelled by formulaic Hollywood fare, he has built a successful career playing underdogs and odd men out--all the while avoiding the media spotlight. John was born in Evanston, Illinois, to an Irish-American ...

His father was of Irish and German ancestry, while his maternal grandparents were Jewish emigrants from Minsk, ...

Like Bill Murray, this guy is a *beep* legend. Saw him the very first time when I watched "Star Wars - A New Hope" as a kid. Next to Chewbacca Han Solo was easily the coolest character in the movies. I didn't like the Indiana Jones movies as a kid, but in my later days I grew to really like them as well. Always great to see this guy acting.

14. Jack Black

Actor | School of Rock

Thomas Jacob "Jack" Black was born on August 28, 1969 in Santa Monica, California and raised in Hermosa Beach, California to Judith Love Cohen & Thomas William Black, both satellite engineers. He is of Russian Jewish & British-German ancestry. Black attended the University of California at Los ...

I'm an absolute Jack Black fanboy. I love his band "Tenacious D" and "School of Rock", "Tenacious D - Pick of Destiny" and "King Kong" are all loved by me. I really wish he would do more roles like in Peter Jackson's "King Kong" though.

15. Macaulay Culkin

Actor | Home Alone

Macaulay Culkin, one of the most famous American child stars, was born on August 26, 1980 in New York City, New York, USA, as the third of seven children of his father Kit Culkin (a former stage and child actor and also Macaulay's former manager) and mother Patricia Brentrup. He is the brother of ...

Yea, he is rather inactive. But if he would like to star in another movie I would gladly support him. I never stopped liking this guy since I was a kid. Of course his best movie was "Home Alone" but I would love to see more of him.

16. Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Actor | Inception

Joseph Leonard Gordon-Levitt was born February 17, 1981 in Los Angeles, California, to Jane Gordon and Dennis Levitt. With "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz" being 2 absolute masterpieces I just love this guy. Another great role of his was in "How to Lose Friends & Alienate People". Always interesting to see, what he is going to do next.

21. Heath Ledger

Actor | Brokeback Mountain

When hunky, twenty-year-old heart-throb Heath Ledger first came to the attention of the public in 1999, it was all too easy to tag him as a "pretty boy" and an actor of little depth. He spent several years trying desperately to sway this image, but this was a double-edged sword. His work comprised ...

Yeah, "The Dark Knight" actually was the first movie I saw him in, at least I think it was. But I've seen more of his work since and I absolutely dig his acting. My favorite role of his, besides the Joker still is William Thatcher in "A Knight's Tale". Such a shame, that he passed away.

22. Leonardo DiCaprio

Actor | Inception

Few actors in the world have had a career quite as diverse as Leonardo DiCaprio's. DiCaprio has gone from relatively humble beginnings, as a supporting cast member of the sitcom Growing Pains (1985) and low budget horror movies, such as Critters 3 (1991), to a major teenage heartthrob in the 1990s,...

I have no idea how known he is outside of Germany, but he has done some brilliant comedies at the beginning of his career which are some of the very few German movies I actually enjoy. Doug E. Doug was born on January 7, 1970 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for Cool Runnings (1993), Eight Legged Freaks (2002) and Shark Tale (2004).

Holy sh*t this guy. What a crazy man. He hasn't done a lot in the movie business yet. He released 4 movies at the point of writing this from which I only seen 2 yet, which are "Big Man Japan" and "Symbol". Both of these are incredibly inventive and enjoyable. Especially "Symbol" is just unbelievable. I can't miss anything he does!
