As with most music films it's an immense bonus if one enjoys the music. The album 'The Wall' had Pink Floyd fans divided as it's more a Roger Waters album than band effort. Director A. Parker does a marvelous job transferring the music and the often difficult lyrical topics into an optical orgasm, excellently infused with the powerful animation of Gerald Scarfe. And a surprisingly convincing performance by Bob Geld in the lead role.
