Dune: Part Two hit theaters on March 1 and is making waves with audiences. It’s earning high praise from both critics and fans, holding strong with an impressive 94% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Social media is buzzing about the actors’ performances in the movie, too. Moviegoers loved seeing Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya back on screen as Paul Atreides and Chani, and Austin Butler as Feyd-Rautha.

British actress Florence Pugh made a name for herself in the movie industry with projects like Little Woman, Midsommar, Lady Macbeth, and, of course, one of her most famous movies, Oppenheimer. Her talent in acting is beyond compare, as she molds herself into her characters, becoming a part of the role she portrays. Last seen in the Christopher Nolan flick as Jean Tatlock, opposite Cillian Murphy, albeit in a short role, Pugh managed to wow audiences.

Florence Pugh is a household name because of her impressive acting career, but she is a woman of many talents. Pugh also has a passion for music. Her new movie A Good Person features songs she wrote and performed with her own voice.
Seeing Pugh belt out her own lyrics may surprise some viewers, but her interest in the medium goes back to her very first steps into the entertainment industry.

Florence Pugh has starred in some of the biggest movies of the last few years, from action blockbusters to historical dramas. She’s one of Hollywood’s hottest young stars, but just how much is the British actor worth?
Florence Pugh | Emma McIntyre/Getty Images Florence Pugh started acting when she was in school and scored breakout roles ‘Midsommar’ and ‘Little Women’
Pugh was born in the UK in 1996. She suffered from tracheomalacia, a condition where cartilage blocks the airway, as a child, which led to frequent hospitalizations. Finally, her family decided to move to Spain, hoping the warmer climate would improve her health. They moved back to England when Pugh was six years old.

Florence Pugh is one of the hottest young actors right now, earning commercial and critical acclaim for her work in Hollywood. However, she has plenty of other talents, including one very strange one.
Florence Pugh is a talented singer and even featured on a single with her brother, Toby Sebastian
Pugh is a talented actor, even earning an Oscar nomination for her role in Little Women. Her career almost took a very different turn, though. Pugh is an excellent singer and, before she became famous, would film videos of herself performing and post them on YouTube.
While she hasn’t decided to actively pursue a singing career yet, Pugh’s vocals have featured on a single. Her brother, known professionally as Toby Sebastian, released a song in 2021 called “Midnight,” with Pugh named as a featured artist.
“My mum asked ‘have you played her the song? Don’t you fancy some backing vocals from your sister?...

In the new film "A Good Person," Florence Pugh plays Allison, a young woman whose life is derailed when she is involved in a fatal car accident with her soon-to-be sister-in-law. She spirals into an addiction to oxycontin, and while in recovery, she begins to write songs. Pugh performs them herself in the film, something that, as it turns out, the actor has a history with.
"A Good Person" is written, directed, and produced by Zach Braff, who wrote the role specifically for Pugh, who stars alongside Morgan Freeman, Molly Shannon, Chinaza Uche, and Celeste O'Connor. /Film's own Ethan Anderton recently got a chance to speak to Braff about "A Good Person," and asked him whether or not he worked with Pugh on the lyrics and development of the original songs.

"This year we need a drink that wins it all!" How about just a nice espresso? An official trailer has debuted for an indie comedy called Coffee Wars, just a movie about baristas battling it out at a coffee competition. This hasn't premiered at any film festivals, as far as we know, and it will be out to watch in March on VOD. Coffee aficionado Jo is doing her best to keep her plant-based, independent, coffee shop afloat alongside her band of misfit employees. In a last-ditch effort to save her business, Jo and her team embark to battle it out as the underdogs competing in the World Barista Championship in order to finally have a chance to prove herself in the dairy-dominated world of coffee. The film stars Kate Nash as Jo, Toby Sebastian, Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Owain Arthur, Maria Conchita Alonso, Jordan Stephens, Maya Savin Miller, Jenny Rainsford, and Freddie Fox.

"I didn't come all this way just to sing." Gravitas Ventures has debuted the official trailer for I'll Find You, a WWII romantic thriller formerly known as Music, War and Love. This one originally premiered back in 2019 at numerous film festivals, and it's finally getting a VOD release this year. Inspired by true stories of Polish musicians from the 1930 & 1940s. Two young lovers, Robert (Leo Suter), a talented Catholic opera singer and Rachel (Adelaide Clemens), a Jewish violin virtuoso, dream of one day performing together at legendary Carnegie Hall. When they're torn apart by the 1939 Nazi invasion of Poland, Robert vows to find Rachel, no matter what, taking him all the way into Germany. Also starring Stellan Skarsgard, Stephen Dorff, Connie Nielsen, Ursula Parker, Sebastian Croft, and Toby Sebastian. This reminds me of so many other films set during WWII, including The Song of Names most recently also about a Polish violinist.

Horowitz and Kitsis, who most recently reteamed to reboot Steven Spielberg’s “Amazing Stories” at Apple TV+, are executive producers on the “Epic” pilot. Brigitte Hales, a veteran of “Once Upon a Time” and Hulu’s “11.22.63,” wrote the pilot script and is also an executive producer.

Vivendi is preparing to shut down Studio+, its app dedicated to mobile-native scripted series, barely two years after its launch in 2016.
A spokesperson for the company confirmed to Variety that the Studio+ app is about to be axed. Canal Plus Group will honor its existing deals with telco companies, including Telefonica in Latin America and Orange and Bouygues in France, by delivering Studio+ mobile series already in production. "Love is the wonderful symphony of every beating heart. It is the divine music that whispers to us..." Ambi Distribution has released a new official Us trailer for an Italian biopic film titled The Music of Silence, from filmmaker Michael Radford. The film tells the story of an Italian musician named Andrea Bocelli, who went blind when he was a child. Years later he became one of the most famous musicians, but not without trials and tribulations, of course. Toby Sebastian plays Bocelli, and the cast includes Antonio Banderas, Jordi Mollà, Alessandro Sperduti, Luisa Ranieri, and Antonella Attili; with a special appearance by the real Andrea Bocelli. This looks like a very Italian film, with lots of opera singing and beautiful scenes in the countryside. The cinematography here is particularly impressive, I just hope the rest of it is that good. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Michael Radford's The Music of Silence,...

2015 was a successful year regarding the quantity and quality of foreign productions shot in Poland. At the beginning of the year, Anne Fontaine (“Coco Before Chanel,” “Perfect Mothers”) filmed a French-Polish co-production “Agnus Dei” in Warmia, which premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival. The film features Polish and French actresses among others Lou de Laage, Agata Kulesza, Agata Buzek and Joanna Kulig.
In the spring, the crew of a Polish-German-French-Belgian co-production about the life of Maria Sklodowska-Curie (dir. Marie Noelle) spent 20 days on the set in among others Lodz, Leba and Krakow. The cast is international, and the film is made in French. The Polish Nobelist is portrayed by Karolina Gruszka (“Oxygen”).
The summer brought about increased activity of German producers. A Zdf TV show, “Ein Sommer in…” was filmed in two resort towns in the north-eastern Poland – Mikolajki and Mragowo. Ard and Tvp collaborated on the set of "Polizeiruf 110" ("Police Call 110"), which was filmed in July and August among others in a Polish border-town – Swiecko. Also in July began the shooting of a new part of detective TV series "Der Usedom-Krimi" filmed on both the Polish and German side of the Usedom island.
However, a true influx of foreign productions took place in the autumn. American-Polish thriller “Chronology” was filmed in Poznan. The cast includes William Baldwin (TV series "Gossip Girl," "Adrift in Manhattan") and Danny Trejo (“Machete,” “From Dusk till Dawn”).
The Goetz Palace in Brzesk, in Malopolska hosted filmmakers from India who for six days were shooting “Fitoor,” an Indian adaptation of Dickens's “Great Expectations.” The crew consisted of over 40 Indians and almost 80 Poles. Another crew from India – this time from the so-called Kollywood in the south of the country – spent twenty days on the set in various Polish locations (among others Zakopane, Walbrzych, Krakow, Leba). The film titled “24” features Surya, a Tamil superstar, in the main role.
The autumn months were also very intensive in Lodz with three simultaneous big film sets. Andrzej Wajda (“The Promised Land,” “Walesa. Man of Hope”) worked on his new film “Powidoki”; Opus Film, the producer of “Ida”, organized for an Israeli partner eleven-day shoot to a film set in 1970s – “Past Life,” directed by Avi Nesher; and American director Martha Coolidge (“The Prince and Me,” TV shows “Sex and the City,” “The Twilight Zone,” “Weeds”) filmed her project “Music, War and Love,” whose producer is among others Fred Roos known from such films as “Apocalypse Now,” “The Godfather” or “Lost in Translation.” The picture features Adelaide Clemens (“The Great Gatsby”), Connie Nielsen (“Gladiator”), Toby Sebastian (“Game of Thrones”) and Stellan Skarsgård (“Nymphomaniac”).
The end of the year was also very successful for Malopolska and Krakow. Two movies were filmed in the region – an American-British biography of Martin Luther commissioned by PBS with Padraic Delaney (“The Wind that Shakes the Barley,” “The Tudors”) in the main role; and a feature titled “True Crimes” starring two-time winner of a Golden Globe – Jim Carrey (“The Truman Show,” “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” “The Mask”) as the protagonist. The crew spent 32 days on the set in Krakow. The picture was directed by Greek Alexandros Avranas (“Miss Violence”), written by Jeremy Brock (“Brideshead Revisited,” “The Last King of Scotland”), and produced by Brett Ratner (“X-Men 3: the Last Stand,” TV series “Rush Hour”). Accompanying Jim Carrey were Charlotte Gainsbourg (“Nymphomaniac,” “Antichrist”); Marton Csokas (“The Lord of the Rings: the Return of the King,” “The Amazing Spider-Man 2”) and Polish actors Agata Kulesza (“Ida”) and Robert Wieckiewicz (“Walesa. Man of Hope”).
The first information about productions planned for 2016 has already been released. In January, Krakow will host the crew of French black comedy “Grand Froid,” Gérard Pautonnier's debut featuring Jean-Pierre Bacri (“The Taste of Others,” “Let It Rain”), Olivier Gourmet (“Rosetta,” “The Son”) and Arthur Dupond (“Bus Palladium”). The project won the first edition of the Krakow International Film Fund.

HBO’s Game of Thrones The Dance of Dragons TV Show Review. Game of Thrones: Season 5, Episode 9: The Dance of Dragons is the penultimate episode of season five. Instead of matching the visual spectacle of last week’s exceptional episode, The Dance of Dragon’s took viewers on a remarkable emotional journey that reached the exhilarating highs and soul crushing lows that Game of Thrones is famous for.
Game of Thrones is the only series on the air that could spend an episode dancing along the precipice of murdering a child and have viewers not even doubt that said child will meet a gruesome end. The Dance of Dragons provided another example of the tension and sense of dread a show can create when an audience accepts that no character is safe from death. As much as we all hoped that Shireen (Kerry Ingram) would escape Melisandre’s (Carice van Houton) sacrifice,...

The ninth episode of every season of "Game of Thrones" is the one people remember. The last four seasons gave us the fate of Ned Stark (Sean Bean), the Battle of the Blackwater, the Red Wedding, and the Battle of the Wall. For season five, the memorable action-packed episode was delivered early in the form of "Hardhome", but "The Dance of Dragons" features an ending that should find its way into that pantheon. Before that ending, the show has a bit of business to take care of to set up the finale. In Dorne, Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Prince Doran (Alexander Siddig) broker an unstable peace. Doran, again, recounts his horrendous experiences with war which serve to highlight why he is, seemingly, willing to do anything to prevent hostilities with King's Landing. He is even willing to let Myrcella (Nell Tiger Free) return with Jaime provided his son, Trystane (Toby Sebastian...

It’s rare to find a film as plagued by identity issues as Barely Lethal. The title suggests a mash-up of Kick-Ass and Clueless, the sort of movie that might be made by someone brought up on a steady (if odd) diet of Tarantino and Hughes. In execution, though, Barely Lethal turns out to be about as edgy as a Disney Channel Original Movie, from the obligatory encounters with cliques to sweeping declarations of young love.
In of itself, that wouldn’t have to be a problem – director Kyle Newman clearly knows high school comedies well, and his film is perfectly serviceable fare as far as that genre goes. But Barely Lethal tries to be more, and that’s where it falls flat. From lifelessly shot car chases and shoddily staged fistfights to a half-hearted attempt to satirize the very kind of movie it ends up becoming, the film misses...

Sometimes it pays to have friends with cable TV in the States. Underneath all the scandal and shock, Game Of Thrones season 5 is an exquisite exercise in pace and planning...
This review contains spoilers.
5.6 Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken
At certain points in a season, all the careful pacing in the world doesn't pay off and you get what I like to call a chess match episode. There's no checkmate, just a lot of pieces moving into place to power the rest of the season. The last two episodes of Game Of Thrones have felt like set-up work, both for good and for ill. Given that Game Of Thrones show gurus Benioff and Weiss know how to pace their season out to prevent slower episodes and to ensure something interesting happens in just about every episode, this is a good sort of chess game, with plenty of eye-catching things happening along the way to keep tongues wagging throughout the Seven Kingdoms.
For a relatively sedate episode,...

Update: Um, yeah it'll have us talking. Seven hells. Here's our full recap of Episode 6. These sickos just love torturing Sansa.
Sansa Stark is getting married -- again -- this weekend. It's never a nice day for a "Game of Thrones" wedding, especially one that involves the Boltons. Just ask Robb and Catelyn Stark. Sansa is currently engaged to Ramsay Snow Bolton and ... well, we still have hope that she can find a way out of it. A fan asked Entertainment Weekly for some GoT scoop and they dished on this Sunday, May 17's Season 5, Episode 6, "Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken":
This week's episode will see the return of one fan-favorite character. Is that enough of a fix? No? It's also Sansa and Ramsay's wedding, which will definitely have people talking. Check EW for two great interviews from James Hibberd after the episode."
Hmmm. Cross your fingers that we'll be talking...

It stretches from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues, to the vast and savage eastern lands, where a young queen raises an army. All the while, in the frozen north, an 800-foot wall of ice precariously protects the war-ravaged kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all play the 'Game of Thrones.' An original series based on George R.R. Martin's best-selling...
