Everett Grant has beef with Russian mobster Maxim Vasiliiv played by Oleg Prudius or if you’re a pro wrestling fan, Vladimir Kozlov. It seems Everett’s security company has been cutting into the Russian mob’s profits and they’re not happy about that. Since Phoenix is an action film, they decide to settle it with a fight to the death. That would be Everett’s death via a bullet to the head made to look like suicide.
WWE wrestler Natalie Eva Marie plays Everett’s daughter Fiona, Phoenix to her friends. She’s told of his death by General Shackleton. She knows he would never have killed himself and decides to put her hand-to-hand combat trainer’s skills to work finding answers.

Set in a bustling modern-day Middle Eastern city, the drama revolves around the case of a young boy whose increasingly strange behavior leads his mother to believe he is possessed.
UK actor Hall, whose credits include House of the Dragon, Halloween and Oppenheimer, plays a Western doctor who is consulted by the mother as she tries to get to the bottom of what is wrong with her son.
Hall stars alongside a mainly Emirati cast featuring model and actress Faten Ahmed as the mother, Noura Alabed (Wiladah), veteran actor Mari Al Halyan (On Borrowed Time) and newcomer Saud Alzarooni as well as Jordanian actor Mohannad Bin Huthail (Rashash).

Growing up in the 80s it was a special time for kids who loved cars. Series like Magnum Pi, Knight Rider, and The A-Team all had an iconic vehicle that was a centerpiece of the series and epitomized the spirit of the show. But perhaps none was as iconic and memorable as the car at the heart of this episode, The General Lee.
The orange painted muscle car was the chariot of Bo and Luke, the two modern day Robin Hoods Aka The Duke Boys. In this episode of Gone But Not Forgotten we’re going climb through the window and get behind the wheel of The General as we revisit The Dukes of Hazzard.

For most mere mortals, a chance to see or meet actor and NBA great Shaquille O’Neal is a dream come true. But to receive a closet of shoes from Shaq was heaven for one Michigan teen.
O’Neal’s daughter read how 14-year-old Eric Kilburn Jr. had outgrown his size 22 shoes and his family struggled to find the means for larger sizes. Larger sizes must be custom-made, which cost more than $1,000 a pair. Kilburn’s insurance wouldn’t cover the cost, so the family resorted to a GoFundMe campaign.
Then, O’Neal stepped in …
Shaq’s daughter shared the shoe story with him
O’Neal shared with Showbiz Cheat Sheet how he connected with the Kilburn family. “My daughter actually sent me that [article]. And it’s a nice story, but what got me was his mom, she’s very sad,” he said. “That was my mom’s story. I gotta step in.

“Get woke, go broke,” has become a rallying cry of the political right whenever they see a brand make the slightest effort to align itself with liberal or progressive values. It’s a meme that allows Maga country to believe that there is ongoing, massive backlash to products that acknowledge and celebrate marginalized communities. But the supposed boycotts never seem to be reflected in the bottom line.

If actor and NBA great Shaquille O’Neal looks like he’s aging in reverse, it’s likely because he’s given up the one thing he loves to eat the most – sandwiches. O’Neal dropped about 40 pounds and said he’s taking weight loss and health very seriously.
His renewed interest in health sparked when O’Neal had to undergo hip replacement surgery. Of course, he joked that he was having a Brazilian Butt Lift instead, but O’Neal took on a serious tone when he opened up to Showbiz Cheat Sheet about his health goals.
What is behind Shaquille O’Neal’s weight loss?
O’Neal said once he hit 400 pounds, he knew he had to do something. “I’ve been really reading up on anti-aging,” he told Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “I really don’t want to use the word fear, but I have to try to stay as young as I can.

Nick Moran and Lee ‘Six Million Dollar Man’ Majors are the star names in this UK thriller, but they are let down by inept action sequences and stilted banter
Cheap as undercooked chips, this British thriller about elderly ex-soldiers avenging a friend’s death belatedly cashes in on the 2010s trend for “geri-action” films, to borrow a term coined by Vulture’s Matt Patches. Though less slick, it resembles those American fisticuff- and gunfire-packed thrillers built around former big-name actors supplementing their pension schemes.
Directed by Daniel Zirilli, the film features Nick Moran as the low-profile protagonist, Burton, a former Sas man suffering from Ptsd. He gets scooped up on the street by an old acquaintance, American veteran Carver (former Six Million Dollar Man Lee Majors), who has a beef with some gangsters in his London neighbourhood who are trafficking women, selling drugs and, given the age of everyone here,...

Renegades, not to be confused with the 2017 action film of the same name, starts on a familiar enough note as retired Green Beret Major Carver getting on the wrong side of mob boss Goram. It seems Carver’s daughter Judy is a local politician and has been leading a clean up the streets campaign and making complaints about Goram’s activities. When Goram had his goons threaten her Carver got involved. And ends up beaten to death for his troubles.
When her father’s military buddies Burton, Peck, Woody, and Harris hear about it they know what needs to be done. These old soldiers are about to fight a new war on the streets of London.

"You gotta know your risk." "There was no risk until you came along." Paramount has revealed an official trailer for their mafia series Tulsa King, streaming this November on Paramount+. Not too much longer to wait now. It's created by two very talented writers: Terence Winter of HBO's "The Sopranos" & "Boardwalk Empire", plus Taylor Sheridan of "Yellowstone", "1883", and great movies like Sicario and Hell or High Water. The series stars Sylvester Stallone as "The General" – an Italian mobster who is faced with the startling task of reestablishing his Italian mafia family in Tulsa, Oklahoma after he gets out of prison. He slowly builds a new "crew" from a group of unlikely characters, to help him establish a new empire in this strange town. It also stars Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Max Casella, Domenick Lombardozzi, Vincent Piazza, Jay Will, A.C. Peterson, plus Garrett Hedlund. This trailer makes this series seem so cheesy,...

Sylvester Stallone is a mafia capo who has just been released from prison after 25 years in the new Paramount+ series "Tulsa King." The series, which marks Stallone's first time working in scripted TV, comes to us from — let me give you a sec to think about this — Taylor Sheridan. It's very likely that you already guessed. Sheridan must have stock in a coffee bean farm or energy drink factory because he obviously doesn't sleep. His shows on the streaming service include "Yellowstone," "Mayor of Kingstown," the recently completed "1883," and the upcoming "1923," "Lioness," "6666," "The Land Man," and "1883: The Bass Reeves Story."
"Tulsa King" has Stallone's character relocated from his New York roots to Tulsa, Oklahoma, after his prison release. Though he doesn't seem happy about the new assignment, he will not let that stand in the way of success.

In the riveting first teaser for the upcoming Paramount+ series “Tulsa King,” Sylvester Stallone channels Henry Hill in “Goodfellas” and Tommy Vercetti in “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City” — with a helping of “Get Carter” — as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, an aging mafioso ordered to set up shop in, you guessed it, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
“When I was 17, I wanted to be a gangster,” Manfredi narrates. “I married this life, and now, after keeping my mouth shut, I’m gonna see if it married me back.”
Did it? Seems unlikely. Fresh out of prison after a 25-year sentence, Manfredi is sent by his criminal bosses to move to Tulsa where, per the official logline, he realizes “that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind.” So instead, he carves out an empire of his own in the buckle of the Bible belt, with a new crew of his own as well.

"Someone has to deliver justice to these criminals!" Vertical Ent. has released an official trailer for an indie action film called Hollow Point, one of the latest from director Daniel Zirilli (who has already made a few other films since this first debuted). This originally premiered at The Netherlands and the UK a few years ago, but is only now finally getting a US release on VOD. Basically getting dumped into the bargain bin for obvious reasons. When his wife and daughter are senselessly murdered, a grieving man finds himself caught up in a war between a group of charismatic vigilantes and the crime that infests their city. Set mostly in Los Angeles. Oh so original. The film stars Luke Goss, Dilan Jay, Jay Mohr, JuJu Chan, Michael Paré, and Bill Duke. This just looks so awful, especially the dialogue and the action and everything else in here. Here's the...

I’ve been a big fan of actress Natalie Burn since her role in 2016’s Left to Die (aka Awaken). That film, which she also co-wrote, saw her take the lead role in a Most Dangerous Game-esque movie but be sidelined by the marketing materials who focused on the appearance of Vinnie Jones in the cast. And Acceleration does something very similar.
To the uninitiated Acceleration looks like yet another Dtv star-vehicle for Dolph Lundgren; hell, even the cast listing atop the DVD cover puts Sean Patrick Flanery, Lundgren and Chuck Liddell ahead of Burns. Tom Sizemore has taken to crowdfunding platform Indiegogo to raise funds for his passion project An Honest Thief, a noir-ish thriller that the Heat and Saving Private Ryan actor is putting together as a starring vehicle. It’s his first film as a producer and a step toward rebuilding his up-and-down career following a public relapse in January, but Sizemore says he has refocused his sights on sobriety and is optimistic. “I want to get back,” he said over the phone Wednesday. “I want to make something I look forward to.”

Sean Bean is set to star in Scorched Earth, a post-apocalyptic action film which 24’s Brad Turner will direct from a screenplay by Bobby Mort and Kevin Leeson. After the Earth suffered an environmental collapse and billions died, mankind has finally re-established a rudimentary society, with a new set of laws for the ravaged wastelands. Atticus Gage (Bean) is a bounty hunter who is very similar to the criminals he hunts. When Gage is presented with the bounty of a lifetime, he cannot resist, and goes off in search of the most wanted criminal in these badlands. This is the feature directing debut for Emmy winner Turner, who has over 200 TV episodes under his belt with series that include 24, for which he won an Emmy and was exec producer for the show’s last two seasons. The work of Edgar Allan Poe is notoriously dark, somber, and horrifying. So why not add some romance to sap things up a little bit. That's a great idea, right? Anyone? Hello? No, seriously, right? Um ...
According to The Hollywood Reporter the haunting tale of a man who murders an old man and then hides his body under his floorboards, only to be driven insane by the sound of his still-beating heart, has been adapted into an upcoming film starring Patrick John Flueger, Rose McGowan, and Peter Bogdanovich.
Flueger is playing the lead role, and joining him as the female lead is McGowan (Grindhouse, Scream, Jawbreaker, The Black Dahlia). A tale of romance has been added to Poe’s dark story for the film adaptation. Bogdanovich will play the one-eyed old man.

Locked Down
Stars: Tony Schiena, Vinnie Jones, Dwier Brown, Bai Ling, Kimbo Slice | Written and Directed by Daniel Zirilli
Another month, another straight to DVD action movie – this one’s another from the cast and crew of Circle of Pain, and like that film, it stars martial artist turned actor Tony Schiena as another hard-done-by guy forced into a situation not of his own making.
This time round Schiena plays Danny, a respected cop from a long-standing cop family, who is framed, set up, and sent to Blackwater Prison. Locked up with the very crooks he put away, Danny must prove his innocence and watch his back. But Blackwater is no ordinary prison, it’s home to Vinnie Jones’ Vargas – a big-time gangster who still runs his criminal empire from within the walls of the prison. A criminal empire which, like any good martial arts movie, includes underground prison fights!
