Los Angeles, July 21 (Ians) Hollywood star Johnny Depp’s fans can get their hands on his signed self-portrait, the creation of which helped him heal during a challenging five-year period of his life, with $200 from each painting sold going to a mental health charity.
The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’, 60, star came up with the idea for ‘Five’ in the studio of his close friend, social caricaturist Ralph Steadman in 2021, and it wasn’t until this year that he got the courage to share the artwork with the world, reports aceshowbiz.com.
He said in a press release, “It’s not the most comfortable thing doing a self-portrait. If the piece resonates with even just one person, this art has purpose.”
The $200 donation will go to Mental Health America, a leading community-based non-profit charity dedicated to the promotion of mental health, well-being and illness prevention. Johnny hailed the organisation as “a...

Johnny Depp has painted the emotions of recent years into a self-portrait and is offering the result for sale as a time-limited edition.
The actor began working on the piece, titled “Five,” around 2021 in the midst of an explosive dispute with his ex-wife, Amber Heard, which played out in courtrooms on both sides of the Atlantic.
“I think this is the most personal piece he’s ever done,” said Ian Weatherby-Blythe, managing director of Castle Fine Art, which is handling the sale of “Five.” The gallery also oversaw Depp’s sold-out debut art collection, the series of portraits “Friends & Heroes.”

"Oscillating between sensuality and complicity, that delicious tension inspired Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud to create a romantic, mischievous fragrance that becomes one with the skin.
"An ode to the iris pallida from Florence, its composition exalts the duality of a precious flower that symbolizes feminine seduction.

Beatty’s character, “the maiden,” is described in marketing collateral as a “suggestive feminine presence, febrile and sensual,” evoking negative stereotypes about Native American women.
Beatty wrote that she was hesitant to take on the role and felt conflicted during filming, “witnessing as a company blatantly disrespected indigenous culture.”

Damn, Johnny Depp! The sexy star appears in a new ad for Dior's "Sauvage" fragrance -- and he's never looked better. The commercial, which was directed by Jean Baptiste Mondino, definitely feels more like a mini-movie. The clip opens with the "Black Mass" star playing an electric guitar in a dimly-lit club before hitting the road to embark on a mysterious journey through the desert. "I gotta get out of here," Depp says as he vacates the city. "Which way? I don't know," he muses. "What am I looking for? Something I can't see," he says, just before stopping in the desert. "I can feel it." The actor's new campaign definitely feels reminiscent of Matthew McConaughey's ambiguous Lincoln commercials which first surfaced last year. Still, we don't mind seeing these A-listers on both the big and small screens! What do you think about Johnny's new commercial? Tell toofab in...

Give that editor a raise! Being the queen of glowing selfies and buck-naked Internet-breaking photo shoots makes Kim Kardashian the only legitimate choice to front Elle UK's "Confidence Issue." These photos may not #BreakTheInternet, but Kim Kardashian still looks pretty damn good! The brunette beauty graces the front of not one, but three Elle UK covers for the magazine’s Confidence Issue. Kim looks stunning in the photos -- shot by Jean Baptiste Mondino -- as she shows off a more conservative look than her most recent cover for Paper magazine. The first shot features the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star in a crop top and hot pants playfully eating a cupcake. The second shows the 34-year-old in a cinched white blouse with her signature dark hair flowing. And, on the third, Kim flaunts her famous curves in a tight dress with the caption "And God Created Kim." In the January issue, Elle boosts that Kim has "redefined our perception of body beautiful" while opening up about how she maintains her confidence, ignoring those pesky critics and hubby Kanye West.

Enjoy that cupcake, girl. You deserve it. Kim Kardashian is continuing to grace the covers of magazines, although this is a wee bit different than what we've seen recently. The brunette beauty (who is fully clothed) absolutely stuns in a black-and-white, Jean-Baptiste Mondino-shot cover photo for Elle U.K.'s January 2015 Confidence issue. Wearing a pair of black booty shorts, striped crop top and that gorgeous giant diamond ring, Kim K. nonchalantly flaunts her famous curves while seeming to direct all of her attention on licking that frosting off of her fingers (which is understandable, because that's the best part, duh). Kim Kardashian covers the January 2015 issue of Elle UK in an edition dubbed the "Confidence Issue." In the black and white photo shot by famed photographer Jean-Baptiste Mondino, Kim is licking frosting from a cupcake while wearing a crop top and high-waisted shorts - considerably more clothing than the last time she covered a magazine. Her now-infamous, Nsfw Paper magazine shoot set out to "break the Internet" earlier this month, and Kim explained her decision to go fully nude for the photos in a recent interview, saying, "That was something I knew I wanted to do to make myself feel confident." Kim's full interview and photo shoot appear in the January issue of Elle UK, on sale via newsstands and digitally Dec. 4, but in the meantime, check out all of her most ridiculous moments this year.

Rooney Mara is about as downtown as a person can be, so it makes perfect sense that Calvin Klein would tap the actress to front the campaign for its new urban-themed fragrance.
Women's Wear Daily reports that the scent, aptly titled Downtown, will be a "floral woody juice," which is precisely the mix of femininity and musky strength that we imagine Rooney would choose for herself. In the print ad for the perfume, the Vogue cover girl stares broodingly into photographer Jean-Baptiste Mondino's camera, sporting her trademark slick beauty look.
It goes without saying that this seems like the perfect pairing. Rooney's a regular at Calvin's runway shows and frequently steps out in the fashion house's designs (for better or for worse). It's also her first big beauty gig -- a very lucrative step for a celeb. Plus, the TV spots for Downtown were directed by David Fincher, director...

Have you noticed yourself fast-forwarding through Adam Levine's critiques on The Voice and waiting patiently for Christina Aguilera to speak? Have you noticed that's an absolutely insane scenario? Because I'm doing it too. And I'm scared.
Christina Aguilera has become the show's least sympathetic and/or sentimental panelist. She's thoroughly genuine, and even if she doesn't reach the caliber of my favorite 10 reality judges, she's exactly what The Voice needs: unflinching truth-telling. I hope she keeps it up in the weeks to come. Not just because it's entertaining (How about when she smacked Down her former Mousketeer buddy Tony Lucca?), but because it heightens the show's stakes. Fear this dirrty, caterwauling diva, contestants.
The Voice's second week of live rounds proved to be a mixed bag ranging from towering renditions of rock classics to meek attempts at dated pop songs. Let's invade and grade 'em all.

Golshifteh Farahani, a 29-year-old actress who became the first Iranian to star in a major Hollywood film, has been banned from returning to Iran, The Telegraph is reporting.
Her offense? Appearing topless in a short black-and-white film.
Farahani appeared partially nude in Jean-Baptiste Mondino's 'Corps et Âmes' (Bodies and Souls) as well as in the French magazine Madame Le Figaro. This week she received word from the Iranian government that she would not be permitted to return to her homeland, according to The Daily Mail.
In the film produced by the Cesar Academy -- roughly the French equivalent of the Academy Awards -- Farahani appears in a series of actors who were preselected for awards. The film cuts between the actors as each completes a line while undressing.
Farahani began her career at the age of six and rose to fame in Iranian cinema by the time she was 14-years-old.
