Watching "MTV" as a kid in the 80's and 90's growing up watching my favorite music videos, of course watching the channel you always saw this little segment called "MTV News" as it was updates on the air within the hour in between videos and advertising breaks. With each update lasting about 5 minutes or less the news would give breaking news on bands, singers, tour dates, album and concert date releases ,also it would even provide some pop culture and movie entertainment news. Mostly hosted by the knowledge knowing Kurt Loder or the very good John Norris the news was a must watch sometimes even the cute attractive Tabitha Soren or Karen Duffy would host. So if you were a rock fan and watcher of the channel "MTV News" was a must watch.
