Department H was a branch of the Canadian government that sanctioned, supported, and monitored superhuman activity in Canada. It also oversaw the country's officially endorsed superhuman team, Alpha Flight.
When Alpha Flight died in battle against the Collective, Department H officially shut down as well. (Omega Flight, Canada's subsequently endorsed team, was created as a part of the Canadian Secret Intelligence Service.)

North Star: Jean-Paul Beaubier, from Montreal, is a mutant with powers of super-speed and light generation.
Aurora: Jeanne-Marie Beaubier is North star's twin sister who suffers from dissociative identity disorder (multiple personalities). Like her brother, she is also a mutant with powers of super-speed, flight, light generation, and molecular acceleration.
Update both have upper body strength of 3 tons each, and can run at the speed of sound 770mph can withstand fire and knives and bullets don't hurt them.
Sasquatch: Walter Langowski is a scientist from British Columbia who can transform into a giant fur-covered beast resembling a Sasquatch. Sasquatch has a look of an orangutang, very athletic in both urban, forest and jungle environments.
This character originally developed his powers from a Hulk-inspired gamma radiation experiment that was affected by a solar flare. Eventually, it was explained that Sasquatch is actually a mystical monster.
Shaman: Michael Two-youngmen is a First Nations medicine man from Calgary. He is both a skilled doctor and a sorcerer.
Snowbird: Also known as Narya, she is an Inuit demi-goddess from Yellowknife, who can transform into animals of the Americas. (Update Make her an Inuit woman).
Promoted from Beta Flight despite Department H being closed down by the Canadian government were:
Marina: An amphibious woman from Newfoundland, she was a former member of Beta Flight before joining Alpha Flight. She is actually part of an extraterrestrial invading force known as the Plodex. Can breathe in non-oxygen environments, also upper body strength of 20 earth women 5 enhanced senses.

The headquarters of Alpha flight is located in Winston Churchill square of Edmonton. There are two HQ which have been configured to the team needs, a 20 French bedroom chateau mansion with hanger basement, storage and lab facilities basement. The Hanger is directly below the tennis court, CCTV on property and land, also 5 Bungalows on the property for both guests and permanent team member, based upon the roster at the time.
NB: Each member of Alpha, Beta and Omega are trained in Wing Chung, Hapkido, Silat and Jujitsu, many members are expected to, surpass basic training and will achieve up to 6th Dan, in each style of their choosing. Also training in weapons combat, knives, guns and spear.
NB: Shaman utilises an enchanted medicine bag for spells of all kinds from a leather pouch on his right hip. A qualified doctor, who has skills of the occult, talk to his ancestor via a crystal skull.

*Proto: A semi-sentient glob of primaeval goo capable of floating, squeezing through tight spaces, and corroding substances through secretion of acid.
*Ape-Man: A pre-homo Sapien hominid of limited civility with enhanced strength, superhuman agility, heightened invulnerability.
*Highbrow: An advanced human whose body was combined with technology who could float, had enhanced senses and intelligence, and the ability to teleport great distances,
Pathway, One of the mutant Dean twins, Laura tried to learn how to use her dimension crossing abilities as a member of Canada's Beta Flight Team, alongside her sister, Goblyn.
Goblyn: Goblyn also possesses very heightened and acute senses, from smell, to hearing, and night vision, she is an ideal huntress. Lithe in build she is inhumanly agile and fast, able to jump around and leap from great heights. Her hide is also quite durable and has proven tough to penetrate and damage. Lastly, Goblyn has a healing factor in her genes, the limits of which have not been completely studied as of yet.
Roger Bochs, is a genius inventor and developed a robot he nicknamed Box, that could act for him. He joined the Canadian superhero team Alpha Flight's training group Beta Flight. Roger Bochs was the original user of the Box armor.,
Windshear is A mutant with the ability to project "hard-air" molecules that can be used for various methods much like Invisible Woman's force field. Armour was developed for him by Roxxon Oil to fully harness his power giving him better control as well as granting him the ability to fly. Later, his armor was modified by Alpha Flight when they all wore identical red costumes as a team. The armor also has a retractable protective tinted acrylic glass faceplate and a radio communicator built into the helmet.
Witchfire, Witchfire, whose real name is Ananym, is the daughter of the demon sorcerer Belasco (ruler of Limbo) Various powers i.e. Electric Manipulation (Electrokinesis). Fire Manipulation (Pyrokinesis).Water Manipulation (Hydrokinesis). Healing Factor. Magical Will-Based Constructs. Telekinesis, Telepathy.
Wildchild: Was trained by Wolverine and is highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat. Gibney has often served as a tracker with the aid of his enhanced sense of smell. Wild Child is a skilled gymnast, trained beyond the level of an Olympic athlete with enhanced 5 senses. Gibney is an excellent dirt biker and skateboarder.
Gamma Flight: Gamma Flight was mostly raw recruits. After a training period, theoretically, they would be upgraded to Beta Flight and eventually to Alpha Flight, the premiere official superhero team of Canada.
Diamond Lil force field and flight manipulation, diamond-hard body with high endurance, a forcefield are similar to the Sue Richards i.e. can absorb force and re-direct the energy back at an opponent 8 times the amount of force a skilled acrobat and fighter. (update)

Omega flight each member in training please note due to funding Alpha flight was decommissioned, then Beta flight were secretly used although Beta and Omega were in training many members based upon, abilities and learning capability were progressed to the next level.
