Despite their monumental success with Marvel’s Avengers films, the Russo Brothers admire the creator of the DC Extended Universe Zack Snyder for his approach to visualizing his movies. Having worked under the MCU and DC, respectively, both the filmmaking duo and Snyder are renowned for their contributions to comic book movies.

Undoubtedly, the superhero genre has become oversaturated. Whether it’s Marvel or DC, the sheer volume of content they churn out is astounding. With a plethora of options and an expansive ocean of material, audiences have begun to experience what’s known as superhero fatigue.
Kevin Smith (Gage Skidmore| Wikimedia Commons)
In light of this, Kevin Smith humorously likened DC and Marvel to herpes, not as an insult, but for their enduring and everlasting presence. Despite concerns of oversaturation, Smith believes that superhero movies will continue to thrive indefinitely. Here’s why.

Created by Damon Lindelof, Jeffrey Lieber, and J. J. Abrams, the sci-fi adventure drama Lost has been hailed as one of the greatest TV hits of all time. Following a group of plane crash survivors on a mysterious island, the series captivated audiences over the course of six seasons and won numerous awards along the way, including the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series.

Kevin Feige had a far crazier idea for Avengers: Endgame climax inspired by the Toy Story 3 ending. Feige wanted to kill off all the six Og Avengers at the end of the film and proposed the idea to directors Russo brothers and screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. However, they shot down the idea since the directors believed that they could not do justice to all these character deaths.

The mystical realm of Harry Potter serves as the perfect backdrop for a go-to comfort movie. Under the aegis of directors like Chris Columbus and David Yates, the movie adaptations of the globally cherished novel series were a prominent success. But would the wizardly creations have been as revered, had someone like the three-time Academy Award winner Steven Spielberg helmed the project?

Pretty much every single work from Steven Spielberg is an immersive cinematic gem, with pieces like those from the Jurassic Park franchise and Schindler’s List being some of the best works credited to his name. And yet, there is still one piece of critically acknowledged masterwork from the early stages of his career that the filmmaker isn’t exactly satisfied with.

In fact, if anything, the director wouldn’t hesitate to change the ending of his $340 million movie in a heartbeat if it were made today.

Only the learned can perceive the merit, goes the saying. Among the vast pool of talent in Hollywood, only a few have managed to bring across a resounding impact not only in terms of the box office but also by catapulting into everyday pop culture. Sadly, after entertaining movie enthusiasts for so many years, she has decided to step away from it all to follow her dharma.

The Avengers is effortlessly one of the biggest fan favorites and best pieces of work created during the reign of Kevin Feige by Marvel Studios. Netflix may be one of the biggest, most successful, and wealthy streaming platforms, but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t come out victorious in reportedly duping quite a few actors.
This comes after these reportedly affected actors — one of them being Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad — themselves called out the multi-billionaire platform for cheating them when it came to their paychecks.

While initially, Paul was the one to boldly expose the streaming giant like that, it turns out that he isn’t the only one affected.
According to the latest reports, filmmaker Mike Flanagan, the genius behind horror masterpieces like The Haunting of Hill House, has come forward to slam the subscription video on-demand streaming service.

With the advent and multiplication of content, they believe that movies are beginning to lose their charm. But The Garfield Movie might have shown them the mirror.

Following the success of Steven Spielberg’s 1975 cinematic masterpiece Jaws, which captivated audiences with its tense and frightening portrayal of a great white shark terrorizing a beach town, the movie became an inspiration for upcoming thrillers. But there was one film in particular that shockingly used Jaws as a humorous dig.

Well, in 1978, after Universal Studios released the sequel to Jaws, director Joe Dante came up with Piranha, which was a playful parody version of Steven Spielberg’s suspenseful thriller. Taking a humorous approach, exaggerating the dangers of a school of deadly piranhas, the movie deliberately departed from Jaws’ serious and suspenseful tone.
However, Joe Dante’s campy spoof movie seemingly annoyed Universal Studios, which almost led to a lawsuit, until Steven Spielberg intervened to save the day.
