“The Masked Singer” revealed the latest celebrities to be revealed on Wednesday night’s Group B finale, and it was Feldman as the Seal and Studdard/Aiken together as the Beets.

Tom Hanks is known for his good-guy characters in his films. Be it romantic comedies such as You’ve Got Mail and Sleepless in Seattle, or dramas such as Forrest Gump and Philadelphia, the actor always plays roles that represent the morally right side of humanity. With his penchant for such sweet roles, he has been nicknamed the Dad of Hollywood.
However, Hanks reportedly does not have the need to stick to such roles. He recently played Elvis Presley’s antagonistic manager Col. Tom Parker in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis, which was different from his usual good-guy roles. He has also mentioned that he fought against decisions made by directors to portray him as a good guy, especially in a pivotal scene in his Oscar-winning film Forrest Gump.

Tyler, the Creator is no doubt one of the greatest showmen working today in hip-hop. During his headlining set on Saturday night (April 13) at Coachella, the rapper once again proved just that, transforming the main stage into a desert canyon and using lighting and projections to create an ambiance so vivid and entrancing that it could only have sprung from an imaginative mind as his own.
To that, Tyler made the most of his first headlining show at the festival, where he has performed numerous times before. “The first time I played Coachella was 2011,” he told the crowd midway through the set. “I didn’t know what the fuck Coachella was, but me and my friends at the time, we went by Odd Future. And it was great. We were in a house. We rented a crib, went to target n—a, bought some snacks, and performed. The performance was terrible.

Carly Reeves wasn’t pleased about being the first person eliminated on season 2 of ABC’s Claim to Fame. The niece of Oscar-winner Tom Hanks gave an awards-worthy performance of her own – complete with an ear-splitting scream and tears – after a fellow contestant correctly guessed the Saving Private Ryan star was her uncle in the show’s June 26 episode.
Reeves’ connection to Hanks landed her a spot on the competition series, which brings together a group of 12 celebrity relatives and challenges them to discover the identity of each other’s famous family members. But that’s not her only celebrity connection. Reeves may have also worked at Lisa Vanderpump’s Sur.

While her sister Halle has been kept in the bright spotlight recently, Chloe Bailey, 24, has taken a step forward to share it.
On Monday night, one-half of the Chloe X Halle duo headlined the “Juneteenth: A Global Celebration for Freedom” concert. The event took place at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
Chloe performed “What’s Love Got To Do With It” in honor of the late Tina Turner. The 24-year-old wore a tattered shimmering red dress, similar to Turner’s 1978 flame dress designed by Bob Mackie. Turner died of natural causes last month.
Others in attendance were Vice President Kamala Harris and performers Charlie Wilson, Nelly, Miguel, Kirk Franklin, Swv, Davido, Coi Leray and Jodeci.

Juneteenth, which falls on June 19, commemorates the fall of slavery in the United States.
It celebrates the anniversary of the order made by Major General Gordon Granger on June 1965 that proclaimed freedom for slaves in Texas. The order was actually made two years after Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation.
In a tweet Monday, former President Obama explained it as the “delayed but welcome news of freedom reaching the enslaved Black folks in Galveston, Texas.” In 2021, President Biden made Juneteenth a federal holiday.
Many networks are marking the occasion with Juneteenth TV specials or movie marathons showcasing Black talent and/or excellence. See our viewing guide below:

‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ Loading Up Franchise Record Opening Between $60M-$70M – Early Look Box Office
Exclusive: Lionsgate’s John Wick: Chapter 4 arrived on tracking today with a robust projection between $60M-$70M in what would rep the highest opening stateside for the Keanu Reeves R-rated franchise. It’s another solid opening in what is a back-to-back tentpole programmed spring.
That anticipated opening for Chapter 4 would also rep the biggest opening for Lionsgate since the pandemic. The studio had a nice win last weekend with the faith-based title Jesus Revolution which opened to $15.8M and just crossed $20M yesterday.
Note that tracking remains shakey for all films during the pandemic. Typically, in regards to openings, there’s a -10% ease between a threequel and a fourthquel.
The last movie, John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum opened to $56.8M and was finaled at $171M domestic, $328.3M WW in what was the highest grossing installment in the $585.5M-plus grossing franchise.
Similar to Chapter 3, Chapter 4 is hot with older guys and older women.

John Wick 4 is set to continue the hitman saga next year, but the movies have done a formidable job at building a world that can be explored through a streaming or television series. And that’s just what’s been announced. Outside of the Keanu Reeves movies, there will be an extensive look at the Continental hotel underground business with the spin-off prequel series called The Continental.
The Continental is set to stream on Peacock, but Variety now reports that the international distribution will have the show streaming through Amazon Prime. The international market takes place outside of the United States, the Middle East, and Israel. The series will focus on the manager of The Continental, Winston Scott, who Ian McShane portrayed in the films. Colin Woodell will be playing a younger Winston for the prequel. The official synopsis of the Lionsgate-produced show reads,

John Wick prequel series The Continental is on the move. The series is moving from Starz to NBCU streamer Peacock.
The unusual move comes more than four years after the project was first unveiled by the premium cable network. Sources have told Deadline that the three-part action event series is more of a natural fit for Peacock, which recently acquired the rights to the John Wick movies, and comes as Starz has repositioned its brand over the last few years to focus more on female skewing series such as Outlander and series that fit specific demographics such as the Power franchise.
It is not part of a wholesale move to move projects elsewhere ahead of Lionsgate’s pending deal to sell the cable network, as an announcement could come next month. Starz is not expected to have a second window.
The Continental will now launch on Peacock in 2023.

If, at its heart, “Reservation Dogs” is a story of about a group of young kids growing up and finding their way, the show’s rural Oklahoma setting is its soul. The specificity of the series’ humor and tone, its blend of the mythic and the mundane (embodied by Dallas Goldtooth’s warrior spirit with chill vibes), come through in all the ways the series captures being not just from but of this particular place. You can literally see it in how the camera captures particular details of the landscape or the wide shots of greenery intermingling with industrial decay.
But you can also hear it in how the show uses music. Certain tracks provide a sense of emotion and place that feel universally relatable, but are uniquely the show’s.
The series doesn’t have one sound. It is instead a glorious mishmash of rock, punk, country, protest anthems,...
