Lisa Rinna shared that she would return to her old television stomping grounds if she were asked. She has been on a few popular shows in her time. Yet, she is currently exploring other aspects of her career. So, where would she go if she was given a second chance? Keep reading for more details.
Lisa Rinna Would Return To Her Old TV Stomping Grounds
For years, Lisa Rinna was known for stirring up trouble while telling women they looked gorgeous on Rhobh. She started in Season 5 and exited after Season 12 which was admittedly her roughest season. During the year, her mother, Lois, passed away and that caused her to lash out in ways she never had. It all culminated with an awful trip to Aspen with her co-stars where Kathy Hilton went on a rampage. After the season ended, Lisa opted to exit the series but this was not her first go-round.

In the early 90s, producer Aaron Spelling and TV creator Darren Star struck primetime drama gold with the high school soap opera Beverly Hills 90210. The show laid the groundwork for some good old-fashioned scheduled viewing for homes waiting to see what kinds of trouble the kids at West Beverly would get into. While the series would get to put its characters in some compromising situations like Brandon’s gambling, Brenda‘s pregnancy scare, Dylan’s drug use or Donna Martin graduating, Spelling would explore more steamy stories with the spin-off Melrose Place. The show would crossover stars as Beverly’s Dylan and Kelly befriended Melrose resident Jake. And when Heather Locklear was added to the cast, the show’s popularity would skyrocket.

Darren Starr's primetime soap opera "Melrose Place" debuted on July 8, 1992, initially sold as a spinoff of the ultra-hot "Beverly Hills 90210." The series followed the denizens of the titular apartment complex, said to be located at 4616 Melrose in West Hollywood, California. "Melrose Place" was a massive success and was replete with all the sex, angst, and topical interpersonal drama that typically appeared in a TV series produced by Aaron Spelling. The show lasted seven seasons and 226 episodes. "Melrose Place" birthed a spinoff in 1995 called "Models, Inc." and was revived (with a new cast of characters) for an additional season in 2009.

NCIS star Mark Harmon and his partner Michael Weatherly were able to dig deep into their characters on a special NCIS episode. But Weatherly quipped that the best part about the occasion was getting rough with Harmon.

Weatherly and Harmon were both allowed to get pretty physical with each other as their NCIS characters. In one of the show’s episodes “Baltimore,” the series took a step backwards to explore the history of Weatherly’s Tony Dinozzo. The series was already in its eighth season back then, so Harmon felt NCIS put in enough legwork over the years to explore characters’ backstories.
“By the time we started doing flashbacks, which was a number of years in, we’d earned it. Certainly as an actor you have more to grip on to,” Harmon once told TV Guide.

NCIS fans can’t wait to hear more about season 21 — though, of course, they miss Mark Harmon as Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Harmon left the series in season 19. There have been various reasons for his departure, and he opened up about his choice in late 2023. Here’s what he said about feeling “tired” after the show.
Mark Harmon said he was ‘just tired’ after finishing his tenure with ‘NCIS’
Mark Harmon stood firm with NCIS since its premiere in 2003. The show creators weren’t sure they could get Harmon on board at first, so they made alternative plans if he didn’t accept their offer. Thankfully, Harmon was ready to join the team as Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs. He made a tremendous impact on the military police procedural.
So, why did Harmon call it quits on the show? At the time, he hoped to focus on other creative endeavors and his family.

Looney Tunes is not leaving Max after all. The streamer had released a list that included the classic cartoons leaving the platform in December.
Max has since revised their “What’s New on Max This December” press release.
“Looney Tunes was included in error as a title leaving the platform,” read the statement clarifying the status of the classic shorts. “This is not the case and the show will continue streaming on Max.”
An outcry from fans of the show followed on social media after believing Bugs Bunny and his friends would not live on the streaming platform anymore.
The error comes a couple weeks after Wbd announced it would be scrapping the already-completed Coyote Vs. Acme for a tax writeoff. The David Zaslav-run company reconsidered the decision after fan backlash and set up screenings for streamers who might want to buy it.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis are recalling how their infamous Sex and the City characters came to be.
During the recent Satc 25th anniversary special of the And Just Like That… The Writers Room podcast with sequel creator Michael Patrick King, the trio opens up about the audition process before the show’s 1998 debut.
Davis, who ended up taking on the role of gallerist Charlotte York, revealed that Satc creator Darren Star initially asked her to read for Carrie Bradshaw, telling her at the time, “We really wanted Sarah Jessica…[but] we don’t know if Sarah’s going to do it, so will you read for Carrie?”
But Davis said in “the original script, Carrie was much more like Candice and she smoked and she swore…and I was like, I can’t possibly [play that character.] And I remember one line in the script it said, ‘Carrie has the...

Before she was Miranda, Cynthia Nixon auditioned to play Carrie Bradshaw. Speaking on the And Just Like That… The Writers Room podcast Thursday, Nixon revealed that she tried to get the Sex and the City role made famous by Sarah Jessica Parker.
“They brought me in to audition for Carrie. I auditioned and they were like, ‘Yeah, not so much,’” Nixon said on the podcast. “And I said to myself — and I’m usually not so proactive — but I was like, at the time, it didn’t seem like there were four women,...

While it’s hard to imagine anyone but Cynthia Nixon playing Miranda and Sarah Jessica Parker playing Carrie on HBO’s classic comedy “Sex and the City,” Nixon revealed in a new podcast Thursday that she first auditioned to play the role of Carrie on the series — and bombed. Thankfully, producers asked her back to audition for the uptight but well-meaning lawyer Miranda, and just like that… the rest is history.
Sitting for a special “Sex and the City” 25th anniversary episode of “And Just Like That… The Writers Room” podcast — along with costars Parker and Kristin Davis — Emmy winner Nixon recalled how after bombing as Carrie, she pushed to be seen for another role.

While Carrie Bradshaw is the main character in Sex and the City, her three best friends are also major players in the series. Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), a lawyer, didn’t take anyone’s crap, especially not men. Samatha Jones (Kim Cattrall) lived her life fabulously and out loud, doing who and what she wanted — when she wanted. Finally, Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) was the more demure friend out of the foursome who valued more traditional roles.
Charlotte is an integral part of the success of Satc, but she wasn’t even supposed to be a main character on the show.

Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) was always the more traditionally-minded friend on Sex and the City. While Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), and Samatha Jones (Kim Cattrall) often embraced their singleness, Charlotte was determined to get her husband and children.
Interestingly enough, Davis was initially asked to audition for the role of Carrie. However, the actor quickly discovered that Charlotte would be a much better fit for her.

Dynasty was the quintessential ’80s primetime soap opera. Millions tuned in weekly to see the glitz, the glamour, the backstabbing, and the shoulder pads. ABC aired the series from 1981 to 1989. It was so popular that music icon Prince mentioned it in his song “Kiss.” The lyrics, “You don’t have to watch Dynasty to have an attitude,” were a sign of the times. The nighttime soap earned a Golden Globe nomination yearly from 1981 to 1986, winning in 1983. And in 2017, The CW revived the series with a new cast. So, which original Dynasty cast members are still alive?

A dozen years ago, Laura Linney became the fifth of seven actresses to conquer two lead TV Golden Globe categories by winning Best Comedy Actress for “The Big C” two years after being honored for her work on the limited series “John Adams.” Following her unsuccessful Best Drama Actress bid for Netflix’s “Ozark” in 2021, she now has a second chance to blaze a trail as the first winner of all three Golden Globe awards available to lead TV actresses. Since her show has come to an end and she is up against a slate of category newcomers, she should now stand a better chance of standing out to voters and achieving this impressive feat.
Linney came up short in 2021’s drama actress race against “The Crown” star Emma Corrin, who has passed her role of Princess Diana on to current supporting nominee Elizabeth Debicki. Her other three former challengers...

Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper spent their New Year’s Eve live from New York City’s Times Square for the sixth year as co-hosts. This year was a little different, though.
For the first time, Cohen and Cooper’s broadcast didn’t include any on-camera drinking by correspondents. The change comes after last year’s show when Cohen made a comment about the band Journey and Ryan Seacrest that he claims was “blown out of proportion.”
The Watch What Happens Live host, who had been drinking with Cooper on air throughout their New Year’s Eve show, saw that band Journey was performing on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve without their former frontman Steve Perry. He referred to the show’s guests as a “group of losers” and said that anyone watching ABC that night had “seen nothing.”

Hapless Sid tries inviting famous one-time pal Elizabeth Banks to his college reunion. Nothing goes to plan – but the film retains real warmth
The Hunger Games’ Elizabeth Banks is an unexpected choice as the muse of this Canadian comedy-drama, adapted from Michael Kun’s pre-social media-era novel about a sadsack software worker’s obsession with Heather Locklear – who, to be honest, was more front-and-centre than Banks in the zeitgeist of her day. Debut director Scott Abramovitch’s gentle film is less a look at digital-age fandom than an affable primer on accepting your own unremarkableness.

It's a tale as old as time: heavy-metal drummer follows viral social media sensation, arranges to meet her in real life, and falls in love. Ok, maybe not, but that's the modern love story of 59-year-old Mötley Crüe cofounder Tommy Lee and 35-year-old former Vine star Brittany Furlan, who tied the knot on Valentine's Day in 2019, exactly one year after they got engaged.
This is the drummer's fourth marriage, but it's the first for Furlan, as well as her first fulfilling relationship. As she said in the 2018 Netflix documentary "The American Meme," "I met someone who I can trust because I didn't trust anybody that I've dated before. I'd say Tommy is my first true love and I am finally safe and happy." Despite their unconventional start, you have to admit that's pretty sweet.

The Melrose Place that premiered 30 years ago, on July 8, 1992, is likely not the Melrose Place you remember. Initially, Fox’s first Beverly Hills, 90210 spinoff — which focused on the young, attractive residents of the titular West Hollywood apartment complex — played it safe with episodic storylines that neatly resolved at the end of each hour. “We were just eight nice kids trying to make it, and nobody cared,” original cast member Courtney Thorne-Smith (Allison Parker) told The Hollywood Reporter in 2017. But then, toward the end of Season 1, came Heather Locklear (Amanda Woodward) and soapy storylines aplenty: murder, blackmail, bombings, kidnappings, double identities, and one memorable wig. “I’m not sure you would call Melrose Place some of my finest hours,” TV mega-producer Aaron Spelling, one of the masterminds behind Melrose Place, told Rolling Stone in 1994. “But I’d have to say that they’re definitely some of my most fun hours.

"...'Andrew' and 'Charlie McGee', are a father-daughter pair on the run from a government agency known as 'The Shop'. During his college years, Andy had participated in a Shop experiment dealing with 'Lot 6', a drug with hallucinogenic effects similar to LSD. Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched Season 7, Episode 4, of “The Masked Singer,” “Masking For It — The Good, the Bad and the Cuddly — Round 2,” which aired March 30 on Fox.
It was a brief, but eventful, tenure on “The Masked Singer” for supermodel Christie Brinkley, who was revealed on this week’s episode as the Lemur. According to Brinkley, she was ill the actual day of the performance on the show.
“I had a real bout of food poisoning the night before,” she told Variety. “And so I was running on empty that morning.”
Brinkley was the first celebrity to depart during Round 2 of Season 7, which means she only got to perform one song on the show: “I Feel the Earth Move,” by Carole King.
But according to Brinkley, that wasn’t the original plan: She was set to sing “Dream a Little Dream,” “with a really cute choreography and everything,...

Update (2/8): Pearl Jam and Mötley Crüe’s extremely 1991 feud got a little bit more ridiculous as video of Eddie Vedder taking a not-so-subtle jab at Tommy Lee’s drum theatrics at a recent show began to circulate online. The comments came during Vedder’s solo show with his backing band the Earthlings in New Jersey this past Sunday, Feb. 7, a couple days after Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx called Pearl Jam “one of the most boring bands in history” (this was after Vedder dissed the hair metal giants in...

Your eyes aren’t deceiving you. In Episode 2 of Hulu’s “Pam & Tommy,” that indeed is Tommy Lee, played by Sebastian Stan, having a deep, honest conversation with his talking penis — voiced by Jason Mantzoukas.
It’s unlike anything that has ever been seen on television. Granted, it’s something that couldn’t have ever been seen on over-the-air television, at least without a hefty FCC fine and the threat of losing a broadcast license. But not even premium cable has done this — at least, to the best of anyone’s memory. “I think it might be a first, it might possibly be,” said executive producer Rob Siegel.
Despite all that, Hulu execs were surprisingly chill with the scene.
“It’s a show that takes advantage of the canvas of television, which is different than it was 10 years ago,” said Hulu Originals president Craig Erwich.

What a season!
While there were some missed opportunities, Ted Lasso Season 2 supplied us with plenty of gut-busting laughs and gut-wrenching tears.
Let's take a look at some of the highlights.
The Episode Deserving Of More Credit
Ted Lasso Season 2 Episode 4 receives flack for being a sweet Christmas story without contributing much to the ongoing arcs. In hindsight, it set up some critical plot beats.
Nate's Christmas present factors into the nasty dissolution of his and Ted's relationship, personally and professionally. Ted watching It's A Wonderful Life foreshadows the reveal about Ted's dad.
Roy's irritation at the fan who wants a picture of Keeley only sets up his reaction to being excluded from the Vanity Fair article and his fear Keeley will leave him behind.
It's so very Ted Lasso for an installment some criticize as sugary filler to have more layers than first impressions suggest.
