What appears to be the first big, full-length mummy film and the biggest influence on future mummy films.
However, there do seem to be earlier films some of which there isn't much information on (some may not fall into our definition of a mummy film) and some are now missing but I'll list them next and let interested parties use that as a springboard for further investigation. This won't include Eyes of the Mummy as there apprently isn'l a mummy in it.
