Originally created this list on letterboxd somewhere in 2012, based pretty much on a certain "weird asia" tag that includes around 60 movies. Further expanded on with similiar ones. This list is intended to be anti-smarmy so entries are kept mainly pre-1990 with some fitting exceptions.
