Zendaya’s Stylist Calls of “Big Five” Designers Who Snubbed The Challengers Star. (Photo Credit – Instagram)
The current fashion “it girl” Zendaya was reportedly snubbed by five prominent designers’ houses back in the day. In an interview with The Cutting Room Floor shared on Patreon Thursday, May 9, the “Challengers” actress’ long-time stylist, Law Roach, revealed she has yet to wear looks from five fashion houses on the red carpet after they refused to dress her early in her career.
Roach, who has styled the “Dune” star since she was 14, has continued to work with the actress despite announcing his retirement from celebrity styling over a year ago. Roach, who recently styled Zendaya for the Met Gala, where she walked the carpet in a stunning gown by Maison Margiela’s John Galliano, said it was a challenge to get certain luxury fashion houses to work with the star in the past...

Following its critically acclaimed fourth season, which has been praised as “the best-written show on all of television” and “superior sci-fi,” Apple TV+ announced that its hit, award-winning space drama series “For All Mankind” has landed a renewal for season five. Additionally, Apple TV+ and “For All Mankind” creators Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi will expand the “For All Mankind” universe with a brand-new spinoff series, “Star City,” which will be showrun by Nedivi and Wolpert. Both series are produced for Apple TV+ by Sony Pictures Television.
“Our fascination with the Soviet space program has grown with every season of ‘For All Mankind,’” said executive producers Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi. “The more we learned about this secret city in the forests outside Moscow where the Soviet cosmonauts and engineers worked and lived, the more we wanted to tell this story of the other side of the space race.

“One of the things that I’m most proud of, if not the most proud of, is that Jeanie Boulet walked out of that ER,” Gloria Reuben says, looking back on the NBC medical drama that aired for 15 seasons (1994-2009) and of which she was a part for six seasons. ER just celebrated the 15th anniversary of its series finale, but people are still watching it today, thanks to it being available on Hulu and Max. “I’m super proud because it’s still a hit today,” Reuben (who’s now recurring on Elsbeth and The Equalizer) tells TV Insider. “It stands alone as one of the all-time best medical shows ever, and I’m very humble and very proud to have been a part of it.” Like us, she loved Jeanie Boulet. “She was really brave ...

Keira Knightley & James McAvoy Once Opened Up Their Atonement Love Scene. (Photo Credit – IMDb)
Keira Knightley is one of those actresses who fits perfectly in a period film; her filmography is significant proof of that. She has given outstanding performances in her movies, and the actress selected one of her best intimate scenes on screen. It was with James McAvoy in their film, Atonement. But the X-Men: First Class actor had a different opinion about their passionate lovemaking scene.
The 2007 romance drama was based on Ian McEwan’s novel of the same name. It featured McAvoy and Knightley in lead roles. Saoirse Ronan played an integral part in the movie that was directed by Joe Wright. The film was nominated for multiple Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Supporting Actress for Ronan. Sibi Malayil Reveals Reasons for Backing Out Of Kamal Haasan’s Gunaa(Photo Credit –Wikipedia/IMDb)
In a recent interview with the New Indian Express, veteran filmmaker Sibi Malayil opened up about his failed collaboration with Kamal Haasan for his Tamil debut in ‘Gunaa.’ Despite the renewed interest in Kamal’s film, particularly referenced in the recent Malayalam hit ‘Manjummel Boys,’ Sibi shared insights into why he ultimately decided to pass on the opportunity to direct the project.
Sibi discussed their failed collaboration from the 90s, initially planned as a Tamil movie produced by Raj Kamal Films International’s manager Dns. The concept focused on a commercial film about the Indian Peace Keeping Force (Ipkf) in Sri Lanka. Still, Kamal dropped the idea due to its controversial nature, exacerbated by Rajiv Gandhi’s assassination.
Following this, the duo commenced planning for “Gunaa.” However, Sibi Malayil was preoccupied with his film “Bharatham,...

Heading into the 2024 Oscars, most of the above-the-line categories seemed locked in with “Oppenheimer” poised to take Best Picture, Best Actor (Cillian Murphy), Best Supporting Actor (Robert Downey Jr.) and Best Director (Christopher Nolan). “The Holdovers” was guaranteed a win for Best Supporting Actress (Da’Vine Joy Randolph) and even the screenplay categories had clear front-runners in “Anatomy of a Fall” and “American Fiction.”
Best Actress was the only major race that held us in suspense to the end. After Emma Stone (“Poor Things”) won the Golden Globe (Comedy/Musical), Critics Choice and BAFTA, and Lily Gladstone (“Killers of the Flower Moon”) took home the Golden Globe (Drama) and SAG Award, the two seemed deadlocked for Oscar glory. However, most of the experts and Gold Derby users predicted Gladstone would prevail, citing her narrative of becoming the first Native American to win Best Actress would help propel her across the finish line.

In the "The Simpsons" episode "Future-Drama", Bart (Nancy Cartwright) and Lisa (Yeardley Smith) visit the mad scientist Professor Frink (Hank Azaria) to get a glimpse into their future. Frink has invented a future-predicting computer, and the Simpson children ask to see what they might look like as teenagers. In the year 2013, Bart is dating a cool skateboarder named Jenda (Amy Poehler) and Lisa, on her way to medical school, has had an on-again-off-again relationship with Milhouse (Pamela Hayden). Marge has been dating Krusty the Clown (Dan Castellaneta) after leaving Homer for committing a flagrant financial crime.
To ensure the episode is sufficiently surreal, there is a scene wherein the teenage Bart and the older Homer (Castellaneta) pass through a quantum tunnel and emerge on the other side with a robot they mysteriously accumulated. The robot is Bender (John Dimaggio), the drunken droid from Matt Groening's "Futurama," a series that,...

The actors from the current revival of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s “Merrily We Roll Along” have skyrocketed in Gold Derby’s combined odds for the 2024 Tony Awards nominations. The prediction center displays commanding leads for Jonathan Groff, Lindsay Mendez and Daniel Radcliffe to win their respective categories. This is an understandable result considering this revival is the hottest ticket in town and this trio of performers has been ever-present in the media. But how often does a trio of actors from the same production pull off three separate acting victories at the Tony Awards?
It’s quite common for a musical to grab two acting trophies, but three awards is much rarer. To date, only 15 musical productions have earned three acting wins. The first time this feat occurred was at the 1956 ceremony, which was ironically the first time the Tony Awards ever announced a slate of nominees (previously...

As the long wait for 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 5 intensifies, we have an update on the Fox drama.
The network took to social media this week to reveal that production of new episodes is finally underway.
The news means the show has been out of production for over a year, with the previous season finale airing in May 2023.
Like many shows this season, production was postponed due to the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes.
While the show was renewed for the 2023-24 season, the network decided to hold off on airing new episodes until next season.
The decision means that the earliest new episodes can get underway is in the fall. The show will have been off the air for around 15 months by then.
We can probably rule out 9-1-1 franchise crossovers
On top of that, 9-1-1 Season 7 will have come and gone, but we don’t expect...

Exclusive: Michael MacMillan retired from the world of television 17 years ago. Except, he didn’t.
The Canadian film and TV producer and business exec had made his name as CEO and Chairman of Alliance Atlantis, the company that built the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation franchise into a worldwide phenomenon, before its broadcast unit was sold off in 2007 to Canwest Communications and Goldman Sachs — making a lot of cash and taking a well-earned early retirement.
However, just four years later, he was back to do it all again.
MacMillan launched Blue Ant Media in 2011, originally as a Canadian channel operator, much the same as Alliance Atlantis had operated. However, just like his previous company, network ownership was only a means to an end — owning content was always the real play.

No one does it quite like Christopher Nolan! The man is one of the finest filmmakers of all time thanks to his mind-blowing movies, which oftentimes require the audience to have a high level of intellect to truly grasp the essence of the film. Whether it is Inception, Interstellar, or Hollywood’s latest obsession, Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan knows how to create magic on the screen.

Christopher Nolan not only directs but also writes the script for his films, which sets him apart from the other filmmakers in the entertainment industry. To this date, Insomnia (2002) is his only feature film where he doesn’t get the credit for penning the story. However, there is an iconic dialogue from one of Christopher Nolan’s most popular films that he is still haunted by, only because he wasn’t the one who got to write it!

Teen Mom 2 fans have spent years roasting Kailyn Lowry for her family planning, or lack thereof. The mother of seven isn’t the only cast member fans have questioned about their family sizes and plans. In a recent podcast episode, Vee Rivera revealed fans have been equally hard on her for her small family size.
Kailyn Lowry’s large family has raised eyebrows
Kailyn Lowry has a lot of kids. The mother of seven is the Teen Mom star with the most children. While Lowry seems happy and content with the size of her family following the birth of her sixth son and first daughter, some Teen Mom 2 fans are concerned. For years, they have questioned Lowry about her family plans, and each new pregnancy was met with new criticism.

There’s been no shortage of buzz surrounding General Hospital lately. If the show isn’t making noise for its Daytime Emmy win for Outstanding Drama in December, then it’s drumming up excitement for the return of Steve Burton as Jason Morgan this year, as well as the return of Eden McCoy from a brief hiatus, and how it’s bringing on new showrunners to keep the drama hopping in Port Charles.
But the linear ratings tell a slightly different story, if not a depressing one — especially for those who are rooting for the survival of broadcast television. According to season-to-date ratings versus one year ago, Gh is down 9% among total viewers (2.2m vs. 2.4m) and down 9% in women 18+ (1.6m v. 1.8m).
The news isn’t much better over at CBS, which still remains the most watched network in daytime.

"Alien" is a watershed horror and science-fiction film; many have tried to recapture its foreboding magic but director Ridley Scott is confident no one can beat his classic.
The film follows the seven-person crew of the space mining vessel Nostromo; in the 22nd century, space travel is the job of regular working Joes. They pick up a distress signal and, in investigating, pick up an eighth passenger: the titular beast, a phallic and half-cybernetic horror spawned from a human (specifically John Hurt's Kane) but utterly devoid of humanity. The alien blends into the leaky, industrial hull of the Nostromo, and as it picks off the crew one by one, their goal shifts from destroying it to escaping it.
Next year marks the 45th birthday of "Alien," but it still holds up no matter its age. However, in the decades since its release, more than half the cast has passed on.
