Selma Blair's Post Baby Body

4 May 2012 6:07 AM, PDT | Huffington Post | See recent Huffington Post news »

Although Selma Blair's new baby boy, Arthur Saint Bleick, has yet to celebrate his first birthday, the "Cruel Intentions" actress has already returned to what looks like her pre-baby body.

Blair was spotted Thursday afternoon, taking son Arthur to a playdate in Brentwood, Calif. This is the first child for Blair and her fashion designer boyfriend, Jason Bleick.

But the 39-year-old's pregnancy wasn't without its fair share of rough patches. After giving birth, Blair began experiencing pregnancy hair loss.

“This is so not glamorous, but it’s true: I need to take longer showers so that I can collect the hair that falls out and throw it away so I don’t clog the drain," Blair told People. "Why do actresses never talk about that? It just started falling out at the three-month mark and I’m not a girl who likes extensions, so Selma’s going to be bald! »

Blair In Twitter Feud

4 April 2012 1:01 AM, PDT | WENN | See recent WENN news »

Selma Blair became embroiled in a Twitter.com feud on Tuesday after a follower branded her "one of the rudest actresses I've ever met".

The Cruel Intentions star was incensed to read a message from a user which stated, "Selma Blair is by far one of the rudest actresses I've ever met complaining about lines when there aren't any & ordering her husband around."

Blair fired off a reply, asking, "Really? Why lie? And how well do you know me...", before adding: "Ya (sic) know, I will never get why people just lie for the sake of hurting someone? Pathetic."

The actress was seemingly informed that the Twitter follower met her at Los Angeles shopping complex The Grove, and retorted, "Oh wait, we met? You are the rude one. I would never complain and I have no husband. You are a bully. Congratulations.

"You work at The Grove. Congratulations bully. You have no idea what you are talking about. None. Shame on you."

Blair is dating fashion designer Jason Bleick and the couple welcomed son Arthur last July. »

Blair Won't Hesitate To Breastfeed In Public

30 March 2012 4:06 PM, PDT | WENN | See recent WENN news »

Actress Selma Blair has no qualms about breastfeeding in public, insisting, "I don't care who I offend!"

The Cruel Intentions star, who gave birth to her first child Arthur Saint last July, admits she doesn't care who is around when it's time to feed her son.

She tells People.com, "The only time he cries is if he's hungry. We all have nipples. I don't care who I offend; my baby wants to eat. If I can't get a cover over me quick enough, so be it...

"I never want to leave his side. I'm one of those hovering mothers and I know it's really important to have an independent child, so I'm trying to back off, but it's hard. I love him so much, and he's so funny and cute to me."

The new mum recently got involved with the non-profit health organisation Get Real For Kids to learn more about giving her son proper nutrition - and she admits she's learning a lot about feeding herself, too.

She adds, "Nourishing myself correctly is very new to me, so I'm learning as well. It was important for me to be a real mom who loves her kid and needs to have more energy for herself and is trying to learn how to do this.

"Get Real for Kids is started by my very best childhood friend, Dr. Sue, so it made sense to get involved." »

Blair 'Fell Apart' Juggling Motherhood With Movie Promotion

22 March 2012 5:06 AM, PDT | WENN | See recent WENN news »

Selma Blair is struggling to juggle motherhood with her career, admitting she's "fallen apart" since giving birth and her responsibilities are leaving her "seriously sleep-deprived".

The Cruel Intentions star gave birth to her first son, Arthur, last July, but just weeks after his arrival Blair was jetting around the world to promote her movie Dark Horse.

She's now heading back to work in her new role as Charlie Sheen's therapist and love interest in his upcoming sitcom Anger Management - and she's mentally preparing herself for the challenge after a hectic 2011 left her struggling to cope.

Blair tells TV Week, "Somehow I was just hanging on. But then it caught up with me - totally - and, since then, I've just fallen apart. I need to get myself back together so I can go back to work so I can pay for a house for this baby."

However, the actress admits she's already exhausted because little Arthur is still not sleeping well.

She adds, "I'm seriously sleep-deprived; I can barely put a word together. I have not functioned. I'd go to these 'Mommy & Me' classes and they'd be like, 'Oh, my God, my kid still wakes up twice a night or once a night,' and I'd just burst into tears, thinking, 'Oh, I wish! I wish my child woke up twice a night!'

"I'm definitely struggling right now, like so many mums who are trying to be as close to their child as they can and get back to work. It's such a common problem, but you feel like you're the only one in the world.

"It's (motherhood) one of the most horrendous things that's ever happened to me, as well as the most amazing." »

Evan Shapiro: TV > Film: For Curing a Case of the Cubas, There's Nothing Better Than TV

22 February 2012 5:15 AM, PST | Aol TV. | See recent Aol TV. news »

In case you hadn't heard, the Academy Awards are on ABC this Sunday. Regardless of what you think of the nominees, it is clear that the film business is at a crossroads. Fewer people went to the movies in 2011 than any year since Al Gore invented the internet; our nation's multiplexes are in the throes of an epidemic called sequelitis; and the Academy could barely settle on a host for Sunday's Oscars.

But this week, my focus is on the most vulnerable members of the Academy: The Actors. Actors have more at stake than anyone at this annual bacchanalia -- their faces are the most recognizable and their personas are most associated with the success or failure of a film. And, even more perplexing and daunting: winning an Oscar may actually be more hazardous to an acting career than losing. Winning an Oscar puts more of a microscope on an actor than dating Leonardo DiCaprio. »

'The Vampire Diaries': Nina Dobrev on her 'Dangerous Liaisons' style -- Video

10 February 2012 12:17 PM, PST | EW.com - PopWatch | See recent EW.com - PopWatch news »

I literally gasped the first time I saw a picture of Nina Dobrev rocking her black vintage gown in last night’s episode of The Vampire Diaries. (I’ll be honest, usually such reactions are reserved for the male cast members… and it has nothing to do with their style.)

Costume designer Leigh Leverett really outdid herself across the board on this episode — from Stefan and Damon’s tuxedos (Armani and John Varvatos, respectively) to Caroline’s cobalt Alberto Makali. But, as you might have guessed, looking this good is hard work.

Just when you thought American Idol was going to slip to No. 2 on Thursdays, the veteran reality hit rose last night to win the night by a safe margin for the first time in weeks.

Fox’s American Idol (17.9 million viewers, 5.7 adults 18-49 rating) was up 4 percent for the second night of Hollywood Week, fending off CBS Big Bang Theory (16.1 million, 5.5). Fox’s new drama The Finder (6.5 million, 2.3), however, sank 4 percent despite the stronger lead-in this week.

CBS also had Rob (11 million, 3.4), followed by a perfectly demo-steady Person of Interest (15.1 million, 3.3) and The Mentalist (14.4 million, 2.9). Poi matched its season high »
