You have to be careful when labelling your movie with a tagline that may leave itself open to ridicule or, even worse, twisted into a beautiful piece of self-mockery. Remember Andrew Traucki's shark flick 'The Reef'? No, nor me but the poster strapline which read 'Pray that you drown first' always sticks in my head. That's just asking for trouble. The same could be said for the Scott W. Mckinlay helmed horror 'Creep Van' which has just been picked up by Inception Media for North American distribution. The tagline reading 'Let the bad times roll'...eeek! Mckinlay directs the Detroit Riot Productions project based on a story by himself and scribe Jim Bartoo. 'Creep Van' stars Brian Kolodziej, Amy Wehrell, Gerald Emerick, Collin Bernsen, Mike Butler and sexy ex-porn star Angelina Armani - below ('ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest 2') and will be availble...

Director: Robert Hall.
Writers: Robert Hall and Kevin Bocarde.
Cast: Nick Principe, and Angelina Armani.
Chromeskull: Laid to Rest 2 is the sequel to the 2009 film Laid to Rest. Both films were directed by special effects artist Robert Hall and this latest title sees Chromeskull back from near death. This latest film picked up right where the last one left off, with a few new characters introduced. Most notably, Brian Austin Green plays a central role in this film along with Danielle Harris. Harris has been in a number of thrillers recently e.g. Hatchet II, Stake Land and she seems to be comfortable with her title of Scream Queen. Recently released on At&T's video-on-demand service, Chromeskull: Laid to Rest 2 again shows the make up skills of Hall and his company Almost Human, Inc. (Anything Horror). The body count is high, but so is the excitement.

The First poster and character shots have been unveiled for upcoming 80s-set cannibal/slasher film The Locals, as well as full details of the story and cast.

Danny Lopes The Freddie Prinze Jr. of indie horror, Danny Lopes is the actor best known for his roles in all of director Dante Tomaselli's horror films including - Horror, Torture Chamber, Desecration & Satan's Playground. He has also worked as model over the years including his controversial choice to appear in the pages of Playgirl magazine. Danny Lopes strength as an actor is a credibility he brings to playing tortured characters that make bad choices often resulting in disastrous series of events unfolding. With Desecration, Danny Lopes scored his breakout role. With Horror he showed how far he had come along over the years and got to participate in a series of eye popping visuals that left a memorable impression on audiences. Satan's Playground brought a new dimensionality to his work as an actor and allowed him to branch out and show his strengths as an actor. With two new horror films,...

Texas Frightmare Weekend was happy to screen director Robert Hall's second feature-length film Laid to Rest a few years ago at their convention, with cast and crew present to take on any questions the audience might have. I remember sitting in that screening room, watching the movie play on the big projector screen and marveling at the creativity and viciousness of the kill scenes and the 'oh Damn' moments scattered through the film (my personal favorite being set in the jailhouse as the survivors seek sanctuary from the metal-faced madman). Robert Hall owns the immensely successful makeup FX company Almost Human based out of Los Angeles, and because of his own skill and innovation as an FX artist he can bring something to the table that few other directors can: he does his effects in-house, allowing him to stretch even a modest budget far...

Angelina Armani is a model turned porn star who is now making her move to the big screen and is one of the coolest girls I've met. She'll appear in Rob Hall's Chromeskull: Laid to Rest 2 later this year and also other notable horror films, Creep Van and Bloodstruck. She's not stopping with the horror genre though, she told me she loves comedy and action and is looking in that direction as well, take note filmmakers!
