Back in 1986, Caroline Williams played one of my all-time favorite horror final girls, “Stretch” in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. She has followed that with several more horror movie appearances, taking roles in the likes of Leprechaun 3, Blind, and the recent Nicolas Cage Dracula movie Renfield, among many others. Now The Horror Collective has announced that they’ll be bringing us a Christmas-set (and 80s-set) slasher called He Sees You When You’re Sleeping this holiday season, and Williams is in the cast of that movie as well!
Directed by Charlie Steeds, who is also producing the film with Tom Malloy under his Trick Candle Productions banner, He Sees You When You’re Sleeping has the following synopsis: A young man’s Christmas homecoming turns into a nightmare as a killer in a Santa suit gruesomely picks off his estranged, wealthy family for their fortune.

Trauma Therapy: Psychosis appears to be a twisted movie, the concept of which can be compared to red rooms on the dark web. Written by David Josh Lawrence and Tom Malloy, the movie revolves around a twisted series of events and a sadistic form of gaming. Trauma Therapy: Psychosis, a sequel to Trauma Therapy (2019), is replete with disturbing images that revolve around a self-help group created by Tobin Vance. The cult Vance sets up here uses extremely harsh methods to play sick games with the participants. Even though the games seem familiar at first, they take horrid turns later, making the participants either embrace death or compelling them to become a permanent part of the cult. Some similarly sick movies and series that are sure to give audiences a high adrenaline rush are Escape Room, Saw, and Squid Game, among others. How sick the series of events turns and the...

When we reviewed Trauma Therapy: Psychosis it was mentioned the fillm was a reworked version of The Vance Institute. A was originally shot with the intent of being released in black and white with a few colour scenes. Instead, it was released all in colour.
There was also new footage added featuring Tom Sizemore as the host of The Tom Sizemore Show interviewing Victor, one of the characters from the 2019 film Trauma Therapy. After Sizemore died this made a centrepiece of the film’s publicity as his last film despite there being several more of his films yet to be released.
This was shot and edited in without the participation of the original director, Lawrie Brewster who says he was assured he would have the final cut.

A sequel to the 2019 Trauma Therapy, which I remember as not too bad of a film with a lofty concept but sadly a sloppy execution leaving viewers with a middling taste. A sequel that I don’t think anyone was asking for but here we find ourselves. A sequel marred in a touch of controversy due to unhappy directors, overbearing producers, writers, actors and the untimely demise of the late Tom Sizemore.
Apparently, there are two cuts of this movie out in the wilderness. One with and one without Tom Sizemore and to be honest I can’t see there would be much of a difference considering the insignificance of his screen time. But… it is always nice to see the man on screen.

Directed by Gary Barth, and written by Tom Malloy and David Josh Lawrence, the film – a sequel to Trauma Therapy (2019) – sees Malloy return as Tobin Vance, a notorious self-help guru who has been exiled overseas. As the feds move in on his US operation,
Vance is building a new base in the remote outskirts of Kirkcaldy, Scotland. There, his stoic assistant Elizabeth (Hannah New), along with former student John (David Josh Lawrence), recruit a hopeful new group of lost souls for an intensive retreat to solve their deep-seated problems.
The film also features Pirates of the Caribbean’s Vince Lozano, Jamie Scott Gordon, Gordon Holliday, and Megan Tremethick. Sizemore appears as himself, the host of a Larry King-like TV talk show.

It’s been almost three decades since “Scatman (Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop)” — a novelty dance track featuring rapid, part-rapped, part-scatted and mostly nonsensical rhymes — shot to the top of music charts around the world, especially in Europe. Now, the man behind the song is getting the biopic treatment.
John Larkin — better known by his stage name Scatman John — passed away from cancer in 1999 at the age of 57 — just five years after his most famous track was first released. But international production banner Trick Candle Productions has acquired the rights to his life story and is developing Scatman, set to chronicle the musician’s “wild life and positive influence.”
Written by Stephen Basilone (Community, The Goldbergs) and Annie Mebane (The Goldbergs, Shrinking), the film — which will include unparalleled access to the entire Scatman music library, as well as private home videos — will detail Larkin’s struggles with being a lifelong stutterer, bullying, abuse at home,...

Tom Malloy directs and stars as Jack, a divorced ballroom dance fan, who keeps missing Jill, also a dance fan, by minutes in this good-natured film
Written and directed by its star Tom Malloy, this low-budget comedy is likably offbeat, full of tiny kinks in every sense, with mildly surprising plot twists and supporting characters who are into threesomes, S&m, and so on. But it’s also fully conventional in that like the vast majority of romcoms it sets out to assemble a heterosexual couple and eventually succeeds. The core romance is sutured when Malloy’s Jack and Briana Evigan’s Jill, two ordinary normcore singletons who both love proper ballroom dancing and swing, finally get to dance together at the climax. Honestly, it’s so brazenly obvious in following every rule of genre that it’s barely a spoiler to reveal it: the fun is in how they get there.

So you have a script you’re excited about putting into production, and you’re absolutely sure that any financier who reads it is going to almost immediately fund your movie. Then you start pitching it to people only to find out that everyone else isn’t quite as excited about your script as you are. Well, you’re not alone.
Raising capital to shoot a movie can sometimes feel like you’re trying to split atoms. But thanks to Tom Malloy, filmmaker/actor and author of the bestselling book "Bankroll: A New Approach to Financing Feature Films," your script can be made into a movie.

Love N' Dancing
Starring Amy Smart, Tom Malloy, and Billy Zane
Directed by Robert Iscove
Rated PG-13
Movies like Love N' Dancing are a dime a dozen. Regardless of the highlights, and there are a couple, you've seen so many movies aiming for the exact same target that it's hard for this one to stand out. Worse, the film feels like it's Ok with its mediocrity. The acting's derivative without being distracting, the story's only so-so, and the depths are pretty shallow.
Low budget films face some huge hurdles, no doubt about it, but it would be easier to form a connection with a movie made outside the system if it didn't resemble a movie made within the system several times a year.
Jake (writer Tom Malloy) is a world-class ballroom dancer. He's won some team dancing awards. But because of a broken romantic relationship with his dance partner, Jake...
