One of the many great things about Arrow and its various sister series is that not only have they introduced us to more well known heroes like the Flash and Green Arrow himself, but they’ve also brought obscure characters such as the Elongated Man and Firestorm to the mainstream. But with the DC Universe being so expansive, there are obviously many others who’ve yet to join the party.
Of course, the two superheroes we’re discussing today have more so been on the wishlists of diehard comic book readers – or those who’ve seen them on one of several animated series – but we have to admit that they’d be fine additions to the Arrowverse, regardless.
To date, Booster Gold has been a stranger to the live action realm, barring a memorable guest role on Smallville. Though, in recent years, it’s been said that Warner Bros. have...

The sheer number of games in the Mega Man franchise is positively mind-boggling: the main-line series alone spans a total of 10 titles, but then there are the hand-held spin-offs, the Mega Man X and Mega Man Zero lines, the 3D Mega Man Legends games, and dozens more besides.

Gwyneth Paltrow is mixing the old with the new!
The actress Instagrammed a photo of her ex-husband, Chris Martin, alongside her fiance, Brad Falchuk, on Sunday. She added the caption, "Sunday brunch," as well as the hashtag "#modernfamily" to the photo.
Paltrow, 45, was formerly married to the Coldplay frontman for 11 years before the two split in 2014. The exes have remained amicable, co-parenting their two children together, 13-year-old daughter Apple and 11-year-old son Moses. As for American Horror Story executive producer Falchuk, 46, he was also previously married to Suzanne Falchuk, whom he shares two kids with -- Isabella and Brody.
The actress has kept her relationship and engagement with Falchuk low profile, and a source told Et that the couple has actually been engaged for a year, but kept it secret.
Meanwhile, Paltrow and Martin seem to have figured out the secret to co-parenting amicably after divorce. This past year, the Oscar winner sat down with Et to talk...

Fall is upon us, and with it a fresh new crop of Netflix movies to curl up with when the weather starts to turn. Next month’s most exciting addition to the streaming service is “Mudbound,” the Southern World Ward II epic from up-and-comer-turned-force-to-be-reckoned-with Dee Rees. Netflix sealed the biggest deal of this year’s Sundance Film Festival when it paid a whopping $12.5 million for “Mudbound,” setting a high bar for the drama. Balancing out the heavier fare are classic comedies like “Men In Black” and “Scary Movie,” as well as “Field of Dreams” and “42” for the baseball lovers.
The fresh crop also includes a bevy of critically acclaimed documentaries, such as “Eventual Salvation,” “Chasing Trane: The John Coltrane Documentary,” and “Cuba and the Cameraman.” Jim Carrey’s creative process gets a deep dive in “Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond,” which includes never-before-seen behind the scenes footage from Milos Forman...

Adrian Chase is on a mission to destroy Oliver Queen, but will he be able to do so with his name all over the media?
That was the question presented to viewers at the close of Arrow Season 5 Episode 18.
Below, TV Fanatics Robin Harry, Kathleen Wiedel, Steve Ford and Jim Garner discuss Oliver bringing Anatoly in to fight, Adrian evading the law and Katie Cassidy's return to the series as Black Siren.
What did you think of Oliver turning to Anatoly?
Robin: It was a terrible decision; no good could ever come from the Mayor doing deals with the Russian Mafia (or any mafia). That said, I understand the context of the decision, how broken Oliver was.
He came out of that encounter with Prometheus feeling like a soulless monster, unsure of his own conscience. So it makes sense that he would do things in contempt of his own morality.

Following X-Men: Apocalypse, where is the broader X-Men universe across films, TV and comics?
For much of the 80s and 90s, the X-Men were Marvel’s #1 franchise, propelled to greatness by top-flight creators like Chris Claremont, John Byrne, Louise Simonson and Jim Lee. By 1997, one single X-Men title (Uncanny X-Men) had grown into a family of 8 books – Uncanny X-Men, X-Men, Wolverine, X-Force, X-Factor, Cable, Generation X and Excalibur – and it’s no surprise that X-Men became one of Marvel’s first blockbuster movies, in 2001.
But times change. Claremont, the architect of the X-Men’s success and the man who developed many of the franchise’s greatest stories, has recently spoken about how the X-Men’s gradual decline has “nothing to do with comic sales [and] everything to do with the fact that the film rights are controlled by a rival corporation.”
But is he correct? And if so,...

While your experience may differ, the amount of remasters and collections we have seen in this generation of consoles has always been a point of contention and subject of conversation, at least in my group of friends and peers. I myself go back and forth on this topic all the time. For one, I would like to see companies allocating more resources towards newer games, rather than simply rehashing older titles, many of which I have in my personal collection. On the other hand, a few of these remasters and re-releases are notable for making it much easier to actually get your hands on certain games (Grim Fandango Remastered comes to mind). Furthermore, some of these titles are merely meant to tide us over until a new entry in a series releases, such as the newly released Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, or the upcoming Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.

The sequel to Alice in Wonderland has started filming in England; the sequel will be directed by James Bobin (Muppets Most Wanted, a lot of Ali G stuff), and is officially called Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass. The first Wonderland excursion took in over $1 billion at the worldwide box office, so I’m surprised it took this long.
As per the press release, Through the Looking Glass “revisits Lewis Carroll’s beloved stories with an all-new new tale that travels back to Underland—and back in Time.” The confirmed new cast includes Sacha Baron Cohen and Rhys Ifans. The returning cast includes Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Mia Wasikowska and voice performances by Stephen Fry, Toby Jones, Alan Rickman, Michael Sheen and Timothy Spall.

At long last, the sequel to Disney’s massively successful, if narratively weak, Alice in Wonderland is starting to roll cameras, with James Bobin replacing Tim Burton in the director’s chair. It took a suprisingly long time for this next chapter of the planned franchise to get off the ground, considering the first film broke $1 billion at the box office, but a press release indicates that filming is now underway.
Officially titled Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass, the follow-up finds the original actors returning to their roles, with a bevy of new stars joining both the live-action and voice casts. What the sequel is exactly about is still foggy, but the story is said to “revisit Lewis Carroll’s beloved stories with an all-new new tale that travels back to Underland—and back in Time.”

Disney met with some success in their live-action version of Alice in Wonderland (with Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter), and since the film released, talk of a sequel has been on-going. Disney announced cameras have started rolling with a new cast list confirming both old and new members of the cast coming to the production.

Midsomer Murders is back on Acorn DVD with three all-new mysteries that debuted in the UK last year. If you haven’t been keeping up to speed with the long-running drama then you should know that these three stories feature Neil Dudgeon as John Barnaby rather than John Nettles as his cousin Tom. While the identity of the principal investigator has changed fairly recently, it seems like a long, long time since anyone other than Jason Hughes served as the top man’s sidekick. The good news is that Hughes does feature in the these three stories. The bad news is that this is the last you’ll see of him as he left the show in 2013.

Arrow has cast a new Count Vertigo. TVGuide reports that Peter Stormare has been cast as Werner Zytle, who takes over the Count Vertigo name.
I’ve been trying to wrap my head around the idea of Lifetime’s The Lottery. At least, I’ve been trying to imagine how a drama about a dark future for humanity would work on Lifetime. Here’s the first trailer for the series:
This season, the winner of So You Think You Can Dance will win a role on the Broadway revival of On the Town — provided the show is running when there’s an opening in the cast.
Fringe alum Georgina Haig has been picked to play Elsa in Once Upon a Time‘s Frozen Storyline.
Morning After observes that seeing Tori Spelling‘s Mystery Girls so soon after her raw reality show True Tori finished makes her the real life version of The Combeback.

Gareth Gates worries 'The Big Reunion' boy bands may corrupt 3T. The American group - which consists of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson's nephews Taj, Taryll and Tj - will tour the UK later this year with British bands such as Blue, 5ive, Damage and more, and 5th Story star Gareth admits it will be a culture shock for the well-spoken Americans to share a tour bus with the rowdy Brit bands. He exclusively told Bang Showbiz: ''I'm a little bit worried about them being on this tour. They're very ... no drinking, no swearing, no anything. They're going to...

'The Big Reunion' girl bands could be in line for their own tour after being snubbed from the upcoming boy band tour. 5ive singer Scott Robinson claims bands including Atomic Kitten, Girl Thing and Eternal may embark on their own tour following news that concert promoters have decided to cash in on strong ticket sales among women by launching a tour solely featuring boy bands such as Blue, 5ive, 3T, Damage, A1 and 5th Story. Natasha Hamilton has hit out at the decision to stage a boyband-only tour for The Big Reunion.
Yesterday (March 20), it was announced that boybands from both series of the ITV2 show will be heading out on tour later this year.
5ive, Blue, 911, A1, 3T, 5th Story and Damage will embark on a 13-date tour across the UK in October.
However, girl groups featured on the show will not be part of the tour, including Hamilton's Atomic Kitten, who appeared on The Big Reunion last year.
Speaking on Twitter, Hamilton accused the tour organisers of gender inequality, and said that she felt for the girl groups on this year's series - Eternal and Girl Thing.

Eternal, A1 and Damage will appear in the new series of 'The Big Reunion'. The ITV2 reality show has already helped to relaunch the careers of Blue, Atomic Kitten and Liberty X, and after the programme became a huge success, the acts headed out on tour. Gareth Gates, Adam Rickitt, Kavana, Another Level's Dane Bowers and Blazin' Squad's Kenzie, will also form a supergroup for the new series, 5th Story. If there's one thing multiplayer gaming is synonymous with, it's trolls. Swearing, racist, homophobic insults are part and parcel of the competitive multiplayer experience, while even profanity-laden uploaded gameplay recordings are becoming subject to it.
Microsoft is now taking to task the people who do the latter. The Verge reports that Ms has been temporarily banning Xbox One users after they allegedly uploaded videos laced with excessive profanity.
The new console uses a software to upload game recordings called Upload Studio. In a statement, Microsoft says that profanity in these videos violates the code of conduct for its Xbox Live service:
"We take code of conduct moderation via Upload Studio very seriously. We want a clean, safe, and fun environment for all users. Excessive profanity as well as other code of conduct violations will be enforced upon and result in suspension of some or all privileges on Xbox Live. We...

Nintendo doesn’t want to risk being overlooked during November’s big, next generation console launches, so it’s decided to release two of its heavy (albeit portable) hitters during the latter portion of the chilly month. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and Mario Party: Island Tour, to be exact. Both games will apparently launch on the same day (November 22), and will carry traditional $39.99 price tags.
If you’re wondering about Mario Party: Island Tour, it’s the same game that was announced back in April, during one of Nintendo’s Direct livestreams. At that time, it was known simply as Mario Party, but a subtitle has since been added. As a result, it’s probably safe to suggest that the game’s seven boards and Augmented Reality minigames will be tropical-themed.

ITV2 has released a trailer for the follow-up series to The Big Reunion.
The Big Reunion: On Tour follows 5ive, Blue, B*Witched, Liberty X, 911, The Honeyz and Atomic Kitten as they perform around the country following the success of the show.
The promo for the three-part series teases backstage bust-ups, parties and tears as viewers are given a behind-the-scenes look at the bands preparing for their shows nationwide.
The '90s and early '00s groups were originally meant to reform for a one-off show at Hammersmith Apollo, but an arena tour was organised when the concert sold out off the back of the series' popularity.
A second series of The Big Reunion featuring bands such as Eternal, East 17 and A1 is rumoured to be in the works.
The Big Reunion: On Tour starts Thursday, September 5 at 9pm on ITV2.

Beyoncé Knowles was shocked to get a surprise smooch from a very big fan in the middle of her Philadelphia concert on Thursday night - her husband Jay Z ran out on stage, threw his arms around her, and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek before disappearing behind the band. Beyoncé seemed taken aback by the sudden Pda, even as the audience and her dancers cheered and laughed. She later posted photos of the hilarious incident on her blog, and a fan video of the sweet moment popped up on YouTube. Beyoncé is well into the first Us leg of her Mrs. Carter World Tour, but is also making time to hang with family and friends. She kept a low-profile while attending Jay's Legends of the Summer show in NYC last week, and was able to enjoy some downtime in Miami with daughter Blue Ivy earlier this month.

The commercial features Beyoncé in a bikini and reveals her latest track, "Standing on the Sun." She hasn't performed the new song on tour, but we may get more new music in the coming months since she's reportedly working on an album that will be released later this year.
