This week on Riverdale, the gang enjoys an old-school night at the drive-in… while an important piece of the Jason Blossom puzzle packs up and leaves town.
Betty is still stewing over the revelation last week that Dilton spotted Miss Grundy’s car at the river on the Fourth of July. She remembers that Archie was “taking” “lessons” (ahem) from Grundy at the time, and starts to suspect them of having an affair. She confronts Archie about it in the Pop’s parking lot, and he blurts out, “Did Jughead tell you?...

So is Branson really a cat? How many lives does he have left?
I was definitely surprised to find him still alive on Scream Season 2 Episode 7 and surprised yet again to find him still alive at the end.
If he survives the fire, I'd be pretty darn impressed.

Not only is Branson still alive, but Ms. Lang was still holding on after being thrown over the stairs, as well. This killer is slacking, or falling asleep on the job, or something. He/she shouldn't be leaving victims alive all willy-nilly.
Okay, so Ms. Lang wasn't really his fault. He was interrupted before he could finish the job and carry out his original plan for Audrey. I'm not really sure what that was. Her theory made sense, but why did he lure Brooke to the school posing as Branson only to tell Audrey to come alone?...

Do you have a friend or relative who has to battle stammering? If so, a few thoughts.
The usual intro: hello! Welcome to our Geeks Vs Loneliness series, where each week we look at issues facing some of us, and try to come up with a few tips to help.
This week, we want to talk about stammering. Specifically, some tips if someone you know suffers from stammering.
So here we go.
The morning phone-in on Radio Five Live is really something special when it touches on an issue that rarely gets discussed, yet affects more people than you may think. Yesterday, Rachel Burden hosted an excellent phone-in on stammering, and this week’s Geeks Vs Loneliness is very much inspired by that.
What really interested me were the people who suffered with stammering, who rang in and talked about what they faced. Inevitably, there was quite a mix,...

Olivia de Havilland on Turner Classic Movies: Your chance to watch 'The Adventures of Robin Hood' for the 384th time Olivia de Havilland is Turner Classic Movies' “Summer Under the Stars” star today, Aug. 2, '15. The two-time Best Actress Oscar winner (To Each His Own, 1946; The Heiress, 1949) whose steely determination helped to change the way studios handled their contract players turned 99 last July 1. Unfortunately, TCM isn't showing any de Havilland movie rarities, e.g., Universal's cool thriller The Dark Mirror (1946), the Paramount comedy The Well-Groomed Bride (1947), or Terence Young's British-made That Lady (1955), with de Havilland as eye-patch-wearing Spanish princess Ana de Mendoza. On the other hand, you'll be able to catch for the 384th time a demure Olivia de Havilland being romanced by a dashing Errol Flynn in The Adventures of Robin Hood, as TCM shows this 1938 period adventure classic just about every month. But who's complaining? One the...

Who better than Tracee Ellis Ross to cover Essence's annual "Black Women in Hollywood" issue? In fact, the black-ish actress scored a double cover for March 2015! Striking two confident poses, Ellis Ross, 42, rocked a Byron Lars Beauty Mark dress and Sophia Webster pumps for the first cover. For the second cover, she modeled a Jay Godfrey dress and her own shoes. For the TV star, feeling beautiful is about more than dressing the part—it's about valuing her inner beauty. She hopes that by being true to herself, she'll inspire young women to embrace their perceived flaws. "I hope they look at me and think, 'That lady looks like she accepts herself,'" the actress explains. Ellis...

Kendrick Lamar dropped a new single, “i,” his first new song in two years and the first single off his upcoming sophomore album.
Kendrick Lamar Surprises With Feel-Good Single
Lamar, who made a splash last year when he called out every successful rapper on Big Sean’s “Control,” has now released a new song that’s all about self-confidence.
“He’s not a rapper, he’s a writer…And if you read between the lines, you’ll learn how to love one another, but you can’t do that…without loving yourself first,” a voice proclaims at the top of “i.”
Produced by Rahki, who worked on Lamar’s “Black Boy Fly,” “i” samples the Isley Brother’s “That Lady,” and has been well received among fans and critics.

Kendrick Lamar goes back in time in a couple of ways for his much-anticpated new single "i." It's the first solo release from the rapper since "good kid, m.A.A.d city" came along and blew minds two years ago (and about eights months since he was robbed of armfuls of Grammys). The intro sounds like it was ripped from the Civil Rights era in the late '60s, with an announcer hyping a speech from "Brother Kendrick Lamar." "He's not a rapper, he's a writer! He's a lover!" he says. "If you read in between the lines, we’ll learn to love one another. You can't do that without lovin' yourself..." Record scratch. Then a guitar-tittering Isley Brothers sample, from "That Lady," kicks in, teleporting the Compton writer star right into 1973. The Rahki-produced and Ali-mixed song keeps it light and fun from then on out, with Lamar keeping the positive vibe flowing.

Both of Lady Mary's suitors are back (her "desire of suitors," as Lady Cora says), with Gillingham have called off his engagement to Mabel. These two men have created such an interesting dynamic at the estate when they are there at the same time. As Lord Grantham wonders, "What kind of menage do they have going on?"
And Mary's not leading them on, per se, she's very up front about how she's not ready for a romance -- but it's kind of cute to see how flattered Mary is by the attention. And both of the men are utterly respectful of each other, which is also nice to see.

Previously on Teen Wolf, Derek Hale was so good at falling in love with ladies that he decided to fall in love with even more ladies. “I will chose a lady that I won’t have to murder while my uncle eats a package of Reese’s Peanut Butter cups,” he said to himself. “I will also choose a lady who will not lock my family inside my house and set it on fire.” So instead he chose a high school literature teacher who was turned on by open wounds and liked Celtic mythology and idioms and ritual murder. That lady killed half of Beacon Hills High School, kidnapped Sheriff Stilinski, and tried to strangle Lydia to death, but Lydia whooped and hollered like a banshee — because she is a banshee — and so she was saved.

So once again the designers have been thrown a curve ball. Gone are the two teams and in its place are teams of two. I was excited at first, the I remembered how much I hated it during the other seasons when the designers were forced to pair up. Indeed, this time was no different, for the simple fact that each pair didn't have have to present a cohesive look, and in fact, might as well have been working solo.
But we did learn a few things this week: Amanda is the sister of one of the guys in Maroon 5 who isn't Adam Levine, Daniel became a sweaty, almost-creepy hot mess on the runway when he was in danger of being eliminated, and the judges are full of crap. To be fair ... we already knew that last one.

Former Labor leader Mark Latham has won a finding against the Sunday Telegraph after the newspaper reported he intimidated an elderly swimming teacher.
The Australian Press Council has upheld his complaint that his children’s privacy was breached, and that the newspaper should have declared a conflict of interest over the fact that one of the swimming teachers at the pool on the day was the mother of journalist Jennifer Sexton, who wrote the story.

How I Met Your Mother 7.15: "The Burning Beekeeper" Review
With Marshall and Lily all settled in to their house in the ‘burbs, it was only a matter of time before How I Met You Mother creators Carter and Bays had the two throw a housewarming party to bring all their friends from the city out to Long Island.
Last night’s episode, the second new episode of 2012, “The Burning Beekeeper” did just that for a raucous (not really) house party that lasted all of five minutes. While overall the episode was somewhat lackluster and forgettable in that I only laughed out loud maybe twice, I really enjoyed the structure of how the story was set up. Moving from room to room to explain how the party became such a disaster, piece by piece, was a clever idea. However, I didn’t find anything that happened in any of these rooms all that entertaining.

They reveal that Dan agrees to give Serena the movie rights to his book on the condition that he gets to right the screenplay for it. Serena's boss Jane starts talking crazy, wanting to turn Dan's book movie into a musical movie.Needless to say, Dan doesn't like it. Meanwhile, Blair is busy bossing around her bridesmaids minions. Nate tries to convince a very reluctant Diana to take their relationship public. Lol!

On Saturday, “celebrity moms rallied to support safety for children” at The Red Carped Event Presented By Celebrity Spokes Moms and sponsored by Britax and Buick at The Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California. So, you know: Huh? Thank you, Celebrity Moms, I guess? Aaaaaanyway, a lot of famous people from soap operas showed up, which is Great for people who like soap operas. In fact, you might even recognize Michelle Stafford, Daytime Emmy Award-winning actress from The Young And The Restless. She looks great! Michelle Who? Exactly. That lady can win as many Emmys as she wants, but the Real star of this show is her daughter, Natalia Scout Lee, who is basically begging you to pinch her cheeks because, hello, That Face! We don’t quite know what her statement was at press time, but we imagine it was something like: “It’S So Hot Why Am...

Of course they did. How did we not predict this? When Jennifer Lopez and Bradley Cooper went out on a dinner date last night, we should’ve been all like “we know” as opposed to “Oh My God”! Bradley in our opinion is Hollywood’s Rico Suave. If there is anyone to usher in a lady into her newly single life, he’s the guy. That lady happens to be J.Lo — the only woman who, in our opinion, could make mincemeat out of guys like Brad. They.Must.Date.
The two went out on a “romantic” date to Per Se in New York and how awesome would it have been to be a fly on the wall around them? Do you think they talked about how pretty they are? They did, didn’t they!

Do you know Beth Ditto? She’s the frontwoman for the band The Gossip, and also a very good solo artist (“I Wrote The Book” = good stuff). She’s a big fan of Madonna (see the “Book” video) because, y’know, who isn’t? That lady did everything! And, of all people who try to pay tribute to The Queen of Pop, nobody seems to do it as well as Beth. For example, she performed “Vogue” at something called the Moscow Miller party, and you will wish you were there. Not to do that thing where the media applauds large women for their “curvy figures,” but kudos to Beth Ditto for obviously not giving a sh*t, and wearing underwear as she’s gobsmacked with pounds of glitter. Remember Madonna before she was a ‘roided-up children’s book author? That’s kind of what Beth Ditto is like. [via Ontd]...

Rhys Darby was a fan-favorite when he played the earnestly clueless Australia-hating band manager Murray on Flight of the Conchords, and the lovely Sasha Alexander has definitely made a name for herself with NCIS and Rizzoli & Isles. Still, will their presence be enough to garner a Friday night audience for TNT’s rom-com Coming & Going? Watch below as Darby’s clueless Ob/Gyn does his best to woo Alexander by pretending to be handicapped.
The cast and the silly premise gives this one some potential as a cute and harmless little guilty pleasure. While we’re not exactly exploring new thematic territory here,...

Thanks to my long history of watching him on The Bachelorette, and The Bachelor, and Dancing with the Stars, and the Internet, I am fascinated by, and terrified of, Jake Pavelka. He is like a tiger in the zoo. Nice to look at, not much going on upstairs, and most of the time, he's tame. (And even then he's enthralling to watch.) But now and then, when his true nature takes hold, he'll snap, terrifying and sometimes destroying the lives of those around him. And if I ever saw him in person without a thick plate of glass between us, I'd probably scream and pee myself.
Thus the question of A) whether to watch Famous Food, and B) whether to document everything Jake Pavelka does on Famous Food, is a double-decker no-brainer. Everything his unpredictable brain does and says, or doesn't do and doesn't say, is of automatic interest to me.

When Betty White calls you out on your bulls—, be very careful about how you choose to respond. Don’t cuss her out, don’t engage her in a battle of repartee and don’t act like a smart ass because, really, would you want to take on Betty White? We know we wouldn’t. That lady will demolish you. So when Betty insulted Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen, we were wondering whether either of those two celebrities would be smart about it and let it go.
Betty had told the Daily Mail, “They party too much, don’t learn their lines, are unprofessional, and they grumble about everything. I think they are terribly ungrateful.” Sheen’s kept his mouth shut so far, but LiLo couldn’t resist responding. When E! told her about Betty’s scathing comments, Lindsay said, “Wow.I’ve always been a fan of hers. It...

It has been three months since ABC’s Private Practice (Thursdays at 10/9c) dared to go there by subjecting Dr. Charlotte King to one of primetime TV’s most graphically depicted rapes. As in real life, the healing process has been a painfully slow one for Charlotte (played by KaDee Strickland), though the ABC drama’s most recent outing let slip a sliver of sunshine into her world when she and Cooper found themselves able to be intimate again.
Charlotte’s darkest day, however, is revisited this week when unforeseen circumstances bring her face-to-face with her attacker, Lee McHenry (played...

In all likelihood, you have never seen anyone dance to the song Scat Man. But after you see this, you will realize that there is only one way to dance to Scat Man and that this woman nailed it. That lady!!! Eat your heart out, much more internet famous dancing Chinese guy. This is from Sky1′s Got to Dance. Sky1, I assume, is the television station for the astronauts in the International Space Station because why else would you name it that. “Houston, we have a dance party.” Thanks, The Daily What.

Last night, Moviefone was lucky enough to attend the world premiere of 'Burlesque' in Hollywood, where we chatted with the stars of the highly anticipated movie-musical.
Everyone gushed about Christina Aguilera's debut performance, though the lady herself told us that she'd never give up music for movies. Meanwhile, we chatted with her co-stars, her music producer Tricky Stewart -- everyone but Cher, that is.
Red carpets can be crazy, what with the tons of reporters jockeying for position, stars arriving late and running in to the movie that is just about to start, waving as we scream their name. After being rushed past dozens of reporters by her handlers, Cher yelled, "I'll be back! I promise!" I can tell you from experience that this almost never happens. Tony Curtis, who has appeared in over 100 films since the late 1940s, has died at the age of 85.
A representative for his daughter Jamie Lee Curtis confirmed that the legendary actor had passed away. No further details were given.
Probably best known for his roles in Some Like It Hot and The Defiant Ones, Curtis was a versatile actor who could play both comedic and dramatic characters brilliantly.
Although Oscar-nominated for his leading role in The Defiant Ones, Curtis has said he was disappointed at never winning the gold statuette, however he was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Curtis was married six times, his first wife was Jamie’s mother Janet Leigh. He married his current wife Jill Vandenberg Curtis in 1998.
Below, our top Tony picks:

Ok, let’s get straight to the point! Never Forget is the upcoming movie, loosely based on the documentary On Moral Grounds, which depicts one woman’s quest to reimburse Holocaust survivors who were swindle out of their heir’s insurance policies by a European insurance company.
Guess who has reportedly been offered the lead role? That lady from our title, lovely Sandra Bullock.
Of course, there is no guarantee that Bullock will take the role, since, let us remind you, she has recently passed on New Line’s Our Wild Life, about an animal conservationist in Kenya who devoted her life to preventing the extinction of elephants, as well as Disney’s The Odd Life about a family whose lives are touched by an unexpected child.
Do you think this kind of story is something she could be interested in?

This week’s Wamg Top 10 is having a look at all the on and off-screen couples of Hollywood. The Drew Barrymore/Justin Long romantic-comedy, Going The Distance, comes out next Friday on September 3rd, so we thought we’d give it a go with our list of favorite “Work and Play Couples.” Let us know what you think and who you would put on the list in the comments section below.
Honorable Mention: Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz
Lucille Ball was a rising star under contract to Rko Studios when she was cast as the female lead in the film version of the Broadway smash Too Many Girls. Prior to the start of filming she was introduced to the young Cuban singer who had taken New York City by storm, Desi Arnaz. Stories from several sources in that Rko office said that sparks flew when they locked eyes on each other.

Ozzy Osbourne wants to play his mother in the film of his life. The heavy metal legend's biography "I Am Ozzy" is being adapted for the big screen, and although he is reluctant to appear in it himself he would like have an unusual cameo.
"I don't really want to be in it. At least I'm hoping I won't," he told Germany's FHM magazine. "Although I wouldn't mind a cameo - that would be fun. I could play my mother or Lemmy from Motorhead!"
Ozzy has previously revealed who he wants to play him in the biopic, Hollywood heartthrob Johnny Depp. The 61-year-old music star, who is from Birmingham, England, said, "Johnny Depp is much better looking than me, but he was all set to be me in the film. That would be good. But I'd also like an unknown guy from Birmingham to get the part."

The youngest member and former bassist of the Isley Brothers, Marvin Isley, died on Sunday. Although his spokesperson did not release a cause of death, The Washington Post reports that the musician died from complications related to diabetes. In the 90s, both Isley’s legs were amputated following the diagnosis of the disease. According to ABC News, he stopped performing in 1996. Although Isley joined the group in 1973, many years after some of the Isley Brothers’ most recognizable hits—”Shout,” “Twist and Shout,” and “It’s Your Thing”—he did play bass on the popular remake of “That Lady.” According to the Post, “[t]he infectious song, with Marvin Isley's kinetic bass grooves and Ernie Isley's stunning, Hendrix-influenced guitar work, gave notice of how mainstream soul was changing under the influence of Hendrix and such funk bands as Mandrill and Parliament/Funkadelic.”...

It's a sad, sad day here at MTV News. Even as we all recover from last night's Movie Awards, we're forced to confront the cold, harsh reality of another talented artist leaving us too soon. Marvin Isley, The Isley Brothers' bass player, died yesterday in Chicago at the age of 56.
The Isley Brothers were one of the premiere pop funk-soul groups of the '70s, responsible for a range of hits that include "It's Your Thing," "That Lady," "Between the Sheets" (which Notorious B.I.G. famously sampled for Big Poppa) and, of course, "Shout," among many others. They've released more than 30 albums since "Shout!" debuted in 1959. What's more, many of those songs have gone on to put in memorable movie appearances. I've embedded my very favorite, a true classic, after the jump. R.I.P., Marvin... you will be missed.
To be fair, this rendition of "Shout" comes from Otis Day & the Knights,...

Marvin Isley, bass player for the legendary funk band the Isley Brothers, died of undisclosed causes in Chicago on Monday (June 7) at age 56, according to the Chicago Tribune's ChicagoNow.com blog.
Marvin Isley was not a member of the original band comprising older brothers O'Kelly Jr., Rudolph and Ronald, who scored hits with the songs "Twist and Shout," "It's Your Thing" and "Shout." Marvin joined the group in 1973 along with brother Ernie and brother-in-law Chris Jasper.
The new six-member lineup debuted with 1973's 3+3, which contained such Am soul classics as "That Lady, Pt. 1 & 2" and "What It Comes Down To."
The group continued to have chart success throughout the decade with hit songs like "Fight the Power" and "Between the Sheets," many of which were co-written by Marvin and the other two younger members.

If you’re like us, you watched last night’s wrenching Grey’s Anatomy finale wondering: Where the heck did all this gunman’s rage come from? Well, it began among much sexier storylines such as Alex’s secret brother showing up, Callie pining for a baby, and April crushing on Derek. In fact, you’ll see from this clip (from the April 1 episode “Sympathy for the Parents”) that April and Lexie could barely wait to bolt from the room when future hospital-shooter Gary Clark was getting the news about his wife’s euthanasia wishes — and it wasn’t even...

You might recall a review I wrote last week for a documentary called Orgasm Inc, which was essentially how the drug industry was inventing and defining female sexual dysfunction in order to create a market for Lady Viagra. That Lady Viagra has not hit the market in the United States yet, but it's evident that drug companies are still planting the seeds of female sexual dysfunction.

In an interview with BBC America, Steve Carell conceded that his days were numbered at "The Office." "[I have a] contract through next season," he said, and was asked if he'd stay on after. "I don't think so. I think that'll probably be my last year."
My guess, actually, is that next year will be the last of "The Office," too (really, seven years is long enough). Tina Fey and Steve Carell can make Date Night sequels for decades.
Likewise, word is that Patrick Dempsey doesn't want to stay on "Grey's Anatomy" past next season, either. I think somehow the world will survive. Although, Dempsey: You just went through basically two decades of obscurity. Are you confident enough in your post-...
