Bram Inscore, a songwriter, producer, and performer who worked with such artists as Beck and BTS, has died by suicide, according to his family. He was 41-years-old and no other details were made available.
“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Bram Inscore, who ended his life after a hard fought battle with depression,” read a statement from his family, wife and friends. “Bram was a ‘musician’s musician,’ a producer, composer and multi-in,strumentalist, who lent his talents to artists such as Beck, Troye Sivan, and BTS. Selfless as a human and generous as a collaborator, he ingeniously served the music but never his own ego. Deep compassion and dry wit were embedded into everything he did, though he never sought praise or approval. He was truly a unique spirit and though his soul has left his body, it will live forever in his music.

Adam Anders has been around the block a couple of times. He was the lead executive music producer on Fox’s musical/comedy/drama series “Glee.” He also served as a producer on “The Prom” for director Ryan Murphy that featured Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman and James Corden for Netflix. He’s a three-time Grammy nominee who has sold over 100 million records and worked with artists ranging from the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus to Andy Grammer and CeeLo Green. His music has been heard in film productions including “High School Musical,” “The Wedding Planner,” “Captain Underpants” and “Rock of Ages.”
But lately, Anders has been focusing his attention on a different project: “Journey to Bethlehem,” a live-action Christmas musical retelling of the classic story of Mary and Joseph and the birth of Jesus that’s currently playing in theaters in limited release this holiday season. Its lone big name is Oscar nominee Antonio Banderas,...

Ryan Seacrest, through his nonprofit, the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, has opened his 14th Seacrest Studio inside Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City. The family run foundation led by Seacrest’s sister, Meredith Seacrest Leach, who serves as executive director and chief operating officer, opened its first studio inside Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in 2010 as an outlet for pediatric patients to experiment with radio broadcasting and learn new media during their hospital stay.
“Parents tell us, ‘My daughter has cancer; there’s not much she looks forward to when she’s in the hospital, but every day at 2 o’clock when they’re going to play bingo in the studio, she can’t wait to go do it, and it takes her mind off of the treatment she’s getting,’” says Seacrest, who recently signed a three-year deal with iHeartMedia to continue hosting and producing across its iHeartRadio platforms.

Exclusive: After sellout stadium shows all over the continent this year, and a lot of attention at a bunch of recent NFL games, Taylor Swift will be literally stopping traffic in Los Angeles on Wednesday. There will be road closures and more in the Fairfax District later today as the City of Angels braces for the world premiere of the superstar’s concert movie Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour at The Grove.
Several sources tell Deadline that the upscale, Rick Caruso-owned outdoor mall will be closed down all day today to prepare for the event, with Swift heavily buzzed to put in an appearance.
Not often are big Hollywood movie premieres held at the 600,000-square-foot property, but the key reason why The Eras Tour is making its big splash there is due to the fact that the movie’s distributor, AMC, has one of its key LA cinema hubs onsite,...

13 January 2023 – Emmy Award winner and acclaimed multi-platinum singer/songwriter Andy Grammer today released his brand-new song “These Tears” via Giant Soul/S-Curve/Hollywood Records/Universal Music Canada. Written by Grammer alongside Jake Torrey and Tone, “These Tears” chronicles the trials and tribulations of loss and gives fans another taste of Grammer’s emotional yet uplifting storytelling.
“Letting go…is hard work. I actually thrive with most kinds of hard work. Tell me how many miles to run, I’ll do it. Tell me how many songs I have to write to chase excellence, I’ll crush it. Hard work and achievement have always been my comfort zone,” said Grammer. “But letting go isn’t something you can achieve, crush, or master. It’s more of a slow burn, an acceptance, a daily release in small doses. If you are letting something or someone go at the moment, I feel you,...

Seconds after hitting the red carpet outside NeueHouse Hollywood on Thursday night, Jennifer Garner stopped posing momentarily to ask the row of photographers a quick question (or two).
“What do you think? Is she doing a good job?” Garner asked, referring to the woman standing to her left, power publicist and Lede Company co-founder and co-ceo Meredith O’Sullivan. Garner then turned to face O’Sullivan, adjusted the lapels of her black tuxedo jacket and faux-straightened her white dress shirt, like a publicist might do for a client ahead of a gala like the one about to unfold.
The gesture perfectly telegraphed how the tables turned for the special event as Garner showed up to honor O’Sullivan, her longtime publicist and “dear friend,” someone used to shining a light on her A-list clients, not the other way around.

Andy Grammer reflected on his journey to discovering self-worth over recent years.
Ahead of World Mental Health Day on Oct. 10, the “Keep Your Head Up” singer discussed the importance of therapy, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I went down hard. I don’t know how your pandemic was. Mine was not good,” Grammer told podcast host Janine Rubenstein during Friday’s episode of “People Every Day”. “In hindsight, it became something that I’m grateful for, but I think for a lot of us, it just really showed us where we get our self-worth from.”
The 38-year-old singer continued, explaining: “If you got all your self-worth from others or from work or not from yourself, the place that it should be coming from, then the pandemic was really, really tough for you. And by you, I mean me. Wow. A hundred percent me.

“American Idol” auditions continued with the fifth episode of Season 20 on Monday, March 21. This installment of the ABC reality TV competition saw judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie wrapping up initial tryouts and handing out the final Platinum Ticket to Hollywood.
So who was the best of the night? And did these aspiring stars choose the right songs? Below I rank each hopeful from the least impressive (but with room to grow) to a possible Season 20 frontrunner. I also throw in a song suggestion or artist I’d love to hear them cover.

Below are my rankings for all 10 Hollywood-bound singers from worst to best:
10. Saylor: Nobody should go through what this contestant has so I sincerely hope that her father sees this audition and reconnects with her. Saying that, nerves played a factor in this audition despite a perfect song choice for her voice.

Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not watched the Nov. 9 episode of “The Bachelorette.”

But before then, there were two one-on-ones and a group date in the episode.
The first one-on-one went to Martin Gelbspan, where he joined Bachelorette Michelle Young at the BMW performance center and spent the afternoon doing stunts and racing. All week long, “America’s Got Talent” viewers have been making their predictions for which of the semifinalists from Group 2 will be advancing to the finale, and the results are in. The five acts most likely to get the green light during Wednesday’s results show are: singer Brooke Simpson, comedian Josh Blue, quick-change artist Lea Kyle, chorale group Northwell Nurse Choir and opera girl Victory Brinker. Do you agree or disagree with our users’ “AGT” odds? Be sure to make your predictions before the September 8 episode airs live on NBC.
At the other end of the spectrum, our “America’s Got Talent” odds-makers predict these six acts will be headed home this week: singing group 1aChord, dance group ChapKidz, comedian Kabir Singh, mentalist Peter Antoniou, acrobatic trio Rialcris and unicyclists UniCircle Flow. Since there are no more wildcards, being cut in this round means an act is out of the competition for good.
