Seeking Sister Wife fans wonder how many children Becky and Justin Ryan have, and they seem very confused about it. However, a discussion about the TLC couple went down some deep rabbit holes. Certainly, they seem like an unusual couple compared to the rest of the cast.
Ssw Becky And Justin Ryan Campaigned For Office
A lot of TLC fans didn’t know that Justin’s full name is Justin Ryan Cunneen. That news emerged in early April when fans discovered that he ran for Governor of Texas. Notably, his campaign didn’t mention his leanings toward polygamy. Neither did it mention that Becky’s stepfather, Tony Alamo was jailed for marrying children, and Mark Cunneen, Justin’s dad was possibly part of his cult. What most of them do know, is that Justin and Becky married very young, when she was only 15.

7 Little Johnstons’ fans have a soft spot for Anna Johnston, but is she showing a meaner side with her sister, Elizabeth “Liz” Johnston? For some TLC fans. it seemed that she gave Liz a kind of slap in the face for falling pregnant with baby Leighton Drew.
Anna Johnston Seems To Have Turned Out Successful
Through the years, Amber and Trent seemed overly harsh with Anna, and it annoyed fans. While Liz seemed unable to do any wrong, Anna seemed unable to do anything right. So, TLC fans slammed her parents for having favorites. While some of it might be drama made up for the TLC show, most people detected unhappiness in Anna for many years. And, the huge fight in the kitchen seemed real enough.

Through The Night. Delphine Girard: 'The characters stuck with me and so for months after the screening of the short film, I was like, but what would happen to those characters?' Delphine Girard’s debut film Through The Night expands on her short Sister to explore the aftermath of a rape. Beginning with a tense night-time scene in which Aly (Selma Alaoui), who has just been assaulted, is in contact with an emergency call centre as her attacker Dary (Guillaume Duhesme) drives the car. On the other end of the phone is Anna (Veerle Baetens). Soon the film will split into a three-part character study that holds the effects of the slow-moving legal system up to the light while also calling in to question society’s expectations of “good victimhood”. We caught up with Girard after the film’s premiere at San Sebastian Film Festival to talk about its themes.

While most of Meri’s fans and followers were hopeful that Amos — a 55-year-old resident of Utah who has been married and divorced four times — was a good fit for her, one of his ex-wives claims he had ulterior motives in mind when he began dating the Sister Wives star.

A Sinner of the Deep Sea
By Akihito Tomi
The ocean covers about 70 percent of the earth's surface—a whole world, yet unknown to humanity… And in its depths, a nation, thousands of meters beneath the waves. There, the mermaid Jo has been whiling away her days in peace. But that tranquility is shattered when her friend Ryuu is locked away for breaking the gravest of undersea laws: that humans must never know of the world below.
But why would Ryuu let the secret slip? And who did she tell? The curtain rises on Jo's adventure to save her friend—and on her love..!?

Season 18 of TLC’s Sister Wives documented the explosive takedown of Kody Brown’s family. Once hailed as a beacon for a functioning polygamist union, the Brown family patriarch has come under fire for his behavior toward three out of four of his wives. Subsequently, fans call his wife Robyn the “architect” of the family’s demise.
Robyn Brown is painted as the ‘fundamentally loyal’ wife of Kody Brown, but is she something more?
Throughout seasons 17 and 18 of Sister Wives, Robyn Brown has been put on a pedestal by Kody Brown. He praised his wife for being “fundamentally loyal” to the cameras and wives Janelle and Christine.
However, fans see Robyn as something more than the woman Kody claims was the only one he truly loved. They see her as the “architect” of the Brown family’s demise, sharing their thoughts on Reddit.
“You understand. You were the architect,” wrote one fan.

The melancholic, ethereal imagery of Kyryl Volovych has embedded itself in Dn’s mind since we saw his emotive music video for Entely’s Prosa earlier this year. So it’s an absolute delight to be featuring him once more, this time for his visualisation of Brighton-based psychedelic rock outfit ĠENN’s The Sister Of. A time-bending narrative of sorts, the story follows a young woman who ventures across dimensions before stumbling into a lone castle where time has frozen. It’s a really fascinating video that recalls the work of Tarkovsky or Bergman in its depiction of a bleak reality that features moments of surrealism and science fiction. Dn caught up with Volovych and his Dp Borya Borysov to talk over how they got in contact with ĠENN through Dn’s social channels, why they kept their fingers crossed for a lack of light when shooting, and the shared...

Few things are as scary as nuns, draped in their signature black garb, dishing out vengeance and striking terror into the hearts of all. We’ve seen this eerie trope in films like The Nun, The Crucifixion, and The Blackcoat’s Daughter, among others. Yet, Sister Death sets itself apart from its contemporaries by delivering a narrative that doesn’t rely on cheap jump scares.
In this movie, it’s not the typical ghosts, spirits, or statues crying blood that are the primary sources of your fear. Instead, it’s the backstory that connects them all, leaving you with goosebumps. Sister Death, Paco Plaza’s latest film, is a feast for the eyes, especially for those who appreciate a horror film that strikes a perfect balance between a gripping narrative and spine-tingling scares. He understands that true horror lies not in the fleeting shocks but in the lingering sense of unease...

The legendary Nile Rodgers brought a whole lot of funk to the NPR office for the latest iteration of their Tiny Desk Concert series.
Rodgers’ six-song setlist serves as a useful reminder of just how ubiquitous his music is. He and his Chic bandmates kicked things off with their 1978 disco classic “Le Freak,” the whoops and hollers of the vocalists meshing with those from the equally-energized audience.
“Obviously, every song we’re gonna play today is a song I wrote,” Rodgers said between songs with a smile, laughing off the braggadocio of the statement. But bragging is absolutely called for when you’ve written tunes like Diana Ross’ “I’m Coming Out,” Sister Sledge’s “We Are Family,” and Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky,” all of which Rodgers also performed at the Tiny Desk.

Having already proven their bona fides with both 1986’s Evol and 1987’s Sister, Sonic Youth delivered their most cohesive, accessible album to date with their 1988 opus Daydream Nation. Originally inspired by the ferocity of hardcore punk, the cerebral art rock of acts like the Velvet Underground and Public Image Ltd., and the avant-garde compositions of Glenn Branca, the album saw the four New York bohos sweeten their no-wave edge with anthemic songwriting.
Thurston Moore and Lee Ranaldo’s detuned guitars strum plaintively and hypnotically as Daydream Nation slowly shakes itself awake on “Teen Age Riot.” Bassist-singer Kim Gordon channels the Stooges’s eerie chants on 1969’s “We Will Fall” and even cribs from its lyrics: “Spirit, desire/We will fall,” she mumbles before the song’s dual-guitar riff tears the track apart.

Viewers of TLC’s Sister Wives have sounded the alarm regarding the behavior of Robyn Brown, Kody Brown’s legal wife, throughout the series 18 seasons. They claim she “spoils” and “ruins everything she touches” within the once-united polygamist clan. What are the reasons behind fan disdain? Here are the details.
Robyn Brown has been vilified by ‘Sister Wives’ fans
Robyn Brown married Kody Brown in 2010. She was the first wife added to his polygamist family in 16 years, joining Meri, Janelle, and Christine Brown. From the start, Robyn was painted as Kody’s favorite.
However, many fans who have rewatched earlier episodes found instances claiming Robyn manipulated Kody. Also, he appears to spend most of his time with Robyn, who, according to Kody, “is fundamentally loyal.”
Sister Wives fans criticized Robyn’s actions on Reddit. “Robyn is like the coworker in the office who always [expletive] up, is rude to everyone, and does more work.

With their distinctive religious attire and the unwavering devotion required of their lives, nuns have provided the inspiration for some of the scariest characters in horror cinema. It’s hard to deny that, sometimes, there’s something vaguely eerie about them. Nuns have come to occupy a marked sub-section of the horror genre, cementing their place as a nerve-racking staple. Nuns have been in horror movies since the 1920s, with the silent movie Haxan. In the 1970s, a sub-genre known as Nunsploitation briefly emerged. This article covers 10 of the scariest nuns in the history of cinema. 1. Sister Jeanne – The...

It’s late at night on the road and the breathing is too ragged for this to be a normal car journey for the man and the woman in the front seats. Aly (Selma Alaoui) is the passenger, on the phone, and we soon realise she’s not chatting to her sister, as the driver Dary (Guillaume Duhesme) thinks, but to an emergency call centre. At the other end of the line is Anna (Veerle Baetens), who quickly works out this is a call for help. Using this springboard, which was also crucial to Delphine Girard’s Oscar-nominated short film Sister, the first-time feature director allows her film to split into a triple portrait of each of these characters in the aftermath of the event, to see what happens, not just in the days after but the weeks and months after that.

Thirty-eight years ago today, Mr. Snider went to Washington. A new graphic novel, Dee Snider: He’s Not Gonna Take It (due out Nov. 21), illustrates the fateful day the Twisted Sister frontman spoke in defense of free speech, alongside Frank Zappa and John Denver, at a Senate hearing regarding placing content-warning labels on album covers. Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello penned a foreword for the book paying tribute to Snider’s heroic spirit.

When Matt Groening's and David X. Cohen's animated sci-fi sitcom "Futurama" was still in the earliest days of its development, voice actor Billy West was shown drawings of the characters he might be playing on the show. When he was shown a picture of Dr. Zoidberg, the impoverished lobster physician at Planet Express, West figured the arthropod's voice would sound muffled and jowly due to the tendrils of meat hanging off his face. West reached deep into his mental vault of celebrities he could imitate and came out with two obscurities: Dr. Zoidberg was a combination of George Jessel — a Vaudeville comedian and longtime Toastmaster of Ceremonies at multiple political gatherings in the '40s and '50s — and Canadian actor Lou Jacobi from "Irma la Douce" and "Arthur."

Girls' trip - don't text. Gabrielle Union and Tia Mowry seem to be having the ultimate vacation in the South of France, and their mini throwback dance party is the proof. In an Aug. 29 TikTok, the two showed off impressive choreography to Christina Aguilera's iconic 2000s hit "Come On Over (All I Want Is You)," matching each other's energy with Union in an asymmetrical red minidress, and Mowry in bright yellow.
Together, the dynamic duo hit every beat of the ultra nostalgic track, moving in sync and striking dramatic poses at the end. "Established in 1997 South of France Edition," Union captioned the video with her newfound dance partner, referencing the year she met Mowry on the "Sister Sister" set. As Taylor Swift once said, “August slipped away like a moment in time,” and August 2023 has been no different. Summer starts to come to a close at the end of August as kids head back to school, Labor Day looms and folks soak up those last few days before the official start of fall on Sept. 21. Netflix will say goodbye to some important titles at the end of this month as well.
The majority of films leaving Netflix will leave on the last day, so there is still time to squeeze some in before the month fully ends. Those leaving the streamer Aug. 31 include “If Beale Street Could Talk,” “Mean Girls,” the “Open Season” films, “Paranormal Activity,” “The Ring” and “Sleepless in Seattle” among others.

The World War Two drama War Sailor — which debuted at last year’s Toronto Film Festival — swept Norway’s Amanda Awards last night, taking four main awards.
The War Sailor haul included best actor for Pål Sverre Hagen. This is his third Amanda and second consecutive win. Ine Marie Wilmann won the best supporting actress award for portraying Cecilia in the pic.
The film, directed by Norwegian filmmaker Gunnar Vikene, centers on Alfred Garnes, a working-class sailor who has recently become the father of a third child. He and his childhood friend Sigbjørn Kvalen are working on a merchant ship in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean when World War II breaks out. They are unarmed civilians on the front lines of a war they never asked to join. The two men struggle for survival in a spiral of violence and death, where German submarines may attack their valuable vessels at any moment.

Netflix tries muscling in on the Mission: Impossible game with the adrenaline-charged spy thriller Heart of Stone, built as a vehicle for Gal Gadot (one of the producers) to swap superheroics for a more earthbound combo of brains, tech savvy, instinct and formidable fight skills. While it’s a few notches up from the Wonder Woman star’s last action romp for the streamer, Red Notice, it feels only marginally less manufactured from the spare parts of other movies. But it gets the job done and is sure to pull solid numbers. It doesn’t hurt that Gadot has appealing chemistry with co-star Jamie Dornan.
The timing seems mildly unfortunate given that the most recent M:i installment, Dead Reckoning, hit theaters only a month ago and also revolves around a risibly named AI mega-brain, “The Entity,” which nefarious forces are angling to control.

While Jy has covered a wide range of middle grade books, including manga and prose novels, the imprint is most known for original graphic novels, most notably Svetlana Chmakova's Berrybrook Middle School series. Released in 2021, Kyle's Little Sister by BonHyung Jeong joined the Jy lineup as another adorable original graphic novel featuring relatable childhood dynamics that every sibling experienced growing up. The announcement of this prequel's publication was met with much excitement from librarians, educators, and other passionate industry professionals.

Sister Wives fans have spent 17 seasons watching the Brown family implode right before their very eyes. While the polygamist family originally insisted their plural marriage functioned perfectly well, they have since changed their tune. Fans of the infamous TLC series are largely in agreement about most things. Still, some viewers have unpopular opinions. They recently sounded off on Reddit about their most controversial views of Sister Wives and the Brown family.
Some fans think Christine Brown isn’t as innocent as she seems
When Christine Brown announced the end of her marriage to Kody, she became the defacto star of Sister Wives. Fans of the series were so excited to see someone free themselves of a troubled marriage that they put the formal plural wife on a pedestal. For many Sister Wives fans, Christine Brown can do absolutely no wrong.
Not everyone agrees with that sentiment, though. A small group...

Insidious: The Red Door star-director Patrick Wilson thought he was done with the Insidious franchise, but The Further wasn’t done with him or his character quite yet.
In 2019, Wilson was quietly looking around for an opportunity to make his directorial debut, and when franchise co-creator Leigh Whannell happened to come up with an idea for a fifth Insidious film involving the return of the Lambert family, Wilson’s agent asked Blumhouse if Wilson could direct and star. One thing led to another, and Wilson found himself brainstorming for his first directorial effort in his backyard with screenwriter Scott Teems. But then the global pandemic derailed the entire world and entertainment industry alike, and so Wilson kept busy as an actor until Insidious 5 got back on track.
However, The Further wasn’t far from his mind, as Wilson daydreamed about his future directorial debut while filming Roland Emmerich’s...

It ends where it all began. Sony Pictures’s Insidious: The Red Door is out in theaters now. The horror franchise’s original cast is back in Insidious: The Red Door, directed by and starring Patrick Wilson. But Wilson covertly pulls triple duty in this sequel; the filmmaker collaborated with the band Ghost, singing on the end title track “Stay.”
The track is a cover of Shakespears Sister’s 1992 hit, which you can check out below.
For the film’s release, Bloody Disgusting spoke with Wilson about his directorial debut, where Wilson recounted the entire story behind “Stay.” The director candidly broke down how he covertly pulled it together and the inspiration behind it.
“It happened behind most people’s backs. I’ll tell you that. Of course, if it’s a big hit, they’ll all take credit for it,” Wilson jokes. “No. I knew I wanted a song,...

Ghost recently released a covers EP called Phantomime, but they evidently have more covers in them. The Swedish metal band has unleashed a cover of Shakespears Sister’s 1992 single “Stay” featuring actor Patrick Wilson.
“Stay” opens with soft synths providing the basis behind echoing vocals. About halfway through the track, things pick up, as heavy guitar riffs crash in and the vocals take on a more powerful character.
So, how did “Stay” come together? As it turns out, actor, director, and Tony-nominated singer Wilson is a major Ghost fan. He saw the band live twice in 2022 and met up with frontman Tobias Forge while working on his directorial debut, Insidious: The Red Door.
Later, inspired by Ghost’s version of “Spillways” featuring Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott, Wilson reached out to Forge, who had been working on a version of Shakespears Sister’s “Stay.” The two then decided to collaborate on the cover,...
