Josiane Balasko and Didier Bourdon are the lead characters of this comedy directed by Alexandra Leclère based on a screenplay written by Alexandra Leclère.
This is a really funny comedy in which love is put to the test… for money.
A simple comedy, which is very funny and has that “French” touch that is so comical that we love.
Searching for a good time this week-end? Look no further than “Price of Parenting” for the perfectly funny formula.
Storyline
Some parents who never get any visits from their busy offspring decide, in order to win them over, to fake winning the lottery.
About the Movie
Funny, no more nor less, but with that very French touch that knows how to make a family comedy that is truly funny.
Intelligent lines in this social comedy that has four very inspired actors delighting in comedy which at some times is a little less elegant but equally funny.

Todd Haynes creates movies that feel like part of his DNA. Whether they're originals (Safe, Velvet Goldmine, Far From Heaven, I'm Not There) or adapted from other works (Carol, the HBO miniseries Mildred Pierce), they seem to course from his bloodstream into ours. Wonderstruck, gorgeous as it is, feels like something a little less personal, a little less transgressive. Haynes has said he wanted to make a smart film for kids, and as source material, he chose a juvenile-fiction novel illustrated and written by Brian Selznick, whose work also inspired Martin Scorsese's Hugo.

HitFix's recent spate of "Best Year in Film History" pieces inevitably spurred some furious debate among our readers, with some making compelling arguments for years not included in our pieces (2007 and 1968 were particularly popular choices) and others openly expressing their bewilderment at the inclusion of others (let's just say 2012 took a beating). In the interest of giving voice to your comments, below we've rounded up a few of the most thoughtful, passionate, surprising and occasionally incendiary responses to our pieces, including my own (I advocated for The Year of Our Lynch 2001, which is obviously the best). Here we go... Superstar commenter "A History of Matt," making an argument for 1968: The Graduate. Bullit. The Odd Couple. The Lion in Winter. Planet of the Apes. The Thomas Crown Affair. Funny Girl. Rosemary's Baby. And of course, 2001, A Space Odyssey. And that's only a taste of the greatness of that year. "Lothar the Flatulant,...

There's so much to say which is perhaps why I never say it. And why I'll let you say it instead since I gave up trying to write up my thoughts each week (too many thoughts!) Comment Party! You're invited. Bring your own comments.
Ben's farewell at the Glitter BallAnd the predicted winner is... Adore (love that bitch) though my true heart belongs to Bianca
Ben de la Creme at least understood filling the entire workroom mirror with lipstick brain vomit when he departed last week leaving only four... and then three Monday night (Adore, Bianca, and Courtney) to compete for the crown tiara of America's Next Drag Superstar.
But what a way to go... and Ben even referenced What a Way To Go! (1964) at one point (though I regret to inform that I couldn't find it to prove it in screencap form) before sashaying away. Which made her...

The theme of Monday night’s episode of The Sing-Off is its most impressively vague yet: “My Generation.” Anyone who has never watched this show might think that means the teams will sing songs that they were raised on, or maybe even from the decade they were born, but to those people I would scream, “You’re so wrong!” and “Why aren’t you watching The Sing-Off, do you hate good-natured fun?!” Nick Lachey explains the theme as “the songs of yesterday and today,” which he doesn’t seem to understand means All Of The Days.

What could possibly be more stressful than gathering with family for Thanksgiving? How about gathering with old high-school classmates? That's exactly what "Ben and Kate" faces in the show's Thanksgiving episode, "Reunion."
But it's not all parties and big family dinners. Oh no -- there are some major relationship issues that need to be worked out before the holiday can end. Also, there's a turkey named Keith.
Both Ben (Nat Faxon) and Kate (Dakota Johnson) have some complicated things they need to say with regard to their respective relationships. For Ben, this means mentioning to his sister that -- at some point in the past -- he actually married their mutual friend, Bj (Lucy Punch). Thanks to mail from the IRS, this secret seems about ready to be exposed.
As for Kate, the issues are just as problematic, if not quite so secretive. She has been seeing her neighbor, Will...

While no trailer of the third season of La galère has been released online, Radio-Canada, a French Canadian TV network, did release the promo poster for the show. Moreover, the third season of this comedy series created by Renée-Claude Brazeau will premiere on September 20 at 9 Pm.
In La galère, we follow four women - Stéphanie (Hélène Florent), Mimi (Brigitte Lafleur), Claude (Anne Casabonne) and Isabelle (Geneviève Rochette) - who move into a big house with their seven children. Each of these women want to take a break from their respective husband or boyfriend (or three ex-husbands in the case of Stephanie).
While Radio-Canada hasn't revealed any details about the third season's script, here's what we should remember from the second season:
* Isabelle divorced from her husband, Jacques (Jeff Boudreault). Since Jacques is Quebec's Labour minister, Isabelle intends to compete as an independent candidate against Jacques in the same riding during the upcoming provincial election.

Greetings to all the French, my cousins from the other side of the pond! Arte, a French-German over-the-air TV network, has released online the trailer of Les invincibles. This French TV series is adapted from a Quebecker TV series of the same name.
Mano (Jean-Michel Portal), Hassan (Jonathan Cohen), F.X. (Benjamin Bellecour) and Vince (Cédric Ben Abdallah) are four old friends at the end of their twenties. Moreover, they're engaged in a stable relation with their respective girlfriend. However, the four "men" believe that they haven't lived their youth as if they were no tomorrow before the beginning of their thirties. This is why they seal a deal together: on a given day, they simultaneously break up with their respective girlfriend of the moment at 9 Pm. Obviously, this will be hard, but they do it in order to quench their desire for freedom (and problems?). However, the girls won't have it that way.
