Last year, Titan Books began a new publishing initiative to dig back into the beginning of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's inter-connected superhero film series known as The Infinity Saga. Starting with "Iron Man: The Art of the Movie," the publisher is re-issuing all of the art books tied to (almost) every chapter of the MCU. "The Art of Iron Man 2" followed earlier this year, and there will be 24 books in the entire collection. Now is the time for the God of Thunder and the shimmering realm of Asgard to take the spotlight.

About a week ago, artist Nathan Schroeder (Star Trek, The Avengers, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire) unveiled two pieces of concept art from "Jurassic World," the fourth installment in the "Jurassic Park" franchise. The art showed the exterior of the park, which will once again be on Isla Nublar, the island where "Jurassic Park" took place. Today, we have new concept art, showing what the park looks like inside. Obviously this is all before disaster strikes. Check out the art below. "Jurassic World" stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D'Onofrio, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Bd Wong, who will play the only returning "Jurassic Park" cast member. Artist Nathan Schroeder ('The Avengers', 'Star Trek into Darkness') has provided a couple of awesome looking new concept art pieces for the proposed home of 'Jurassic World'. The images reportedly are of Isla Nublar the fictional island off the west coast of Costa Rica featured in Steven Spielberg's original 'Jurassic Park'. Looks like things have come a long way since the disastrous events that ruined the original theme park. It's definitely had a bit of a clean up and now looks more like a cool tropical holiday resort. The new art also features a brand new visitors center as well as a monorail wrapped around the island, which is no doubt the perfect set piece for some dino disaster action. 'Jurassic World' is helmed by Colin Trevorrow and will star Bryce Dallas Howard ('The Village'), Chris Pratt...

Is this the new visitor’s center on Isla Nubar for Jurassic World? Potentially. These images have been floating around over the weekend, but their origin is unclear. Almost every site showing them off as genuine concept art attribute them to Nathan Schroeder, and a few even link to his site, but none of them link directly a page with the art. Plus, after clicking through his entire gallery, the images are nowhere to be found. Some posts claim the original page was taken down, but the best anyone can do is the old “I’ve got it on good authority” line. I have a call out to Schroeder for confirmation, but for now let’s all take the images with a grain of salt. Not a trike-sized load or anything, but salt nonetheless. The reason I’m posting them up is because 1) they look more than a bit like Schroeder’s regular work (on Star Trek Into Darkness, Captain America...

This is the first official concept art that we've seen from director Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World. It reveals a futuristic new visitor center on the island of Isla Nublar in the film. The art comes from conceptual artist Nathan Schroeder who has also worked on other films such as Star Trek and The Avengers.
I've enjoyed all of the Jurassic Park movies, and it's going to be really cool to see this world brought back to life. The story takes place 22 years after the events of the first Jurassic Park movie, and so far the cast includes Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Josh Brolin, Bryce Dallas Howard, Bd Wong, and maybe Jason Schwartzman. The movie is set to be released on in June of 2015.

After just learning that only one original cast member from Jurassic Park would return for the developing sequel and pseudo-reboot Jurassic World, it looks like a rumor that has been swirling for awhile has finally been confirmed thanks to some concept are that has surfaced online. Last fall when the title and 2015 summer release date was revealed, we reported a rumor that the new film would be set in present day Isla Nublar, where Jurassic Park is now an actual attraction (likely called Jurassic World), as originally intended by John Hammond. It garners 10 million visitors per year and is completely safe – until it’s not. Now two pieces of concept art seem to confirm that, showing off an impressive island-wide theme park. Look below! Maybe you.ve been to Jurassic Park, but are you ready for Jurassic World? The fourth film in the Jurassic Park series is hitting theaters next year, and everyone is curious about the storyline, particularly with the only returning cast member apparently being B.D. Wong of the first film. So with every new Jurassic World morsel comes the hope, and the theories, of what.s to come. This latest peak comes courtesy of Nathan Schroeder, a concept artist who has worked on blockbusters like Star Trek and The Avengers. Universal is apparently quite alright with him releasing these images to the public, which paint a very peculiar picture of the Jurassic world we know and love. These are peeks at the island of Kauai, which is apparently doubling as the infamous Isla Nublar. And, uh, guys? Isla Nublar seems to be doing just fine. It now appears to be...

The following images turned up on Reddit today and the speculation is that they are concept art from Jurassic World. The images are created by Nathan Schroeder (who is attached to the movie) and to be fair they do like like they would fit into the whole Jurassic world. However I’m not sure if the Burj Al-Arab influenced building quite fits. But enough of my idiotic architectural musings. Upon further investigation to Nathan’s site its easy enough to find the images where he states “These are odds and ends that are left over from many different shows that were never made. For legal reasons, I will not identify the artwork, but most of them are recognizable.

"My contribution dealt mostly with Spock's ship. I played a little visual pun in designing the cockpit - the triangle intersecting the circle is a reference to the Vulcan Idic symbol from the original television show. And since the character's identity is still a mystery at this point in the film, I wanted this to be a tip off to all the Trekkies in the audience." - Nathan Schroeder The greatest adventure of all time begins with Star Trek, the incredible story of a young crew’s maiden voyage onboard the most advanced starship ever created: the U.S.S. Some alternate concept art for The Avengers' Helicarrier and Iron Man Mark VII Armor has arrived online from artist Phil Saunders. The Avengers is such an awesome movie, so you can imagine that this concept art is equally cool.
Here is Saunders' description and designs of the Mark VII Armor:
Below are the initial 3 sketches I did early on before we knew what the Mk 7 should be. The first was actually a revision of a design I had been thinking of initially for Iron Man 2 before ultimately choosing another project. It was a lighter, more streamlined version of what had come before, trying to integrate a flowing theme wrapping around the "Rt" on the chest and mirroring that fast line through the body. This was more of the evolutionary design, and ultimately was approved pretty much immediately as a starting point for the Mk 7.

You've seen The Avengers, now see the stunning concept art that helped bring writer-director Joss Whedon's vision to life.
In making The Avengers, it took a veritable army of skilled laborers, craftsmen and animators to construct the movie's numerous sets, vehicles, weapons, aliens — heck, even several of the Avengers themselves. But, before a single brick was laid or a 3D model rendered, artists such as Nathan Schroeder and Steve Jung were tasked with conceptualizing some of the more elaborate locations, vehicles and scenes found in the script. Now that The Avengers is doing so well at the box office — $1 billion worldwide and counting — Marvel Studios is apparently okay with some of the concept art getting out, as both Schroeder and Jung have uploaded the artwork they created for The Avengers to their personal websites. Included in the artwork is one piece by Jung for an "opera scene of the...

What is Movie News After Dark? It happens nightly. It’s about movies. Sometimes television, too. It’s written by a guy who thinks he’s funny. He is often wrong. We begin this evening with a quick programming note. For the second time in the history of this column, we will be celebrating a week of guest entries. Once again, members of the Fsr staff have come forward to pledge their swords to the battle for excellent nightly movie news link-dumps. I will be away doing my usual moving and shaking, while the likes of Nathan Adams, Kevin Carr, Luke Mullen, Kate Erbland and a doubtfully sober Robert Fure will be taking the reigns. I have faith that you will all survive their week of debauchery. I bid you to go with god. Above, Bane reacts to this news in a new image from The Dark Knight Rises. In times past, we...

Following the release of Marvel's The Avengers triumphant superhero spectacle, conceptual artists who contributed to anticipated assembly during its early stages of production have revealed images from their portfolios. While illustrator Nathan Schroeder's stunning work highlights Thanos' cosmic lair and the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier inside and out, concept designer Steve Jung's selection features Stark Tower and key sequences. "Avengers was my seventh Marvel film, counting the Xmen and Fantastic Four movies, and my first film working with Designer James Chinlund; but it was quite possibly the most enjoyable," notes Nathan Schroeder's official site. "James was very open to collaboration and eager to embrace 3D modeling technologies. This allowed us to refine the sets we were developing by moving around and viewing from many different angles. For the Director," adds Schroeder, "this means that there's not going to be just one sweet spot for the camera,...
