Hallmark is heading to Europe in June for some tasty romcoms that are all food related. What is not to like about eating your way through Malta with Andrew Walker, sampling cheese in Paris with One Tree Hill alum Bethany Joy Lenz, starting a restaurant in Greece with Danielle C. Ryan, or savoring some gelato in Italy with Young And The Restless alum Hunter King?
On the other hand, a new June Hallmark Mystery takes place in Detroit, Rock City. In Tipline Mysteries: Dial 1 For Murder, Holland Roden is a sleuth, while When Calls The Heart heartthrob Chris McNally seems to be channeling his inner Pacino as a police detective.

An unreleased Johnny Cash album will finally see the light of day, thanks to his son John Carter Cash and a team of world-class country musicians. Titled Songwriter, the project was recorded in 1993, and will be released on June 28th via Mercury Nashville/UMe.
Songwriter features 11 songs written solely by Cash over the course of his then-40-year-long career. He made the album at Lsi Studios in Nashville during a period when he was between contracts, and it ultimately ended up shelved until his son, John Carter, and producer David “Fergie” Ferguson sought to finish it with a group of musicians who played with Cash, including Marty Stuart, Pete Abbott, the late Dave Roe, and others.
Today, ahead of the album’s release, Cash’s estate shared the single “Well Alright,” a classic story-telling song with an even-more-classic country arrangement, even down to the tinny lead guitar, train-shuffle beat, and folksy,...

It is solely used for filming during the season. The reason is it has more space for the camera crew, the Efirds, and Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson to move around. Mama June: Family Crisis critics were livid when they heard that June Shannon got temporary custody of Anna Cardwell’s daughter, Kaitlyn, 11, and now she says that she’s giving her grandchild a “normal” life, they might sigh with frustration. Many WeTV fans feel that the best place for Kaitlyn would be with her half-sister, Kylee, and her dad, Michael Cardwell.

Mama June: Family Crisis fans fear for Kaitlyn because Alana Thompson’s mom ran off with Geno Doak and blew a lot of money in casinos and on drugs. WeTV viewers felt their hearts melt with sorrow when they saw Alana crying over the abandonment. A decade before Knight and Day was released, a movie like it would have killed with audiences: Come on, it starred Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz and looked to perfectly mash humor and action in a way that so few male/female-led action-comedies had for years. Yet, it didn’t connect. But why? There are a lot of reasons, really, and not just, as Roy Miller would say, “one of those things.” Through lousy marketing, hokey promotion, poorly timed sneak previews, and even Katie Holmes, Knight and Day fizzled, less “beautiful dress” than beautiful mess…But it did at least inspire a Bollywood remake, so suck on that, Vanilla Sky! Speaking in a new interview with Variety, Li explained that she wanted to honor the song’s distinct vibe while leaning into its emotionality. In the end, a spur-of-the-moment performance spawned the sound she was looking for.
“I sat down at the piano and the first thing that came out of my mouth was what I recorded,” she said. “To be honest, the only version I’ve ever heard in my whole life is the Johnny Cash version, so I had no real history. Documentary on June Carter Cash who was born into music royalty and a tough, funny trailblazer star – and the co-writer of Ring of Fire
The title is “June” – no surname. Which is surely director Kristen Vaurio making a point, since her documentary about June Carter Cash makes a convincing case that the country singer has for too long been under-appreciated and overshadowed by her husband Johnny. The stereotype of June is that she was the wifey-for-lifey who saved Cash from his demons, but the woman who emerges here is tough and funny, blazing a trail for herself as an artist. As Reese Witherspoon, who portrayed her in the movie Walk the Line, points out – still indignant – it was June who wrote Ring of Fire (with Merle Kilgore), one of Cash’s most famous songs.
Carter was born into country music royalty, the Carter family, and was touring by her teens.
