CAA co-chairman and Scarlett Johansson’s agent Bryan Lourd issued a statement Friday in response to Disney’s harsh slam against the Black Widow actress in her breach of contact lawsuit versus the Burbank studio.
On Thursday, Disney shamed the two-time Oscar nominee by saying her lawsuit showed “callous disregard” for the pandemic — the latter of which has been the studio’s excuse for taking Black Widow day-and-date in theaters on and Disney+ Premier. Disney also outed her $20 million salary for the film, which it claims that coupled with the Disney+ monies of the MCU title “significantly enhanced her ability to earn additional compensation.”
Below is Lourd’s statement:
I want to address the Walt Disney Company’s statement that was issued in response to the lawsuit filed against them yesterday by our client Scarlett Johansson. They have shamelessly and falsely accused Ms. Johansson of being insensitive to the global Covid pandemic,...

More than 30 years after he first donned that infamous Batman suit, Michael Keaton is stepping back into familiar territory. On Monday, Keaton’s agency confirmed that he will appear as Batman in the forthcoming movie “The Flash,” which began filming in the U.K. this week. The film won’t be hitting theaters until 2022, which gives you plenty of time to catch up Keaton’s “Batman” movies and a bunch of other films in his catalog such as “Beetlejuice,” “Birdman,” “Multiplicity,” and “The Founder.”
The 69-year-old actor played Batman in the 1989 blockbuster directed by Tim Burton, and its 1992 sequel, “Batman Returns.” Pretty much all of the “Batman” movies are currently streaming on HBO Max.

Saturday Night Live took on the competing ABC Joe Biden and NBC Donald Trump town halls during its latest episode. The show kicked off with a cold opening that saw Alex Baldwin reprise his role as 45 and Jim Carrey transform into the Democratic presidential nominee and former vice president.
The jokes about the conflicting town halls also found their way into the latest “Weekend Update” installation. Upon bringing up the topic of the NBC town hall, Michael Che said that the Thursday program shouldn’t have been a surprise.
“What can we say, we have a type,” the comedian said. Next to Che appeared a picture of Bill Cosby, Matt Lauer and Trump, hinting at the first two men’s rape accusations.
Che’s joke comes after NBC received backlash for running a town hall at the same time as Biden’s on ABC, despite the latter being scheduled first.

This year’s showdown between the highly contentious incumbent Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden has already been filled to the brim with concerns about election integrity, the future of women’s rights and the handling of Covid-19. Republicans voting for Trump view their vote as one for the protection of their conservative ideals, while Democrats voting for Joe Biden feel that the very stability of the country’s democracy and safety hangs in the balance.
Regardless of which side of the fence you find yourself, though, there’s no denying that the recent presidential debate was a disastrous event. Trump continuously and aggressively interrupted both his opponent and the moderator, Chris Wallace, while Biden became clearly frustrated with the chaos and struggled to get his points across at times. It was a disappointing event for undecided voters, and it’s been a source of mockery ever since.

“Saturday Night Live” fans turned out in masses for last night’s 46th season premiere, generating the show’s most-watched season debut in four years, according to “fast official” “live plus same day” results from Nielsen Media Research.
Hosted by Chris Rock with musical guest Megan Thee Stallion, the show averaged a 1.68 rating in adults 18-49 and 7.765 million viewers overall, making it the most-watched season premiere since 2016 (with host Margot Robbie and musical guest The Weeknd). The show was kicked off with the much-anticipated debut of Jim Carrey as the show’s new Joe Biden in a parody of the first presidential debate. Opposite Alex Baldwin’s Donald Trump — with an appearance by Maya Rudolph as Kamala Harris — Carrey’s Biden asked America to “look directly into my eyeballs.

It only took until the third episode of “Saturday Night Live’s” 44th season for Alex Baldwin to slip back into a suit, red tie and Donald Trump combover wig.
The Emmy winning actor and new talk show host appeared in the cold open sketch, which focused on Trump’s Oval Office meeting with Kanye West (played here by Chris Redd) and Jim Brown (played by Kenan Thompson).
Baldwin as Trump welcomed West to the office, thanking him for giving him a pair of his sneakers and allowing him to make “one or two brief, lucid remarks.”
Redd as West began by starting that “time is a myth” and he is “a prisoner in a different dimension.” From there he launched into his belief that “the 13th amendment is a trapdoor…and why would you install a trapdoor when you could end up with the Unabomber?”

After a 0-3 loss to Croatia yesterday, Lionel Messi and Argentina aren’t quite out of the 2018 World Cup but it’s not looking good even as Iceland got iced out today by Nigeria.

While a dip of just over 9% from when 2014 runners-up Argentina drew with Iceland on June 16, yesterday’s match was the fifth highest rated game of the 2018 World Cup for Fox so far – and that’s with no USA team playing.

Alec Baldwin and Donald Trump aren't each other's biggest fans. On Monday's episode of The Tonight Show, the 59-year-old actor referred to their Twitter feuds as "surreal." The president and Boss Baby star had a heated exchange on social media earlier this month after Baldwin said playing Trump on Saturday Night Live was "agony." Baldwin then clapped back by tweeting he'd like to "hang in there for the impeachment hearings, the resignation speech and farewell helicopter ride to...
