Adam Reed was searching for inspiration. He’d just sold his stake in the production company he co-founded, 70/30 Productions — responsible for his animated series Sealab 2021 and Frisky Dingo — and fled to Europe, to embark on what he calls a “pilgrimage.” One day during his expedition, he was idling at a café in Salamanca, Spain, and observed a group of stunning women. He wondered who could possibly have the courage to approach them. And then, all of a sudden, a suave fellow sat down at the table, ordered a...

You may not know Amber Nash's name, but if you're a fan of edgy animated comedies for grownups, you almost certainly know her voice.
Amber's acting credits include such beloved series as Frisky Dingo, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and, most notably, Archer -- the bonkers FX spy sitcom, on which she portrayed fan favorite Pam Poovey for 14 seasons.
And as 2023 comes to a close, Amber is entering an exciting new phase in her career.
Archer is wrapping up its historic run on Sunday with a three-part series finale, and Nash recently starred in her first feature film, the hilariously risqué Christmas comedy How to Ruin the Holidays, currently streaming on Prime Video.
We caught up with Amber for a wide-ranging conversation that touched on her long involvement in the world of animated sitcoms, the portrayal of developmentally disabled adults on screen, and whether or not the band Toto deserves their reputation as a one-hit-wonder.

This article contains light spoilers for America: The Motion Picture.
Director Matt Thompson has been in the adult animated comedy game for a long time. Thompson was around for the dawn of Adult Swim in 2001 when the programming block hosted Sealab 2021, the series he created alongside frequent collaborator Adam Reed. Reed and Thompson would go on to produce several other animated classics including Frisky Dingo and Archer (which is set to premiere its 12th season later this year).
Still, when it came time to direct his first feature animated film, Netflix’s America: The Motion Picture, the seasoned vet realized that movies are a unique beast.
“(With films) you get a lot more time to sit and try to make things funnier, to make more jokes,” Thompson says. “When you’re on a very tight deadline of episodic television, you kind of have to kick stuff out and move forward.

"I'm George Washington. Let's go start a f*&!ing revolution!" Time to celebrate 'Merica! Netflix dropped an official trailer for the animated comedy America: The Motion Picture, from Matt Thompson. In this wildly tongue-in-cheek animated revisionist history, a chainsaw-wielding George Washington assembles a team of rabble rousers — including beer-loving bro Sam Adams, famed scientist Thomas Edison, acclaimed horseman Paul Revere, and a pissed off Geronimo — to defeat Benedict Arnold and King James in the American Revolution. Who will win? No one knows, but you can be sure of one thing: these are not your father's Founding... uh, Fathers. This stars "America's sweethearts" Channing Tatum (as G.W.), Jason Mantzoukas, Olivia Munn, Judy Greer, Bobby Moynihan (as Paul), Raoul Max Trujillo (as Geronimo), Killer Mike, Andy Samberg, Will Forte, and Simon Pegg (as King James). This looks totally insane in the best of ways. Can't wait to watch this and laugh my ass off.

“Archer,” the Emmy-winning comedy series, is returning to Fxx. The 11th season will premiere two back-to-back episodes on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 10 p.m. Pt/Et.
“Archer” is an animated, half-hour comedy that follows eight dysfunctional spies of the International Secret Intelligence Service (Isis), a fictional New York-based intelligence agency. The team is led by Sterling Archer, voiced by H. Jon Benjamin, who returns to the scene after a three-year coma. Previous seasons have reimagined the core cast as stock characters from a noir film, following the team’s mission in a remote South Pacific island in 1939 and in a retro-futuristic outer space.
“Archer” was conceived by creator Adam Reed following the cancellation of his Adult Swim series “Frisky Dingo.” The dark comedy draws inspiration from the James Bond franchise, referencing heavy humor and meta-comedy. There have been 110 episodes broadcast in the show’s history.

[Editor’s Note: The following review contains spoilers for “Archer” Season 10, “Robert De Niro,” including the ending.]
It was time to move forward. Over the last three seasons of “Archer,” creator Adam Reed sent his merry band of marauders to “Dreamland,” “Danger Island,” and “1999,” resetting their surroundings and professions each year without altering their enticing character dynamics. The results made for grand entertainment — and proved how far the series’ core could be stretched without cracking — but the set-up demanded a return to the present, sooner rather than later.
Thus, the Season 10 finale abides, wrapping up a series of silly, lush, and barely connected space adventures with a big bang that doubled as a jumpstart back to reality. As unveiled at Comic-Con, “Archer” finally wakes up. The coma he was sent into at the end of Season 7 comes to a close, as do the dreamy adventures he went on while unconscious that shaped each previous season.
And yet, what Reed has accomplished...

It can be hard to believe, but “Archer” is about to enter its 10th season. That’s right, the creative team behind “Archer” has been going at it non-stop for almost 10 years. (Phrasing!) Given that the show Frisky Dingo had to work through two different titles before settling on its name and the fact that it didn’t survive the initial run of its series even on Adult Swim it’s a big question as to whether it should be revived or not. It did manage to last from August 2007 to March of 2008 but beyond that it wasn’t deemed worth renewing for many different likely reasons. Shows such as Frisky Dingo usually seem to be akin to fever dreams that come from not enough sleep, an unhealthy diet, or perhaps too much time

When Adam Reed pitched his “James Bond meets ‘Arrested Development’” spy series to FX, he always intended for it to be animated because that was his area of expertise.
The cabler, which prides itself on having a slate of successful shows that are “radical deconstructions and reconstructions of genre,” per CEO John Landgraf, did not blink at the idea of adding “Archer,” an adult cartoon, to its lineup in 2009. And as the years have gone by, an increase in animator talent and an evolution of digital technology has allowed the show to take more creative risks.
“When we started it was really just eight of us in this house in East Atlanta,” art director Chad Hurd says. “The house style was limited animation [and] everything was drawn in Adobe Illustrator. We storyboarded everything to be very, very user friendly, but the animation was a little stiffer.”

When Amber Nash started on Archer, she was practically an unknown in the industry.
Now she's a beloved voice actress who has set her sites on goals to get out from behind the facade of Archer's "Pam" Poovey.
Find out what might be up with Poovey during Archer Season 8, what Amber would do if her voice betrayed her and so much more as you read highlights from our interview below.
When I was at Nycc, everything was top secret, and we were all in the dark. They were even playing as if all the characters were going to be different, new names, etc. You're wearing pants, and nobody is calling you Pam. What's the biggest difference in your character this season?

Channing Tatum will be voicing our nation's first President, George Washington, in an animated film featuring a revisionist history of America. Deadline tells us Netflix will be pushing its first animated motion picture titled, America: The Motion Picture. The film is being produced by Tatum as well as the duo behind Archer. Dave Callaham, who wrote the first two Expendables movies, wrote the script, and Matt Thompson will be directing.

Archer: Season 6
Airs Thursdays at 10m Et on Fxx, starting January 8th
When it was first announced, Archer Vice, Aka the completely serialized fifth season of Archer, blew minds. The notion of a popular comedy ditching its usual episodic-with-bits-of-serialization format, changing the occupations of its entire cast, and completely changing the locale for an entire season was a radical one, though admittedly one totally in keeping with creator Adam Reed’s anarchic comic sensibility. The reality of actually watching Archer Vice was a little less exciting; the use of a season-long story sapped some of the series’ vitality and memorability, making for a frustrating week-to-week viewing experience.
It wasn’t a huge surprise, then, when Reed announced that Archer would “de-boot” back to its status quo for its sixth season. Indeed, season six opens with the status quo of the first four seasons completely restored – well, almost. In the...

It’s The Televerse’s third birthday, and once again, we’re celebrating with our annual Make-You-Watchathon, where the hosts choose a series to make the other(s) watch. This year, it’s an animation party, with all three Televerse cohosts participating and choosing animated series. First, however, it’s another more relaxed week in TV, as the summer series continue to wind down. We kick things off with the finale of Sytycd and some comedy talk, including the premiere of The League and the return of Gravity Falls, and then take a brief look at some genre (Doctor Who and Outlander) before diving in with the dramas, including the premiere of Boardwalk Empire and the finale of the uneven first season of The Leftovers. Afterward, we kick off the Make-You-Watchathon with Sean’s pick, Samurai Jack, before moving on to Simon’s, Frisky Dingo, and rounding out the segment with Kate’s pick,...

After Frisky Dingo's brief Mr. Ford cameo, Adam Reed finally got to do his big crossover episode with Sealab 2021 during tonight's "Sea Tunt: Part 2."
So how did Jon Hamm do in filling the shoes as the voice of Captain Murphy?
Murphy, like many villains in the Archer-universe, was hardly the most dangerous man of the night. Even as the captain threatened to unload nerve gas missiles against the eastern seaboard, it was Randy Magnum and his 3.5 gallons of booze that really got in the way. That, and Krieger's cocaine-induced gun mods.
Hamm's Murphy, despite holding a knife to Lana's neck, certainly redeemed himself when it was revealed he merely had a psychotic breakdown, lacked any actual missiles... and even helped the Isis plan their escape Sea Lab.
But, honestly, Hamm never quite captured the ridiculousness that was the real Captain Murphy. Nor did he really sound like himself.

After “Midnight Ron,” I’m wondering if maybe I was being a bit hasty in my judgment of Archer’s newly minted step-father, Ron. Prior to this week’s episode, we hardly knew him. To us, he was, as Malory put it, “the most boringest man alive” (but not quite in those words).
With this episode, however, Reed once again masterfully brings a new character completely into the fold, initiating him as just another one of the gang, so to speak. Ron might only be Archer’s step-father, but “Midnight Ron” shows he’s closer to his step-son than either of them (or Malory, especially) would like to admit.

With this episode, however, Reed once again masterfully brings a new character completely into the fold, initiating him as just another one of the gang, so to speak. FX gave San Diego Comic-Con one mean trick and a whole lotta treats at their Archer panel, but everyone left with their cheeks sore from laughing. A warning to the light-hearted readers, this write-up contains a large amount of vulgarity.
The one trick was an exclusive clip of Archer (H. Jon Benjamin) about to hanglide off the edge of a massive canyon, speaking to the Comic-Con crowd and insulting them for the vast amount of virgins in the house. The clip also showed Archer willing to speak freely about Season 4 spoilers and all that’s happened since the Season 3 finale that occurred in space. But because Archer was high atop a windy canyon, with his spirit animal (a bald eagle) the gusts of wind were so strong that none of the juicy details could be heard.
Editor’S Pick: Beware of H. Jon Benjamin Lurking in Your Elevator

The Comic-Con 2012 schedule has now been released in full, and barring any major updates, is set. The blessing and curse of being an attendee is deciding which panels/autograph sessions/special events to attend, when they conflict. And they always do.
For you to see for yourself, below are what we are calling the “headliner” panels; those panels that are taking place in Hall H, Ballroom 20, Room 6Bdf, and the just-next-door Hilton Indigo Ballroom, the four major venues for panels. There are descriptions of each panel as well as the show(s) and/or movie(s) they are there to discuss.
See how many conflicts you might have, or how you might arrange time and space to somehow attend these plus spend every day in the vendors’ Exhibit Hall and chasing zombies in the nearby The Walking Dead Escape. By the way, if you figure that out, Please let us know.

Zap2it caught up with All-American Rejects guitarist Mike Kennerty recently to ask him not about his band's new album, but important stuff like his favorite word ("Dude") and his spirit animal ("A chippy"?).
The All-American Rejects' new album, "Kids In The Street," was released in March and features the new single "Beekeeper's Daughter." The band is currently preparing for a run of East Coast dates in the U.S. before heading overseas for a U.K. tour supporting Blink-182. Luckily, Kennerty (above right) wasn't too busy to indulge our list of burning questions.
Below, his gracious answers:
What is your current computer desktop picture?
The big smiling head of Killface from "Frisky Dingo" (show on Adult Swim).
What's a saying you say a lot?
F*****' A!
What is your favorite word?
Dude.
What would you want to be written on your tombstone?

Archer 3.09 "Bloody Ferlin" Review - A Justified Approach
Archer drives along with its latest from season 3, or technically season 3.5 with "Bloody Ferlin," as Archer accompanies Ray Gillette to his hometown of West Virginia to rescue his brother Randy (Jack McBrayer) from a corrupt sheriff . It's a bit of a bumpy road getting there, but ultimately "Bloody Ferlin" makes for some good laughs.
I almost feel like a broken record saying this, but it’s a real bummer that I wasn’t around to cover last week’s Archer “Lo Scandalo.” That was exactly the kind of Archer episode that deviates from the standard formula, but with enough callbacks to make for a truly engaging story that brings the depths of the Archer family depravity to new heights. Tonight’s clear nod to Justified with “Bloody Ferlin” was by no means a weak episode in its own right, but still a...

Archer 3.07 "Drift Problem" Review - My Mother, The Car
Archer drives along with its latest from season 3, or technically season 3.5 with "Drift Problem," as a spy car given as a gift for Archer's birthday winds up stolen, sending the Isis agent on a rampage to see it returned. More or less, we liked his last rampage better.
Given how much I unexpectedly liked last week’s “Skytanic” sequel of sorts, the madcap “The Limited,” it wasn’t surprising that the next week might be something of a letdown. I’m not usually a tremendous fan of Archer, but I like the way the series rewards long-time viewers with an endless barrage of joke callbacks, which “The Limited” did very well. “Drift Problem” by no means attempted to piggyback on that success, but it wasn’t fresh or nostalgic enough to really win in either direction.

Archer 3.04 "The Man From Jupiter" Season Premiere Review
Archer spies out its season 3 premiere, or technically season 3.5 premiere with "The Man From Jupiter," as Burt Reynolds lends some star power in dating Sterling's mother Malory and generally distracting from the Cuban hit squad sent to kill the world's greatest secret agent. Thankfully Archer fans had "Heart of Archness" to tide them over through the Fall, but "The Man From Jupiter" makes for a fine return to form.
Like most series, it took me a good while to get into Archer. I never paid much attention prior to the current season, and it wasn’t until a learned, yet cynical friend of mine raved about the series that I even thought to give it an honest look. Perhaps I’d been feeling a bit of H. Jon Benjamin fatigue, and lord knows I have to dislike something too many people praise,...

Chicago – There’s so much variance in quality when it comes to TV animation for adults. On one end of the spectrum, there’s the already-canceled “Allen Gregory” and the hopefully-to-follow “Napoleon Dynamite.” On the other, you have a show like “South Park” that has lost none of its creative drive. With “Family Guy” faltering in the last couple years, there’s only one real contender to the Parker/Stone throne and tonight’s premiere of “Archer” proves that this often-brilliant show needs to be in the conversation when one considers the best animated shows on TV.
Television Rating: 4.5/5.0
I sometimes forget how funny “Archer” is until a new season premiere screener shows up. The first episode of the third season, “The Man From Jupiter,” which features a riotous guest appearance by Burt Reynolds, is one of the funniest things that I’ve seen in a long time, animated or live-action.

Like always, Comic Con International is revealing the schedule of events day by day. It certainly makes planning a lot easier. But that's neither here nor there. There's a lot of panels to cover, so let's just get to it. Check out the pertinent film and television panels set for the first two days of the show after the jump.
The first "day" of the show is Preview Night only, so there's only a couple things happening that night:

We're less than two weeks away from the 2011 San Diego Comic Con, and convention organizers have finally released the schedule for the first day of programing. You can find the full schedule on comic-con.org [1], or after the jump I've listed the film and television highlights, which includes the Masters of the Web panel which I've been invited to be a panelist on (In full disclosure, I've been asked to be on this panel for a few years now, but I've only just recently gotten over my fear of speaking in front of large audiences). It should be a fun panel, and I hear they will be giving away some really cool prizes as well. In an interview with The New Yorker that ran in October 2001, a month after she died, renowned film critic Pauline Kael said: "I still don't look at movies twice. It's funny, I just feel I got it the first time. With music it's different. People respond so differently to the whole issue of seeing a movie many times. I'm astonished when I talk to really good critics, who know their stuff and will see a film eight or ten or twelve times. I don't see how they can do it without hating the movie. I would." That kind of brash commitment is typical of Kael, but though she was a fantastic critic, the sentiment's a remarkably myopic one. Many times, it's possible to see a film and know that you "got it the first time," but any critic can only ever bring their current experience, knowledge, and understanding to the...

I wasn’t totally sold on the first season of Archer. I was a devoted fan of creator Adam Reed’s previous TV show, the majestic Adult Swim dark comedy Frisky Dingo, a series so relentlessly quotable that my brother and I spent about a year communicating in a language composed entirely of quotes from Frisky Dingo. Archer, when it debuted, seemed like a lesser enterprise. TV history is filled with spy spoofs, and Archer’s particular twist — imagining James Bondian thrills in the context of a workplace sitcom — seemed curiously old-fashioned, like Get Smart with more swears. But this...

I had a bit of trouble getting going on this review. I feel like I've already said what I wanted to say about the show and the season is only half over, so I asked my girlfriend what I should say about this week's Archer.
"Um, that it was badass," she said. It was. They all are.
Movie star Rona Thorne (played by Daily Show alum Rachel Harris) visits Isis headquarters to research her role for a new spy movie, causing Lana and Archer to compete for her attention. Mallory, reminiscing about her short acting career, gets Cyril to help her write a screenplay. Meanwhile, Ray, Cheryl and Pam try to hatch a plan to plant Rona's stolen diary back into her apartment before she notices.
Harris absolutely killed it as Rona Thorne, a fairly vacant movie starlet who hops on any new-age medicine or self-help bandwagon because it's new and hip.

Season 2, Episode 1 - A Swiss Miss
Starring: H. Jon Benjamin, Judy Greer, Amber Nash, Chris Parnell, Aisha Tyler, Adam Reed and Jessica Walter

I’ll admit, I didn’t watch much of the first season of Archer. It wasn’t that I didn’t like the show or anything of the sort, I just... didn’t watch it. However, the season two premiere of Archer reminded me of what I loved about the episodes I had seen and made a lot of headway in selling me on the rest of the season.

Comedic genius Adam Reed (Sealab 2021, Frisky Dingo) has another cult hit on his hands. His latest effort, Archer, started off its second season this evening with a bang.
For the uninitiated, Archer is about the goings on at an American spy agency called Isis. Archer (H. Jon Benjamin), Lana (Aisha Tyler) Ray (Reed), Cyril (Chris Parnell), Kreiger (Lucky Yates), Pam (Amber Nash) and Cheryl (Judy Greer) all work under Mallory (Jessica Walter), the head of Isis and Archer's mother. The best way to describe the show is that it's a cross between Arrested Development and James Bond films.
In the season two premiere, a group of Isis employees heads to a snowy town in Switzerland to protect the daughter of a wealthy videotech distributor.
What sets Archer apart from other "adult" cartoons is how cleverly the dialogue is written. The lines sound ad-libbed and natural, which breathe life into the animated characters.

Archer returns tonight! Yay, my favorite foul-mouthed espionage cartoon is finally back for its second season. For anyone who ever crowded around a dorm-room computer to watch episodes of Sealab 2021 or Frisky Dingo, Archer feels like the natural next step. But it’s also a bit more ambitious (not to mention raunchy) than its predecessors with narrative arcs that lightly carry over episode-to-episode. Why isn’t everyone watching this show? The world’s just a really stubborn place that hates laughing and being awesome, I guess.
To the delight of its fans and the dismay of all others, Archer is eminently quotable.

Chicago – The second season premiere of “Archer” opens with a hysterical scene that ends with a suave super-spy saying “Look at me, I am the perfect gentleman.” Of course, the statement comes by virtue of the fact that Sterling Archer (voiced by H. Jon Benjamin) is pointing out that he’s not taking a softball joke set-up involving a 16-year-old German jailbait and her body hair. It’s the kind of unique humor you’ll find only on “Archer,” one of the more consistently clever and riotously funny shows on television, back tonight, Jan. 27, 2011 on FX.
Television Rating: 4.5/5.0
“Archer” is so funny that you can DVR it and watch it again (and truly should pick up the season one DVD, recently release by Fox). I’ll admit to watching the second-season premiere, “Swiss Miss,” more than once. There’s something about the best adult-driven animation that makes it incredibly rewatchable.

This Week in DVD & Blu-ray is a column that compiles all the latest info regarding new DVD and Blu-ray releases, sales, and exclusive deals from stores including Target, Best Buy and Fry’s. Archer (Season 1) Much like its FX counterpart, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Archer is a show about horrible people doing horrible things. Premised as a '60s spy thriller spoof, the series adopts the same irreverent brand of humor we've come to expect from creator Adam Reed (Frisky Dingo, Sealab 2021), thrusting our deviant band of self-obsessed special agents through the ringer as they spout fiercely clever/cleverly stupid insults at one another and zanily stumble through mission after mission—with varying degrees of blood loss. It's everything loyal fans like myself came to love about Frisky Dingo, just with a tad bit more (very welcome) narrative structure. If you aren't watching it, you should be. Available on Blu-ray?...

Adult Swim, which is typically written this way, [adult swim], to give personality to the title, is part of Cartoon Network. It’s primarily dedicated to animated TV shows that are for adults and not for kids. That’s not to say that the content is obscene necessarily, but the humor is directed to a more sophisticated audience. By making use of innovative DVD publishing technology, Adult Swim brings its consumers Adult Swim Shop (adultswimshop.com) for manufactured on demand DVD purchasing. Now all the zany and sometimes demented cartoons that are on or have been on adult are available to customers through Adult Swim Shop. There are a few non-cartoon titles.
Some of the titles that Adult Swim Shop offers are: Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Brak Show, Frisky Dingo, 12 oz. Mouse, Harvey Birdman, Metalocalypse, The Mighty Boosh, Moral Orel, Robot Chicken, Sealab 2021, Space Ghost and Space Ghost Coast To Coast.

The FX Network has decided to order another 13 episodes of its animated series Archer, according to The Hollywood Reporter. These will comprise the second season and represent an increase over the amount of episodes that are in Season 1.
"It truly earned a second season," said Nick Grad, the Executive Vice President of Original Programming at FX. "[It has] one of the best voice casts of any animated series on TV. We're very happy with the audience response and critical acclaim for Archer, and are excited to move forward with it."
The cast of Archer includes H. Jon Benjamin (Family Guy, Aqua Teen Hunger Force), Judy Greer (Arrested Development), Chris Parnell (Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock) and Jessica Walter (90210, Arrested Development). The show was created by Adam Reed (Frisky Dingo, Sealab 2021) and focuses on employees at a spy agency.
At the time of writing seven episodes have aired. FX broadcasts Archer at 10 pm on Thursdays.

I never get to watch series live on television, so I'm usually catching up through Netflix, particularly with the Watch Instantly. And while usually, I find it to be mostly old episodes of "Airwolf" or stuff that barely makes it on to TBS Late Night, they've really done a great job updating their selection. We've already pimped series like "The Office," "30 Rock," and "Friday Night Lights" on here, so I'm focusing on some series that you may not have heard of. Most of them are British, so forgive me for being naive, those of you on the other side of the pond, especially since some of them are almost seven or eight years old. But if you've got access to Netflix Watch Instantly, you should take the chance to watch these as soon as possible. Feel free to litter the comments section with suggestions of your own. Since I know you will anyway.

Chicago – Perhaps the highest compliment I can pay FX’s new often-brilliant animated series “Archer” is that, even with several new shows on my plate to watch, I actually went back and viewed a few episodes more than once. Like a lot of great animation - the best of “The Simpsons,” “Family Guy,” “South Park,” “Venture Bros.” - “Archer” is immensely rewatchable. A future cult hit premieres tonight.

“Archer” is a daring hybrid of the workplace comedy (a la “The Office”) and a spy show spoof akin to “Austin Powers.” Not only does creator Adam Reed (“Frisky Dingo,” “Sealab 2021”) target the overall idiocy of the life of a wildly narcissistic, alcoholic, sexually daring super spy but his co-workers in the field and back at the office. The result is such a bizarre mix of styles and sources of humor that it’s hard to believe that it...

If you're a fan of Adult Swim -- and specifically "Frisky Dingo" and "Sealab 2021" -- then you might want to move over to FX Thursday night (Jan. 14) to check out the channel's new animated series "Archer."
If you're so inclined, though, do yourself a favor and don't let too many episodes pile up on your DVR. "Archer" is at times very funny, but a little of it can go a long way.
The show comes from Adam Reed, who co-created both "Sealab" and "Frisky Dingo," and follows the exploits of international superspy Sterling Archer, an agent of the International Secret Intelligence Service, or Isis. And by "exploits" I mean petty office politics, an ex who's both repelled and still drawn to him and one mother of an Oedipus complex. Occasionally he does some actual espionage work too.
"Archer" has a great voice cast that includes H. Jon Benjamin ("Home Movies,...

FX has decided not to make anyone wait for the final season of "Nip/Tuck," which along with a new season of "Damages" will hit your screens in January.
The animated series "Archer" will also premiere in January, while the new drama "Justified" and comedy "Louie" will debut in the spring.
"Nip/Tuck" is scheduled to wrap up its sixth season on Dec. 16. It will be off the air for only three weeks before the final nine episodes begin. That's a far cry from FX's original plan, announced in summer 2008, that put the series finale in 2011. Now the final episode is scheduled for March 3.
"Damages" begins its third season on Monday, Jan. 25. Glenn Close, Rose Byrne, Tate Donovan and Ted Danson will all return to the show, and they'll be joined by Campbell Scott and Martin Short as series regulars and guest stars Keith Carradine, Lily Tomlin and Len Carion.

The folks over at Adult Swim have been pretty spot on with animated (and even live action) comedies in the past few years. They have produced some impressive shows, such as Venture Bros., Frisky Dingo, and of course, Robot Chicken. Due to the success of the latter, the show’s creators have developed a new show, Titan Maximum.
The show is about the Titan Force Five a team of young heroes who band together after breaking up to take down one of their own who turned to the dark side. It’s basically a claymation Voltron accept updated with the sense of humor of Tom Root, Matt Senreich, and Seth Green. Starring some of the Robot Chicken regulars like Breckin Meyer, Rachael Leigh Cook, Dan Milano, Eden Espinosa, and Seth Green.
