Dani Mathers is still dealing with the consequences of body shaming a 70-year-old woman at an L.A. Fitness last July.
In her first interview since the incident sparked outrage -- as well as an Lapd investigation -- the 30-year-old Playboy model emotionally details how her life has changed since the incident, fighting back tears.
"To hide out at my mother's house at age 30, because of something I've done, it just felt really low," Mathers says in a taped segment for ABC News, which aired on Good Morning America on Wednesday.

Robbie Morrison continued his winning streak with last issue, the first of this new arc. Although for a second it looked as though Morrison would be treating us to the adventures of the Time Surgeon and companion Kara, fighting the dastardly Minister and the Deathroids, it turned out to be a comic book within a comic book. The comic book was a loose adaptation of The Doctor’s adventures, based on urban myth and whispers, and written and drawn by creators Val and Sonny. The real Doctor was not overly impressed by their efforts, and decided to take them on a quick tour of the universe with him, so they write a more realistic book, relatively speaking of course.

Jason from Mnpp here - I didn't take my lead on this week's edition of "Beauty vs Beast" from Nathaniel's "On This Day" post earlier but it's not a surprise that we'd both want to mark the 67th birthday of William Hurt with an acknowledgment of Broadcast News, because I think any sane person will snatch the chance to talk about Broadcast News when it's offered. I did actually contemplate a couple other of Hurt's performances for a minute - maybe Body Heat or The Accidental Tourist? But he's made a career of making the women across from him shine and I knew Kathleen Turner & Geena Davis would dominate those conversations...
... as would Holly Hunter, which is also why we're keeping her out of this even though it's Holly's birthday today too. Sorry, Holly! You'd win way too hard.
But does Hurt stand a chance against Albert Brooks' sweaty sidekick Aaron?...

Was this a Supernatural episode to remember?
Dean may have lost his mind on Supernatural Season 12 Episode 11, but there was plenty to take in. From the comedic to the dramatic, this was an episode that really captured that memory loss for the character.
But what about those witches? Were they fantastic villains?
Join TV Fanatic staff writers Sean McKenna and Christine Laskodi and The Winchester Family Business’ Alice and Nightsky as they talk about “Regarding Dean.”
So turn on your light sticks and join in the latest Supernatural Round Table!
What was your favorite scene or quote?
Alice: No contest. I’m going with the ending montage with Dean on the mechanical bull and his other fun antics in the episode to the tune of Bobby Goldsboro’s “Broomstick Cowboy.”
The whole scene was out in left field, didn’t really fit with the episode, but I loved it anyway.

Every week, the CriticWire Survey asks a select handful of film and TV critics two questions and publishes the results on Monday morning. (The answer to the second, “What is the best film in theaters right now?” can be found at the end of this post.)
This week’s question: What was the best film of summer 2016?
Charles Bramesco (@intothecrevasse), Rolling Stone
Gosh, where to start! It’s been a banner summer if, like me, you enjoy submerging yourself in vast unending ocean of incomprehensible bullshit at the movies. There was “Suicide Squad,” which is to plot structure what the Elephant Man is to facial bone structure. Loved me some “X-Men: Apocalypse,” an epic battle between an uncomfortable-looking ensemble of interesting-to-talented actors and a script intent on turning them all into cardboard cutouts. “The Shallows” was fun in the way that completing the maze on the back of a cereal box is fun,...

When Alistair Overeem made his Ufc debut in 2011, he did it against the biggest opponent possible: former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. It was supposed to be a title eliminator, and Overeem won after a vicious blast to Lesnar’s midsection. Lesnar crumpled, not far removed from surgery for diverticulitis.
Overeem was on a huge high – briefly, before failing a drug test weeks removed from the fight. Though still within the window allotted time for testing as part of Overeem’s conditional license for the fight, the win for Overeem was not changed to a No Contest, though it could have been, and Lesnar did not contest the decision.
Since then, however, Mma fans have derided Overeem, most notably when he suffered crushing losses to Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva, Travis Browne, and Ben Rothwell. And Lesnar never seemed to leave his mind, despite Overeem’s win over the WWE star.

Ufc Fight Night: Bisping vs. Silva takes place Saturday night, live from London’s O2 Arena. At long last, England’s Michael Bisping gets his wish: to fight the legendary Anderson Silva.
The only problem with this scenario is that it’s Anderson Silva, 2016 edition, otherwise known as post Ped-test failure, year-long suspension Silva, not Anderson Silva, ‘Greatest of All Time’, Ufc Middleweight champion. Sadly, for Bisping, that fight will never happen, because when Silva was in his prime, Bisping seemed incapable of winning the big fights, or putting together enough wins in a row to justify a title shot.
Now? Well, Bisping owns back-to-back wins for the first time since 2011, which is enough to see him in a headlining fight against Silva, who hasn’t fought since beating Nick Diaz early last year, then seeing the win turned to a No Contest after testing positive for multiple banned substances.

Which actors will take home the gold at this year's Oscars? While it's a nice thought that the winners in each category will ascend the steps of the Dolby Theatre based on merit alone, we all know that's not how it works in this silly town. Judging the quality of a specific performance relative to other performances is a highly subjective thing, and certainly subject to pre-existing biases. With that in mind, is it any less ridiculous to predict the winners in each category based on age, height, net worth and relationship status? I say it's not! Let's have some fun. Below, my rankings and predicted winners in each category based on totally irrelevant personal stats. (Note: All "net worth" numbers are based on 100% accurate Google search results.) Best Actress 5. Saoirse Ronan, Brooklyn Height: 5'6" Age: 21 Net worth: $2.5 million Relationship status: Single? 4. Brie Larson, Room Height: 5'7" Age: 26 Net worth...

WWE once again teased the idea that Sheamus is going to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase at Night of Champions. The show progressed the current storylines in some ways, but then they took some step backs by booking some odd finishes or completely ignoring the idea of booking a finish.

No broadcast. No orchestra interrupting drunken speeches. No contest that Palm Springs hosts the first and most fun star-studded gala of the season.

When talented writers and artists sit around and discuss new comic book characters they can create, how often in their conversations is it automatically assumed that the characters they’re thinking up are automatically white males unless stated otherwise? I am not a comic book creator, so I don’t have an answer to this question. I am just genuinely curious. It seems far too often that white male characters are the “default setting” in today’s Western media (from comics and video games, to television and movies). That’s a problem.
A defense one can make in regards to our overly-white media is that writers (for example) are often told to “write what you know”. In the American comic book industry, white males are the large majority of those creating the comics. That’s also a problem.

Fourteen years ago, the collective Subway Cinema created what would become known as the New York Asian Film Festival as a nearly word-of-mouth affair at Anthology Film Archives under the moniker Asian Films Are Go!! Refreshingly anarchistic, it was an intimate patch-up of cinema and circus. In 2010, the festival found digs uptown at the Film Society of Lincoln Center's Walter Reade Theater, where it continues with its latest edition this Friday. Hey, the Walter Reade is the best, but…what all did Subway gain by downplaying its hip-‘n-funky quotient when most edgy and outsider cinema was heading toward, say, Brooklyn? Dcp projector. Right. Efficient ushering. Check. Comfort. No contest. Appearance. Appearance? "Asians are status conscious," executive director and co-founder Goran Topalovic said. ★★★☆☆With the nation's attention fixed on Rio and the 2014 World Cup, passions are running high. And yet, despite the lavish excesses and camaraderie that comes with such an illustrious event, football is still seen by many as a "weaker" sport. Up against rugby, for example, some would say footballers are akin to the 'London Silly Nannies' from Seth McFarlane's Family Guy. Put them up against the daredevils that grace motorcycle road-racers? No contest. When watching the potentially deadly motorsport on television, and indeed in Michael Hewitt and Dermot Lavery's Road (2014), the thrills and spills are electric: the sound of a bike tearing past us as they race to catch their opponents to the finish line.

Here are six awards I'd like to see handed out
Most terrifying future technology
The winner is Her. Not for Samantha, who shows us a future where the importance of human interaction has diminished. Nor for Joaquin Phoenix's website, offering to write creepy heartfelt personal letters for people too busy to connect emotionally. No, it's because of the trousers. Who could possibly want to live in a future where everyone looks like Simon Cowell?
Film to inspire the most tedious broadsheet thinkpieces
If The Wolf of Wall Street wins an Oscar, we'll be reading: "Can we really forgive the bankers yet?" columns for weeks. If 12 Years a Slave wins, it'll be: "Why I've decided that slavery is bad". But if Blue Jasmine wins, we're done for. It'll be wall-to-wall Woody Allen opinions for the rest of the year. Let's give it this award and hope that's enough.
Tom Hanksiest Tom Hanks
No contest.

No actress of modern times has subjected matrimony to more vigorous onscreen interrogation than Kate Winslet. What began in a fit of melodrama, with Winslet threatening to throw herself from the aft of the Titanic rather than face loveless marriage to caddish Billy Zane, has turned into a series of fine-grained portraits – in Little Children, Revolutionary Road, Mildred Pierce – of suburban drudges, marooned in their marriages, doomed by their intelligence, staring at the dust motes.
Her happy marriage to Alan Rickman at end of Sense & Sensibility is beginning to look like the joker in the pack. Winslet's early performances fizzed like firecrackers, giddy with their own freedom, but now she dulls her own innate brightness to play American Madame Bovaries. Then she sets something loose in their...

One night after the 2014 "Royal Rumble" and it looks like this will be an interesting episode of "WWE Raw." Not for the reasons WWE had hoped, though. When the show went off the air with Batista winning the 30-man match, destined for the "Wrestlemania XXX" main event, the audience booed loudly.
Something special and unique to professional wrestling happened during the show, and has been building to this point for months. The crowd wanted to see Daniel Bryan enter the match and win. After losing early in the show, they had convinced themselves he would end the night on top of the world.
That didn't happen though, which angered the fans. Even WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley registered his unhappiness with the outcome.
Now WWE have an interesting conundrum on their hands. Batista's return to the company has been their biggest announcement of the year and something they need to see through.

The Asylum and killer sharks are like peanut butter and jelly- an American classic. And that delicious pairing continues with Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark, the latest output from the studio that never quite understood the concept of “shame.” Once more, enlarged marine life emerges from the seas to threaten all mankind. Once more, common sense is thrown out the window, as the military decides the best course of action is to fight stupid with stupid and build an equally gigantic robot shark. Once more, the cast is dotted with minor celebrities trying to keep their careers afloat- this time, it’s singer Debbie Gibson and actor Christopher Judge (better known as “that dude with the thing on his head from Stargate Sg-1). Yet the biggest difference between Mecha Shark and this summer’s superhit (as far as cheap shark movies go) Sharknado, is that this time, no one really cares. A...

✒ As the BBC's use of nugs (plugs posing as news) becomes increasingly irksome – not only more of them, but they're allowed to spool on endlessly – competition to make the one that most annoys viewers and listeners in a given week has intensified. Last week's clear front-runners were Will Gompertz, for a five-minute Doctor Who-plugging visit to the Tardis repeatedly incessantly in news output, and James Naughtie, smashing Today's schedule to bits with a typically expansive appetiser for his programme on the Gettysburg address. No contest, for Telegraph editor Tony Gallagher. "So Radio 4 sport is now five minutes late as Jim warbles on," he grumpily tweeted, and retweeted approvingly someone calling it "somewhat ironic that the notoriously loquacious James Naughtie [is] doing an extended essay on a 270-word speech".

Joss Whedon has a way with words. That's the crux of his reason for hating the word "feminist," which he opens up about in a speech at Equality Now's "Make Equality Reality" event on Nov. 4.
"I hope I'm being clear, I didn't say I hate feminists, that would be weird," he says. "I said I hate feminist. I'm talking about the word."
He goes on to clarify, "You can't be born an 'ist.' It's not natural. ... 'Feminist' includes the idea that believing men and women to be equal, believing all people to be people, is not a natural state. That we don't emerge assuming that everybody in the human race is a human. That the idea of equality is just an idea that is imposed on us."
His solution? There should be a new word that makes it clear that "you either believe that women are people or you don't.

Supernatural fans bore witness to Abaddon's rise to power this week, as "Devil May Care" focused on the return of this redheaded knight and her plans for Crowley.
Was our Round Table team of Carissa Pavlica, Sean McKenna and Alice (from Winchester Family Business) happy to have Abaddon back? Do they want to see more hunters akin to Tracy? And what is their take on Dean's speech to Kevin?
Gather around below and join in the lively Supernatural debate...
-------------------------------------------
What was your favorite scene from the episode?
Carissa: Ezekiel shining his angel though Sam was great. I can still remember the first time we saw Cas do that and the visual still packs a punch - especially coming from one of our beloved Winchester boys, even if it's via angel possession.
Alice: No contest, because it was the most badass thing we've seen on Supernatural in a while. The...

Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan were at each other’s throats, fighting for the championship yet again at WWE Battleground on Oct. 6 when total chaos broke out. So who was the winner? Find out below, along with the rest of the winners (and losers) from WWE Battleground.
WWE Battleground 2013 on Oct. 6 was set to be the next chapter in the Randy Orton-Daniel Bryan rivalry, easily the best in professional wrestling. It was a pretty insane night of wrestling, with a bevy of primetime matches. So who won what?

Comic-Con is a Reality Distortion Zone carefully constructed by very powerful forces: The fans, who’ve traveled a long way and are in a mood to enjoy themselves; the studio publicity teams, who know how crucial a half an hour at Comic-Con can be to a project’s long-term prospects; the celebrities, who fill Hall H and Ballroom 20 with the fairy dust of fame; the geek-bloggerati opinion-industrial complex, forever in the act of judging every minor detail of every major film; and the mainstream media, taking pictures of the celebrities.
What this means is that people will cheer for everything.

One word…
…Wow!
Twenty four hours later, I’m still digesting the hotness that was Man Of Steel.
Now, I’m not a critic, I’m a scoop guy so don’t expect a full blown critical analysis of the movie. There are lots of guys who critique movies way better than I do, but I figured I give you guys my thoughts since so many of you are asking me for them.
Today I saw a lot of straight up ridiculousness from other critics who were either expecting a sequel to Bryan Singer’s abomination or are still way too married to Donner’s classic first film. Some people just don’t get it.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Donner’s first Superman film, but come on dudes it ain’t scripture.
The other argument that this movie doesn’t have any wit? That is just straight up corny.

Here it is, the very first episode of The X-Files. I admit, I was excited to start the series up and revisit this beloved story of two intrepid FBI agents searching for the answer to the question “are we alone in this universe (and who is covering it up)?” The pilot episode is essentially the entire series, all handily packaged into forty-seven minutes. We have aliens, we have flirty repartee, we have small town and big government cover-ups. Hell, we even have the smoking man! The story is engaging with a bit of suspense, disbelief and finally, revelations. It’s rare for a series that captured...
