Jenny McCarthy became a celebrity in the mid-90s with the help of Playboy and MTV. The show was an attempt to capitalize on her popularity while trying to convince the world she had more talent than making faces and posing nude. Yet, bad writing, bad acting, poor production values, and a complete lack of insight into the genre of the situation comedy sank the show almost immediately. The fact it went on for seventeen episodes exhibited a certain level of denial in the high offices of all involved. The one bright spot in the show was Heather Paige Kent who struggled to do something with her character when there was not much for her to do. Given the expectations at the time, the show can only be described as a disappointment.
