Apparently, Piers Morgan doesn’t think Chrissy Teigen is all that worthy of being included in the Time 100.
British media personality Morgan tore into “Lip Sync Battle” presenter and social-media darling Teigen on Wednesday after her inclusion on Time’s list, characterizing her as “vile.”
Morgan offered his assessment on (where else?) Twitter, reacting to a tweet summarizing chef Eric Ripert’s write-up of Teigen for the Time 100.

“”What I love most about @chrissyteigen is that she’s very much herself. She may be glamorous and an icon in elegance, but she’s extremely approachable and warm,” writes @ericripert #TIME100,” Time’s tweet read.
Morgan’s summation was much more pithy — and far less complimentary.
“Oh please… she’s vile,” Morgan responded.

The TV Academy showered Anthony Bourdain with posthumous Emmys this evening, including Best Nonfiction Writing and Best Informational Series or Special, for CNN’s Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown.
By the time the dust settled, Bourdain’s program had bagged five Emmys – the most for one year in the series history.
Producer Lydia Tenaglia noted it was Bourdain’s first best-writing statuette.
“Tony was nominated for this Emmy many times, but it had always eluded him. So it is with tremendous bittersweetness that I accept it on his behalf,” she said pointedly, accepting Bourdain’s writing win.
Describing Bourdain’s writing as “always fiercely intelligent, very real, no bullshit” she nonetheless said he would have thanked his longtime lit agent, CNN execs, etc.
“Actually, he wouldn’t have done that at all,” she continued, giving attendees whiplash and something to think about.

Following the death of Anthony Bourdain on Friday, Rose McGowan has released a lengthy statement asking the media and fans not to place blame on anyone for the famed chef’s suicide.
McGowan wrote that she was speaking on behalf of friend Asia Argento, who had been in a relationship with Bourdain since 2017. In the statement, the actress and activist said, “I know so many around the world thought of Anthony Bourdain as a friend and when a friend dies, it hurts. Many of these people who lost their ‘friend’ are wanting to lash out and blame. You must not sink to that level. Suicide is a horrible choice, but it is that person’s choice.”
She went on to detail the relationship between Bourdain and Argento, and how both struggled with depression, particularly this year, as Argento was one of many woman to bring harassment allegations against Harvey Weinstein.
