Ever since the Premier League began in 1992, it has quickly become the most successful and competitive of all the European leagues, despite the recent allure of playing in Spain or Germany. With Everton struggling through the 1990s under the reign of Mike Walker and then Walter Smith, Toffees fans were subjected to some truly uninspiring players turning out every week in the famous Royal Blue.
When David Moyes joined in 2002, the club’s fortunes began to rise as he led the club to European qualifications, their famous Champions League qualification in the 2004/2005 season and an Fa Cup final appearance against Chelsea in 2009. His 11 years at the club are widely regarded as successful despite his inability to win a trophy, yet while they continued to grow, the club still managed to have players on their books that the fans would rather forget.

"Two gerbils in a pet shop are talking and one says to the other: 'If Richard Gere comes in tell him you're a hamster.'"
That's a hacky old joke, but behind every joke lies a kernel of truth, right? Right? Richard Gere is many things: An actor, a Buddhist, an officer, a gentleman and drinking buddies with the Dalai Lama. We left off 'extreme bestiality sexual deviant' because we're still not sure where we stand on this whole "gerbilling" thing, so we dug deep (really deep) to find out just how far this thing goes.
Yes, it's another chapter of Hollywood Myths. We exposed the naked truth about Jamie Lee Curtis, and now it's time to poke and prod the man of "Pretty Woman."

The Premier League has seen some of the greatest managers of all time: with the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson, Sir Bobby Robson and Jose Mourinho just some of the names to have graced the technical areas of the world’s best league.
However, since its formation in 1992 the league has seen some clueless gaffers come in and do a horrendous job – managers who were out of their depth, lacking control and just without an idea.
Here is a run down of ten of the worst performances by managers in Premier League history.
10. Mike Walker – Everton
We head all the way back to 1994 for our first manager on the list in the form of Everton’s Mike Walker. In January 1994 Walker replaced Howard Kendall as Everton manager and set about trying to impose himself on the Merseyside club.

One of the questions that arose after the last episode of Homeland was whether or not Nicholas Brody would really join forces with the CIA to help take down Abu Nazir. Though he admitted that there was a plot against America in the works, acknowledged what led to him acquiring terrorist ties, and gave up several names (including Roya Hamad), he failed to disclose everything that he had been involved in and couldn't admit to wearing a vest the day of the shooting. Was his agreeing to aid the people hunting down his former friend a result of extenuating circumstances (i.e. emotional manipulation from Carrie, the lack of sleep, the desire to do anything to get out of that chair)? Or has Brody turned a corner regarding where his allegiances lie?
The next episode of Homeland finds Brody beginning his next mission (and first with the CIA), which will...

In 2001 the Left Behind franchise made its way to the movies starring Kirk Cameron and now Nicolas Cage is in negotiations to topline a reboot of the Christian-themed movie trilogy.
Furthermore, the project has found its director in Vic Armstrong, best known for his stunt work on Hollywood films since the 1960s.
Based on the mega-successful books written by Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins, Paul Lalonde will produce the action thriller with Michael Walker, and co-write the script with John Patus, who worked on the final entry 2005s Left Behind: World at War.
Christian beliefs are again at the center of the new movie, but the story will be in the mold of a classic disaster film since the plot takes place during the first few hours after the Rapture and focuses on survivors.
Filming is expected to start in Baton Rouge, Louisiana next spring and Samuel Goldwyn Films are planning a fourth-quarter 2013 release date.

Legendary stunt coordinator and second unit director Vic Armstrong is making a very rare jump into the director’s chair for the rebooted Left Behind movie. Armstrong is in negotiations to direct Nicolas Cage, who is making a deal to star in what producers hope will be a new trilogy based on the mega-successful Christian-themed books written by Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins. Ashton Kutcher upset Demi Moore by accidentally hitting their home with stray golf balls. The "Just Married" actor, who was desperately trying to improve his swing in the garden of the lavish home he shares with his spouse, kept miss-hitting and ended up smashing one of their windows by mistake.

The necessity for a third Ghostbusters film is highly debatable and has been the topic of fans ever since this story popped up a few months ago. Bloody-Disgusting cites a recent visit to Howard Stern's show by National Enquirer gossip wrangler Mike Walker, during which Walker added fuel to the fire that Ghostbusters III may not happen. The sticking point, of course, is Bill Murray.

Another problem could be standing on the way of "Ghostbusters 3". Despite all the talks of "Ghostbusters 3," the film cannot move forward unless all the stars and director Ivan Reitman approve of the script. Fortunately for fans, everyone is onboard, except one... Bill Murray. National Enquirer gossip columnist Mike Walker stopped by the Howard Stern Show yesterday to play "the gossip game", where everyone guesses which of the four gossip stories is fake. One of the true stories turned out to be about the behind-the-scenes issues on "Ghostbusters 3." "Dan Aykroyd called 'ol pal and Ghostbusters co-star Bill Murray and snarled 'stop acting like a jerk'," said Walker. "Murray, despite agreeing to doing the film, has suddenly turned so cranky and mean [that] he refuses to answer phone calls." Sources says that producers have already handed Murray the script and have been waiting for his approval. But they haven't been able to get him on the phone to talk about his thoughts on the script or his involvement.

Despite constant rumors to the contrary, there's still been no progress on getting a Ghostbusters 3 actually made, with directors shuffling in and out and the script getting rewritten and, oh yeah, the original Ghostbusters balking at every turn. While Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis always seem happy to suit up for another go-round, the sticking point has always been Bill Murray, a guy who has been more of a professional pain in the ass than an actor for the last decade. (Hey, more power to him. He's earned the right to ignore us) Now gossip of Murray's stubbornness has reached so far as a segment on the Howard Stern show. As recapped by Bloody Disgusting, National Enquirer gossip columnist Mike Walker visited Howard Stern and updated him on the behind-the-scenes drama of Ghostbusters 3: "Dan Aykroyd called 'ol pal and Ghostbusters co-star Bill Murry and snarled 'stop acting like a jerk',...

It's no secret that Bill Murray is a pain in the ass. It's also no secret that Mr. Murray has been the (main) hold-up on Columbia Pictures' third Ghostbusters film (Ghostbusters 3, the long-gestured sequel that's ready to roll from a screenplay by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky. While recent news circulated that Columbia Pictures wants to replace director Ivan Reitman, National Enquirer gossip columnist claims that the recent hold-up is due to Murray's inability to cooperate, which is causing a rift between the stars/producers. National Enquirer gossip columnist Mike Walker was on the Howard Stern Show yesterday playing his regular "gossip game", where Howard and company have to guess which story is fake. One of the True stories told revolved around the behind-the-scenes issues between Murray and the other Ghostbusters.

Just for the record: I am not gay, as my wife will attest."
And the inflammatory statement has riled Baldwin once again. He tells the New York Post, "Yes, he (Walker) is a goat-footed, wheezy, old queen,...

Nicollette Sheridan was rushed to hospital after a horse riding accident. The 'Desperate Housewives' actress reportedly needed emergency medical treatment for a head wound after she was "bucked off" her horse while not wearing a riding helmet. According to National Enquirer writer Mike Walker: "Nicolette galloped bareback near her San Fernando Valley estate in pouring rain - and suddenly got bucked off by her not-so-gallant steed, slamming head-first into the top rail of a fence. Instantly knocked silly because she wasn't wearing a riding helmet... and barely able to move as she lay in thick mud about 100 feet from her stable." However, the 46-year-old star was soon found by her boyfriend, businessman Steve Pate - who rushed her to...

Not every single British limited series can hit it out of the park, unfortunately. Following closely on the heels of the superlative and gripping thriller Place of Execution, the ambitious Collision--which launches Sunday evening as part of PBS' Masterpiece Contemporary strand and is currently airing across the week in the UK on ITV1--doesn't reach the dizzying heights or emotional sucker punch of Place of Execution. Written by Anthony Horowitz and Michael A. Walker, the five-part Collision (which will air in two installments in the States) circles the aftermath of a fatal highway road accident, which leaves several parties dead or injured but which manages to derail the lives of everyone even tangentially involved, from the police detective investigating the cause of the crash to a Happy Chef waitress whose workplace was just down the road from the site of the fatal accident. As its narrative unfolds in a series of shifting perspectives,...

In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, Oscar-winning filmmaker and activist James Lecesne's decision to bring a production of the Off-Broadway musical "Once on This Island" to the storm-ravaged city of New Orleans was both obvious and inspired, with an extra layer of resonance provided in the casting of local kids affected firsthand by the disaster. Captured by director Hilla Medalia, this documentary takes us behind the scenes of the production to follow 12 young actors...
