Larsa Pippen has been in the news of late for her rumored romantic involvement with Marcus Jordan, son of basketball legend Michael Jordan.
The couple was spotted together at a Halloween party in Los Angelos. Photos show the duo dressed as Red Riding Hood and The Big Bad Wolf.
On Sunday, photos were taken of Pippen and Jordan enjoying themselves in Miami Beach.
One of the four photos that got the rumor mill going again had Jordan with his arms around Pippen as they walked across the beach, both seemingly enjoying the day. Another had Pippen wrapping her arm around him. The last of the four photos had the duo sitting side by side beneath an umbrella. Jordan even planted a kiss on her shoulder.
Pippen insisted last month that the two were only “friends.” She told People, “We’ve been friends for a few years and that’s really what it is.

From #BouncyHouseGate to #NapGate, Corinne continues to bring the drama on this season of The Bachelor.
The Bachelor Season 21 Episode 4 brought Nick and his girlfriends from La to Wisconsin, but that didn't stop the show from being all about Corinne.
The girls are (understandably) upset that Nick decided to makeout with Corinne in the bouncy house, and Vanessa confronts him about it. It's safe to say she might be the most mature person to ever appear on this franchise. Nick

Chicago – It was announced last week on March 22nd, 2016, that a hip-hop pioneer, Phife Dawg of the group “A Tribe Called Quest,” passed away at the age of 45. It was Phife, along with Q-Tip, Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Jarobi White, that created a new voice in the evolution from rap to hip hop.
In 2011, a documentary regarding the group, “Beats Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest’ was released, and Phife Dawg was on the promotional tour for the film. In appreciation of his life and music contributions, HollywoodChicago.com reprints the interview from that tour.

HollywoodChicago.com: Phife, you talk about your childhood with Q-Tip growing up in Queens. What was that time and place like and how did it influence and inspire your eventual hip-hop career?
Phife Dawg: New York City pretty much reeked of music.

This week’s edition of Smackdown took place in Portland, Oregon on Tuesday night. Here are the results from the show.
Smackdown began with a tribute to the late great Roddy Piper. His family was shown at ringside because he was beloved in the Portland area and the family lived there for many years.
Seth Rollins did a show opening promo bragging about how he’s the best pro wrestler alive and on the same level as sports icons Michael Jordan and Babe Ruth. He mentioned John Cena on Tough Enough and how he wanted Cena to accept his Title vs. Title challenge. Neville walked out to challenge Rollins to a WWE Title match. Then Cesaro showed up to ask Rollins for a title shot. Kevin Owens attacked Cesaro while Rollins went after Neville and that set up the main event tag match for later.

Space Jam wasn’t really a very good movie. Or it was the greatest movie ever, depending on who you ask.
Regardless of your feelings about the film itself, the 87 minute vehicle to expand on the idea of Bugs Bunny appearing with NBA great Michael Jordon to hock Nike shoes has permanently etched for itself a place in the internet subconscious. Heck, the original movie website still exists online as a living monument to the web design of the early 90’s.
But perhaps what resonates more than anything else is the theme song, as sung by the Quad City DJ’s. In recent years, fans have taken the song and mashed it up with just about any other song they can find. Sometimes the results are as bad as you can imagine, but other times they’re quite good, either by being funny, fitting, or even just overall pleasing to listen to.

Honestly what does Doom not run on at this point?
We previously reported that someone got Doom to run on Atm machines. We then decided there is pretty much nothing left that Doom doesn't run on. Then today we learned we were wrong, Doom now runs on printers.... printers!
A hacker by the name of Michael Jordon took time off from his basketball career to figure out how to get Doom running on printers. Okay, we are joking, this isn't the same Michael Jordon, but he did get Doom running on a Cannon printer.
According to him the Cannon Pixma has an online browser feature that left it open to hacking. The printer itself has a 32 bit Arm processor, proper memory, and even a perfectly good screen. The bad part was the firmware itself was not proper for running the game, which lead into the oddly colored scene in the video.

Acting and basketball don't immediately seem to have much in common — one involves running, jumping, passing, dribbling and heaving a big orange ball through a ten-foot-high net; the other involves standing in front of a camera. So it's safe to say that being good at one does not make you good at the other.
That hasn't stopped plenty of basketball players from making the leap to feature films, though. So with March Madness upon us, we thought we'd take a look at basketball stars whose acting turns were either slam dunks — or flagrant fouls.
We've ranked the players from worst to best in terms of their acting, but ranking them in terms of their basketball skills would be much tougher: Every one of the eight players on our list won at least one NBA championship. But do any of them have a chance at an Oscar? Check it out and let the Madness begin.

Unmade Classics: Part 1 of 2:
The film industry is a place for ideas but not all those ideas will reach the big screen. Many projects are announced each year and most of them will reach the pre-production stage but many will go no further. Only about half of the films announced will ever be completed. For various reasons, many intended movies will just fade away. Some may die during the script writing stage, while other will actually begin production before the whims of fortune cause the demise of the project. Here is Part One of a list of 25 tantalizing unmade films that could have been classics.
The Adventures of Flash Gordon: In the mid-1970s, George Lucas was enjoying critical success from his American Graffiti films. Being a life-long science fiction fan, he was planning to make a big-Budget film version of Flash Gordon. He had many ideas for...

Mouse boy! Between that denim shirt and those gawky front teeth, 12-year-old Ryan Gosling, “Canada’s only official Mousketeer,” just shoved the fact it’s Ryan Reynolds‘ birthday clean out of our brains. Hope you had a great day up until right now, Rey! “I hit the roof. It was so funny,” Gosling told CTV’s Canada Am about his being cast in Disney’s The Mickey Mouse Club in that adorably thick Canadian accent. Aside from the squee-worthy snippets of him playing the drums and dancing a spastic elbow-centric dance, Ryan definitely handles himself like a champ: cracking jokes about Florida, explaining what a tutor is and hoping Michael Jordan and Michael Jackson will stop by the show for a cameo. “That’s basically what the show’s aboot,” Baby Gosling smiles. Aboooot! Ryan Reynolds, who? Thank god Blake Lively didn’t see this clip a few weeks ago.

Roll Call: Ryan!
Before Ryan Gosling was breaking achy breaky hearts, he was singing "Achy Breaky Heart" ... a performance that helped him get into the Mickey Mouse Club.
Yes, the "Drive" star got his start as a Mousketeer, a gig that made him the pride of the Great White North for beating over 15,000 other contestants to become the only Canadian member of the beloved Disney troupe.
Gosling won the role in 1993, when we was a super-cute 12-year-old with big dreams of meeting both Michael Jackson and Michael Jordan. Watch his interview on CTV's Canada Am below, courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter, and marvel at the fact that this sweet kid will one day grow up to play a guy who smashes a dude's head to a pulp with his steel-toed boots in an elevator.

Just days before Lance Armstrong was stripped of all seven Tour de France titles and banned from the sport of cycling for life over doping allegations, the cyclist hosted his annual Livestrong cancer benefit in Austin, Texas. Unlike previous years, when the red carpet was packed with his celebrity friends, only pal Sean Penn showed up and talked to the press.
“It was shocking that Robin Williams and Norah Jones skipped the red carpet and entered through the back door,” one celebrity watcher tells me. “Plus, where was Matthew McConaughey? These two used to be very close friends, and he even lives in Austin.”
Not a single image of Armstrong and any of the aforementioned guests at the event has been released. In the past, the Livestrong benefit received the support of many celebrities, including Halle Berry, Matt Damon, Hilary Duff, Michael Jordan, Jay Leno, Will Smith, Sharon Stone and Mark Wahlberg.

Could there be a new trend in the field of feature-length documentaries? After last year’s Oscar winner Undefeated and the surprise box office success of this year’s Searching For Sugarman, are we seeing a spate of “feel-good” doc? They’ve had an unfair rep as dour and somber for quite some time now. Many film goers avoid them completely, feeling that they’re the movie equivalent of a dull lecture or homework (“shudder”)! But The Other Dream Team is a truly uplifting movie. And to quote one of the film’s subjects, “What a long, strange, trip it’s been”.

Fans of both basketball legend, Michael Jordan, and McDonald's now have the opportunity to own a $9,995 bottle of McJordan BBQ sauce. The 20 year-old gallon container of the smoky condiment has had over 30 offers to purchase, but for those financially conscious fans who aren't willing to splurge to recreate an authentic McJordan burger, the same sauce is also used as a dip for McDonald's McNuggets (and much considerably fresher).

Can you guess which part made Rich upset? Surprise! It was the whole thing. Rich fired back (multiple times) on Twitter, writing, “”@clayaiken:@cowboytroy We drink every time we see a black person at the Rnc//Clay! You should be ashamed for racist comments like That!

Astronaut Neil Armstrong’s death last week at 82 brings to mind… well, an awful lot of stuff. If I were to put it all in one folder, I would name that folder “Passion and Wonder.”
Passion is the binding force of our lives. Wonder is what keeps us moving forward, what propels us into the future. Passion and wonder combine to create the most vital force in nature.
Passion plus wonder is a formula. Passion plus wonder equals H.G. Wells. Passion plus wonder equals Alice Guy-Blaché. Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Nicola Tesla. Bessie Coleman. George Washington Carver. Ray Bradbury. Jack Kirby. Terry Gilliam. Michael Jordan. Sinead O’Conner. Alan Moore. Passion plus wonder equals Harlan Ellison. Martin Luther King, Jr.

If not for passion and wonder, our 21st Century would look exactly like Galileo’s father’s 16th Century. Most of us would be living in small villages,...

Star and matchmaker on Bravo's hit show Miss Advised, Amy Laurent, certainly tells it like it is.
On August 21, I sat waiting patiently for Amy to show up at the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation Summer party in a nondescript building/club called No.8, I wondered, how is it that this professional matchmaker is still single? And why is she late despite the fact that lateness is one of her biggest pet-peeves? Well, Amy finally showed up for the event and, as it turns out, she had a valid reason. Obama was in town jamming up midtown traffic for his $20,000-a-head campaigning dinner/game of hoops with Michael Jordan, so I had to let her slide.
Speaking of sliding, I guess girls really do put themselves through more than us guys know just to keep themselves looking pretty. Being true to her reputation of being 'real,...

NBA sensation. Olympic gold medalist. Movie star? Ok, so Kevin Durant isn.t a triple-threat just yet, but he.s making his bid to join fellow basketball greats Michael Jordan and Shaquille O.Neal by putting a feature-length movie on his resume. Thunderstruck stars Durant as himself, the Oklahoma City Thunder superstar who, in a bit of Freaky Friday-trickery, transfers his basketball skills to a high school teen (Taylor Gray). Warner Bros. invited my sons . huge Durant fans . to Dallas recently to speak with the 23-year-old superstar about his movie debut, as well as his recent run through the Summer Games in London. Here are the five most important things we learned: 1. He keeps his gold medal . In his backpack. For the moment. But that.s primarily because he hasn.t been home since he left London, where he and the 2012 Dream Team won Gold in the men.s...

President Obama's got game. The campaigning incumbent hit Manhattan's Chelsea Piers on Wednesday to catch basketball stars Carmelo Anthony, Kyrie Irving, Patrick Ewing, Sheryl Swoopes and Joe Johnson in action – and he was expected to shoot some hoops while he was at it. Obama was joined at the sports complex on the Hudson by NBA legend Michael Jordan for the culmination of sporty activities and fund-raising the president's team dubbed the Obama Classic. The president and Jordan were the guests of honor at the big finish, a $20,000-per-person dinner that...

Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Larry Byrd at the Olympics, crushing dudes and destroying national pride with every dunk and steal and pass. That’s cool and all, and it changed the way America viewed the Olympic games, but let’s face it, it lacked real drama. Was anyone really going to beat them? Of course not. But what about the Lithuanian National Team in the same year, at the same Olympics, featuring a roster that included players who could, finally, play for their country after decades of conscription into the Russian national team? And to eventually have to go up against the Russians, the overlords of their recently freed nation for half a century? Now That is some drama there, folks. Check out a trailer and poster for the documentary “The Other Dream Team”. It’s a documentary, so you know how it’s going to end, but it’s still pretty damn cool.

When one thinks of a possible Jay-z feature film, the first collaborator that comes to mind is likely not Ron Howard. But such is the case, as we’ve learned the director of A Beautiful Mind, The Da Vinci Code and Frost/Nixon is teaming with the hip-hop icon to capture an upcoming concert, one he was heavily involved in creating.
New York Post reports that Howard and his longtime producer Brian Grazer are set to film Jay-z‘s Made in America music festival, which kicks off on September 1st in Philadelphia. It won’t just be a simple performance documentary either, as Grazer said the film will be “born through Jay-z’s perspective…how he puts the event together. Jay stayed the king for a very long time…I can’t even begin to explain how he is capable of remaining relevant. He is a phenom, like a musical Michael Jordan.

Anticipation for Jay-z's two-day "Made in America" festival continues to build. Brian Grazer and Ron Howard will be making a movie about the event, and Steve Stoute and Jay-z himself have signed on as producers, reports Page Six.
"The festival showcases 20 pre-eminent artists that speak to the new generation. I am producing the film with Steve Stoute and Jay," Grazer told the paper. "He is a phenom, like a musical Michael Jordan."
Rap's reigning king has pulled in an illustrious line-up of diverse acts including Drake, Skrillex, Pearl Jam, Passion Pit and Odd Future. The event, which will take place in Philadelphia on Sept. 1 and 2, is sponsored by Budweiser.

If this weekend feels special for movie fans, it's not because of the trio of big-name blockbusters hitting theaters, it's because it sees a new dramatic feature -- the first in four years -- from Spike Lee, one of the most talented, idiosyncratic, maddening and controversial American filmmakers of the last thirty years. It's a rarity for a director to be instantly, iconically recognizable, but Lee's one of the exceptions, gaining visibility through starring roles in his early films, a famous appearance in a Nike ad alongside Michael Jordan, and plenty of moments when he's spoken his mind and caused an uproar. It's fortunate then, that to go with the fame and controversy, Lee has, from the beginning, been a fearsomely talented filmmaker who's moved effortlessly between features and, more recently, documentaries. He's made politically engaged cinema while still working within the mainstream (and even his most crowd-pleasing films never feel like.

Every Olympics needs its own old-school-versus-new-school controversy, and at the 2012 Games we've already seen feuds between Hope Solo and Brandi Chastain and the new Dream Team versus Old Dream Team. Now, it seems Usain Bolt is going for the trifecta, and he has Olympic legend Carl Lewis in his sights.
"Everybody's forgotten about him," says Bolt, on the back of becoming the only back-to-back 100m and 200m champion in Olympic history.
Two decades ago, Lewis was a track and field star of the highest order, winning nine gold medals and 10 overall. Regularly topping the world rankings in the 100 meter, 200 meter and long jump, he still holds many world records including the indoor long jump. Sports Illustrated named him "Olympian of the Century," and many see him as a trailblazer who took track and field from amateur to professional status and enabled those who'd follow in his footsteps to have lucrative,...

The Obama campaign is bringing in NBA heavyweights Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing, Alonzo Mourning and Carmelo Anthony to boost the president's fundraising efforts.
A new campaign contest announced on Tuesday, dubbed the "Obama Classic," gives supporters a chance to win two tickets to attend an event featuring the basketball stars and Obama. Its only caveat: Make a $3 donation to the campaign.
It's a tactic the Obama campaign employed with great success when it ran a similar contest for a fundraiser at the home of actor George Clooney in May. Supporters donated an average of $23 in hopes of winning a ticket to the event -- propelling the fundraiser's total haul to $15 million when coupled with the $40,000 individual tickets.
The campaign had originally planned a star-studded "Obama Classic Basketball Game" last year, but the event was postponed when a lockout resulted in a shortened NBA season.

He's the most decorated Olympian of all time. He's barely 27 years old, and just took home a few more medals to add to his collection. So, when Michael Phelps says he's retiring, does he really mean it?
"I'm done. I don't know if people really believe me, but I am actually finished. I'm retiring," the Olympic swimming legend tells CNN in a recent interview.
"I'm done," he repeats.
Phelps's loyal legion of fans, however, can cling to a long list of fickle fellow legends for hope. Sugar Ray Leonard announced his retirement in '82, then again in '84, then returned to beat Marvin Hagler in '87 and finally threw his last punch in 1997 - a full fifteen years after his "retirement." Perhaps the closest comparison to Phelps would be Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player of all time, who quit basketball for baseball in '92, returned in '94 and then...

Day 8 of the Olympics was a bittersweet affair. Michael Phelps and his fellow Team USA swimmers butterflied, backstroked, breaststroked, and freestyled their way to another gold, in the 4×100 medley relay. But as stirring a victory as it was, there was an undeniable whiff of sadness at the thought that it would be the last time we’ll ever see Phelps in an Olympic race.
There are so many reasons to appreciate what the Baltimore Bullet has done for the sport: the unmatchable 22 medals, the fact that he’s pretty much single-handedly inspired a whole generation (hello, Chad le Clos!) to take to the pool.

They can sprint, swim, vault and spike, but can Olympians act?
The switch from gold medals to scripted TV guest appearances isn't uncommon for Olympians. After rising to the national celebrity status that comes with being a star at the Olympics, many athletes get offers for magazine covers, advertising deals and TV appearances and cameos.
Gymnast Kerri Strug took to "Touched By An Angel" and "Clueless," tennis player Serena Williams guest starred on "ER" and "Law and Order: Svu" and basketball legend Kobe Bryant acted in "Moesha" and "Sister, Sister."
From Nastia Liukin to Michael Jordan, here are clips of some of the most memorable Olympians' TV appearances:

Well, the kids should love it. Following in the footsteps of former NBA players like Michael Jordan and Shaquille O'Neal, forward with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Kevin Durant, is starring in this ability-swapping upcoming feature film titled Thunderstuck. At first I thought it was a joke, but it's a very real film, which also stars Brandon T. Jackson. Rapper turned entrepreneur Jay-z has expanded his business portfolio by scoring an exclusive deal with video game developer, 2K Sports.
Today the company released a sneak preview clip from the latest installment of their hugely successful NBA franchise, NBA 2K13, featuring none other than Hov as the game’s executive producer.
While the brief, 24-second clip released today was impressive, featuring highlights including NBA legend Michael Jordan dunking to Jay-z's smash hit, “Public Service Announcement,” it is still unclear how much creative input the rapper has had in developing the game, which is scheduled to be released on October 2.

It's the breakfast of champions, or the champion of breakfasts: Ever since we can remember, Wheaties cereal boxes have been synonymous with celebrity athletes. Its covers have been graced by the likes of Cal Ripken Jr., Mary Lou Retton and Michael Jordan (who has appeared on the box a whopping 18 times -- more than any other athlete).
But the first athlete to appear on a Wheaties box was actually from the earlier part of the century -- baseball great Lou Gehrig in 1934 (he appeared on the back, not on the front). Wheaties eventually made the shift to featuring sports players on their covers with decathlon gold medalist Bob Richards in 1958, not to mention Bruce Jenner (yes, that Bruce Jenner), who appeared on the box in 1977 and was one of the first official Wheaties spokespeople.

Michael Jordan isn.t the greatest basketball player of all-time because he dominated thousands of games. He.s the greatest basketball player of all-time because he dominated thousands of games against the best players in the world. Greatness cannot be proven without competition, and toughness is measured the same exact way. Jason Statham.s appeal wasn.t forged through beating up random people in movies, it was built through looking fearsome characters in the eyes and ultimately prevailing through his own force of will. We respect him because of the men (and women) he.s bested, and over the course of his career, there have been a lot. Last year, Statham partnered with Robert De Niro and Clive Owen for the action thriller Killer Elite. With a savage aggression, the action star knocks off assignment after assignment, mowing down those in his path like a man possessed. The film has...

In professional sports, things rarely stay the same for long. As time passes, things will inevitably change, and the NBA is no exception. Gone are the days of well-built, post-oriented half-court teams, disappearing is the floor general as a breed of the NBA point guard and slowly leaving the game is the notion of finesse over athleticism.
As the recent signings of Deron Williams to the Brooklyn Nets and Steve Nash to the Los Angeles Lakers would suggest, teams are also changing. The ‘superteam’ is the trend of the NBA and all-stars around the league are converging to forge power duos and trios. For the four or five teams in the league fortunate enough to possess such an arrangement, the NBA is nothing short of exciting.
But, for the other twenty-five franchises around the league, this change could do more harm than good. Looking back, the first instance of a...

I’d like to take a moment, if I can, to dive back into what I admit are the thoroughly fished-out waters of the film critic Roger Ebert’s now infamous declaration that videogames cannot be Art. I want to explore this premise again, briefly, because I think that it is still in this presumptuous, ill-conceived dismissal that we can see many of the most pervasive misconceptions that continue to stifle the discussion and celebration of the videogame medium in its relative infancy.
And yes, at this point you might be thinking to yourself: but why? Why bothering referencing Ebert again?...
