Netflix is parting ways with Warrior Nun.
Deadline reported Tuesday afternoon that the cult favorite has been canceled after two seasons.
The second season of the series launched on November 10, but there was a lack of promotion for the series, likely contributing to the lower-than-expected performance.
Netflix had several opportunities to promote the show, including at its Tudum Global Fan Event, but the streaming service elected to let the show slip under the radar.
As a result, Warrior Nun Season 2 spent just three weeks in the streamer's weekly Top 10 for English-language series, with #5 being the peak.
The series also showed up on the Nielsen Streaming Chart for the week of November 7, with 595 million minutes viewed, coming in ahead of The Handmaid's Tale, Andor, and The Watcher for that week.

The fans wanted it, and the cast definitely wanted it too, but sadly, this is where the journey ends for Ingrid Yun (Arden Cho), the driven Korean American lawyer who we watched strive hard to balance her personal and professional life on Netflix's legal drama Partner Track. After airing for just one season, Netflix has cancelled the show due to lackluster ratings and its failure to meet the streamer's requirements to qualify for a renewal. Despite a promising start which saw it peak at number 4 on Netflix's Weekly Top 10 for English-language series, Parker Track struggled to maintain that position slipping off of the tightly-contested chart by the third week following its premiere on August 26 with all 10 episodes released at once. News of the cancellation was first reported by Deadline.

Netflix is parting ways with two of its freshman dramas.
The streaming service canceled Partner Track and The Imperfects.

Netflix has canceled Partner Track after one season, adding to the sadly large pile of shows the streamer has axed after just one go. The cancellation news comes after the legal drama ended on a big cliffhanger for its leading lady, Arden Cho‘s Ingrid Yun, one of the few Asian women leading a TV series at a major streamer. The romantic drama tracked Ingrid, an idealistic lawyer struggling with her moral compass as she fights to climb the partner track at the upscale New York City law firm of Parsons Valentine & Hunt. Ingrid and her legal pals, Rachel Friedman (Alexandra Turshen) and Tyler Robinson (Bradley Gibson), were the core of the series. After the series dropped its 10-episode debut season on August 26, the trio of friends became beloved by viewers. “I feel like we’re forming one of those iconic television friendships,” Gibson told TV Insider in a September interview about the series.

Exclusive: Netflix has opted not to proceed with second seasons of legal drama Partner Track, headlined by Arden Cho, and sci-fi drama The Imperfects, starring Italia Ricci.
Neither series has been a breakout. Partner Track debuted August 26 with 16.7M minutes viewed in its opening weekend and peaked at No. 4 on Netflix’s Weekly Top 10 for English-language series. The Imperfects opened at No. 3 in its debut weekend (September 8-11) before slipping. Both series spent only three weeks in the Top 10, which is not the long tail Netflix wants to see for shows that earn renewals.
Netflix brass had high expectations for Partner Track, which broke ground in representation as a romantic drama with an Asian American lead, Cho. Season 1 ended with a big cliffhanger, which indicates confidence in a show’s prospects, and the streamer had commissioned a writers room that was up and running, working on ideas for a potential second season,...

The big-budget The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power had a big opening weekend on Nielsen’s SVOD charts, outdrawing House of the Dragon among streaming users. It was not, however, the biggest opening ever for Amazon’s Prime Video in terms of total viewing time.
The Rings of Power captured 1.25 billion minutes of viewing time following its Sept. 1 premiere in the U.S., the only streaming title to top a billion minutes for the week. Arden Cho, the star of Netflix's latest romance legal drama "Partner Track," has been in the spotlight for well over a decade, but she's managed to keep her love life private. In the series, the actor plays Ingrid Yun, a tenacious lawyer who's determined to climb up the corporate ladder and become a partner at her law firm, all while navigating a love triangle with her former fling, Jeff Murphy (Dominic Sherwood), and the doe-eyed Nick Laren (Rob Heaps).
While many viewers are engrossed in Ingrid's nail-biting love woes, others are also curious about Cho's relationship status in real life. The 37-year-old "Teen Wolf" actor - who's set to star in the forthcoming live-action adaptation of "Avatar: The Last Airbender" - is notoriously tight-lipped about her romances. Case in point: Cho has only ever gone public with Ryan Higa, the popular internet personality whom she dated for nearly five years.

If you've already binge-watched all 10 episodes of Netflix's new legal drama series "Partner Track," then you are probably very familiar with actor Dominic Sherwood - and possibly have a new face pinned to your billboard of Netflix heartthrobs. Some may remember Sherwood from his three-season stint on Freeform's "Shadowhunters," in which he played series lead Jace Wayland from 2016 to 2019. On "Partner Track," he stars as Jeff Murphy, lawyer and boyfriend to series protagonist Ingrid Yun (portrayed by Arden Cho). From his character's swoonworthy side-eye to his irresistible charisma, fans are eager to see Jeff's redemption arc play out in a possible season two.
Meanwhile, some are curious as to whether Sherwood is currently single or taken. Despite their fiery onscreen chemistry, Sherwood and Cho are not an item in real life. Albeit, that wouldn't be the first time Sherwood entered a relationship with one of his costars. In recent years,...

The most frustrating turn in any romantic comedy is when the leading lady and/or man becomes a jerk. It’s a crucial moment — necessary, even — but it’s always the hump you have to endure in order to get to the part where everyone learns their lesson, embraces their truth, and kisses their hot crush to the triumphant swell of an impossibly catchy pop song that will nonetheless fade from memory by the time the credits roll. Without that annoying blip of tension, that payoff won’t be half as sweet — or, truth be told, half as earned.
Such is the conundrum facing “Partner Track,” Netflix’s frothy new comedy based on Helen Wan’s novel about lawyers fighting tooth and nail to become partner, if only they could stop getting distracted by each other. The story follows Ingrid Yun, a first-generation Korean American and the first lawyer in her family, and showcases the trials and tribulations of excelling at the prestigious (but old school) law firm, Parsons Valentine. Of course, her journey becomes even more complicated with love on the horizon.
The actress is perhaps best known for her role as Kira Yukimura in Teen Wolf from season 3 to season 5. Now, she’s bringing this incredibly fierce, intelligent, and determined book character to the screen while portraying situations that many women will (unfortunately) relate to.

Netflix’s upcoming romantic dramedy series “Partner Track,” set at a Manhattan-based white-shoe law firm, has been described as “Sex and the City” meets “Suits,” but for star Arden Cho the series is unlike any other that she’s seen on television. That’s because the story centers on a first-generation Korean American merger and acquisitions lawyer, Ingrid Yun (Cho), as she navigates everything from forbidden romance to microaggressions at the male-dominated company — something Cho said is hard to come by in shows about single 20-something women in New York City.
“Ingrid just sticks out to begin with,” Cho told TheWrap. “She is an Asian American woman, and there is some diversity at the firm but it’s very clearly noted. You’ve just got, ‘Oh, we’ve got a couple of people of color. Let’s stick them together, and that’s your diversity,‘ which is something we see happening in the world.

“Teen Wolf” actress Arden Cho has opened up about the Aapi pay disparity she experienced on the project.
Cho, who played supernatural teen Kira Yukimura in the original series, said she was offered far less than her counterparts’ salary to return for the upcoming Paramount+ revival film.
A new interview in The Cut brought up a Deadline report from February 2022 alleging that Cho turned down the film after being “offered half the per-episode salary proposed to her three counterparts.”
“I think I was actually offered even less,” Cho clarified of the staggering wage gap between co-stars that led her to turn down the film version of the MTV series. She added that whoever leaked the pay disparity wasn’t in her camp. “I probably would’ve never shared it,” she said.
“Sometimes you don’t have a choice to say ‘no.’ Sometimes you just need it. You’ve got bills to pay.
