Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth have remained close since divorcing in 2013, even vacationing together with their significant others and daughters last March at Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort in Cancún, Mexico.
Though they may have the whole co-parenting thing down, Facinelli told Lapalme magazine that it wasn’t always easy for the actors to navigate their post-marital life as they do now.
“Once a break up happens you need to go through the healing process first,” the 43-year-old Supergirl actor explained. “Love is blind and hindsight is 20/20.

Nope, no Audrey Horne on Twin Peaks this week. I think the solution to her ever-deepening mystery won’t be wrapped up for at least a few more episodes. And for the record, I do not believe she is an actress or somehow trapped inside the soap opera “Invitation To Love” from the original series. I mean, c’mon, think about it, that makes no sense. She’s an actress in a soap opera playing a character with her own name? A soap opera that references events taking place in her hometown? That’s completely absurd (right??). That theory is...

"I sometimes think, Do people find this interesting?" Todrick Hall shrugs. "Because this is my life every day and, you know, people could do this if they wanted to."
We are standing just backstage at the historic Theatre at Ace Hotel immediately following the Outfest screening of Behind the Curtain: Todrick Hall, a documentary that followed Todrick as he wrote and recorded a full-length visual album, Straight Outta Oz, then turned that album into a stage show and toured nationwide to perform it. From our vantage point behind the velvet curtain, we can watch the attendees -- hundreds of fans, friends and other industry folk -- filing out under the glimmering mirrored ceiling into the Broadway Theater District of Downtown L.A. I've asked Todrick if this all feels as glamorous to him as it seems.

No doubt about it: The 1980s was a strange time to channel surf. Those neon-tinted, big-haired, irony-free days have provided Internet curio-seekers with fodder for infinite terabytes of grainy, colorful ephemera. And one of the cornerstones of weird Eighties television was "Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling" (G.L.O.W. for short), an all-female pro-wrestling league whose exploits were filmed in Las Vegas and syndicated nationwide.

The ability to get dressed each day is something many people take for granted.
Among her many challenges, Lauren Scruggs Kennedy found it difficult to maintain her sense of style after she lost her left eye and part of her left arm in a propeller accident in 2012. [Editor’s note: The following review contains spoilers for the “Homeland” Season 6 finale, Episode 12, “America First.”]
“Homeland” painted a frightening picture of America throughout Season 6, slowly drawing back the curtain on a massive government conspiracy that resulted in a New York City bombing and an attack on the President-Elect’s life. Thrilling enough in its storytelling, especially during the tense first 20 minutes of the finale, Season 6 was made harrowing by the timely nature of its issues to our current political culture. The latest iteration of the Showtime drama argued we, the people, are not only right to be suspicious of our government, but that its current state is dangerous on a national and personal level for everyone connected to it.
“You remember what Graham Greene said, don’t you?” Dar Adal (F. Murray Abraham) told Saul (Mandy Patinkin) after he’d been arrested for his part in the conspiracy to discredit President-Elect Keane (Elizabeth Marvel). “The secret services are the only real measure of a nation’s political health.

Talk about successful co-parenting!
Though they’ve been divorced since 2013, Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli were nothing but smiles while on vacation together over the weekend — and People has exclusive images from their time at the Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort in Cancún, Mexico.
But it wasn’t a rekindling, romantic trip. The former couple was joined by their two younger daughters — Lola, 14, and Fiona, 10 — Garth’s husband Dave Abrams, and Facinelli’s girlfriend Lily Anne Harrison. (Garth and Facinelli’s eldest daughter Luca, 19, is away at college.)
“The group seemed happy, like a modern family,” an onlooker tells People.

When “The Secret History of Twin Peaks” was first announced, the book was pitched as “a novel that reveals what has happened to the people of that iconic fictional town since we last saw them 25 years ago and offers a deeper glimpse into the central mystery that was only touched on by the original series.” Finally arriving last month in advance of the long-awaited 2017 revival of the cult TV show, the book offers only a few glancing details of the former while delving deeply into the latter. Author and series co-creator Mark Frost uses the bulk of his narrative to weave the strange history of “Twin Peaks” throughout the larger tapestry of American history and the long legacy of occult conspiracies.

While Hollywood’s summer kicks off this Friday with a certain superhero showdown, the first studio feature we’re genuinely excited for this season will arrive in two weeks. Shane Black‘s The Nice Guy marks his return to the world of crime comedy, his last foray coming over a decade ago with the excellent Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Starring Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe, the 1970s-set tale follows tough guy Jackson Healy and private detective Holland March, who are working on a missing-person case.
Ahead of its release on May 20th, and even before its Cannes premiere on May 15th, Warner Bros. held the first screening last night at Austin’s Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. Complete with a post-screening Q&A featuring Gosling, Crowe, Black, and producer Joel Silver, we now have the first reactions. These are overwhelmingly positive, so it looks like Black has once again hit it out of the park.

Sarah Wayne Callies chats to us about The Other Side Of The Door and The Walking Dead...
When I first spoke to Sarah Wayne Callies in 2014 for the release of the joyous disaster movie delights of Into The Storm, it took a while to adjust to the completely different persona she exudes in real life, compared to the often quiet and maternal characters she’s played over the years. Filled with a blunt and refreshing honesty, she’ll happily share experiences – good and bad, while punctuating the air with an occasional swear word, making her an incredibly easy person to talk to.
We caught up with her, complete with cold, to discuss her latest role in The Other Side Of The Door, a horror movie that is as much a tragic family drama, as it is a grisly ghost story. Directed by Brit Johannes Roberts, the story...

Manuel here. Has it really been a year since the last time I gave thanks (not coincidentally with another pic of Ms Blanchett)? I feel as though I should be giving thanks in front of some sort of food, so imagine I’ve come with a full dozen donuts from Donut Time.
I’m thankful…
- For unabashedly queer Christmas flicks featuring fab ladies.
- For having had the chance to see over twenty-four films at the New York Film Festival (and having been in the same room as Kate Winslet!!)
- For Wiig, in all and every incarnation.
- For Joy and Joy (and consequently, Amy Poehler and Brie Larson).
- For all the delicious food on Please Like Me, a show you should all be watching!
- For Mad Men’s beautiful and perfect ending.
- For Twelve Angry Men Inside Amy Schumer, one of the greatest TV episodes this year.

Making all of your nightmares come true … Varèse Sarabande will be releasing A Nightmare On Elm Street 8-cd box set (limited 2000 units) on October 16, 2015.
This deluxe package contains all 8 soundtracks from the original series, over 8 hours of music including almost 3 hours of bonus tracks. New artwork has been commissioned for the set (by artist Shawn Conn, http://atomicdeadguy.com/), and configuring the sleeves together forms a larger piece of art. Before you have any nightmares, please don’t worry … the original Matthew Joseph Peak creations are included in the packaging.
The set comes complete with the trademark knitted Freddy sweater encasing the outer box.
The world was introduced to Wes Craven’s Freddy Krueger (portrayed by Robert Englund) in 1984 with A Nightmare On Elm Street. Krueger was a former child killer seeking revenge against the parents who burned him by haunting the dreams of their teenage children and killing them in their dreams.

Adolphe Menjou movies today (This article is currently being revised.) Despite countless stories to the contrary, numerous silent film performers managed to survive the coming of sound. Adolphe Menjou, however, is a special case in that he not only remained a leading man in the early sound era, but smoothly made the transition to top supporting player in mid-decade, a position he would continue to hold for the quarter of a century. Menjou is Turner Classic Movies' Star of the Day today, Aug. 3, as part of TCM's "Summer Under the Stars" 2015 series. Right now, TCM is showing William A. Wellman's A Star Is Born, the "original" version of the story about a small-town girl (Janet Gaynor) who becomes a Hollywood star, while her husband (Fredric March) boozes his way into oblivion. In typical Hollywood originality (not that things are any different elsewhere), this 1937 version of the story – produced by...

The Cut-throats
(1969, dir: John Hayes)
“…A Blood Bath! Filled With Men and Women Obsessed With Death…”
We are thrown straight in to Nazi Germany (well, looks more like the American desert than the lush forests of Germany, but I won’t be That guy!) at the close of the war. After we witness one of those pesky Krauts taking an advantage of a rather attractive blonde haired citizen, played by an uncredited Sandy Carey (Deep Jaws), we are introduced to our heroes, an elite squad of American soldiers dubbed “The Cut-Throats”. They have been hand picked and are lead by the strict and rough Captain Franklin, played by E.J. Walsh (in his only role unfortunately). His mission for the group is to infiltrate a nearby Nazi occupied resort to steal plans as well as leaving no Nazi soldier left alive (who needs the Geneva Convention!?). However, he has much more seedier and greedier intentions.

The former 90210 star rang in her birthday over the weekend in Tulum, Mexico, where the blond beauty enjoyed a fun-filled vacation with boyfriend Dave Abrams, as well as her three daughters, Luca, 17, Lola, 12 and Fiona, 8. Staying at the Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa, the group was seen soaking up the sun on the beach, boogie-boarding and shopping in the city and appeared to be having a fantastic time. On Friday—Garth's actual birthday—the actress and her loved ones enjoyed a private dinner at the resort to celebrate the big day, and her beau adorably tweeted, "Happy Birthday @jenniegarth...

Everyone knows Woody Allen. At least, everyone thinks they know Woody Allen. His plumage is easily identifiable: horn-rimmed glasses, baggy suit, wispy hair, kvetching demeanor, ironic sense of humor, acute fear of death. As is his habitat: New York City, though recently he has flown as far afield as London, Barcelona, and Paris. His likes are well known: Bergman, Dostoevsky, New Orleans jazz. So too his dislikes: spiders, cars, nature, Wagner records, the entire city of Los Angeles. Whether or not these traits represent the true Allen, who’s to say? It is impossible to tell, with Allen, where cinema ends and life begins, an obfuscation he readily encourages. In the late nineteen-seventies, disillusioned with the comedic success he’d found making such films as Sleeper (1973), Love and Death (1975), and Annie Hall (1977), he turned for darker territory with Stardust Memories (1980), a film in which, none too surprisingly, he plays a...

The first film on this Chris Warfield (Up Yours, Teenage Seductress) double feature is Purely Physical which follows the story of Kathy, played by Laura Lazare (Suzie Superstar, Love Letters). Kathy is studying journalism at college and applies for the job as a hotel receptionist so she can write about the human condition.
