Hunter Schafer and Dominic Fike just celebrated a big relationship milestone: they made their red carpet debut as a couple. The "Euphoria" costars and real-life lovebirds attended Vanity Fair's Oscars party on March 27 and posed together before heading into the star-studded event in Beverly Hills. Fike had one hand positioned on Schafer's hip the entire time, and they exchanged a few loving looks and laughs as the cameras snapped away. Both stars dressed to impress for their big night out - Fike wore an all-black Saint Laurent suit featuring a sparkly jacket, while Schafer chose a long-sleeved denim Rick Owens gown. Fike's blue buzz cut also subtly matched his girlfriend's eyeshadow.
The Vanity Fair party basically turned into one big "Euphoria" reunion. After walking the red carpet, Schafer and Fike linked up with costars Zendaya, Maude Apatow, Barbie Ferreira, Sydney Sweeney, Angus Cloud, and Colman Domingo, who were also in attendance.

Honduran and Mexican American actress Francia Raisa is living her best life. It's not just that her career has reached new heights - although it has. She's starring in Hulu's "How I Met Your Father" opposite Hilary Duff and a diverse and supportive cast. Raisa's Valentina character is a relatable baddie, the type of girl who rocks oversize Selena T-shirts and three-piece, midriff-baring suits. She's the type of girl whose career seems amazing until she confesses to having an abusive boss she doesn't know how to escape.

Raisa told Popsugar she was immediately attracted to the role of Valentina. Reading the script, she thought: "This girl is hilarious. I love her. I have to play her. I already hear my voice." There was only one problem. The character was originally named Kate, and as Raisa puts it, "I am not a Kate.

The "Euphoria" season two finale was a roller coaster of emotions, intensity, drama, and cliffhangers. The eighth and final episode of the season touched on the season's messy relationships and the overall fate of the characters while still leaving some plot lines open. While the fallout of Lexi's play unfolds and Fezco and Ashtray deal with a sudden police raid, other characters, like Rue and Elliot, remain bystanders in the chaos.
Elliot (Dominic Fike) is mostly absent from "Euphoria" following his involvement in Rue's tumultuous intervention, but he makes an appearance in the finale in a tender scene alone with Rue. During the scene, Elliot sings Rue a song he wrote, which brings her to tears - but what does it mean?

Dominic Fike has released his inadvertently meme-able ballad, “Elliot’s Song,” from the Euphoria finale — and, yes, it is shorter than it was on the show.
The tune, penned by Zendaya and series composer Labrinth, featured prominently in the final episode of the show’s second season as Fike’s character, Elliot, broke out the ol’ acoustic guitar and serenaded Zendaya’s character, Rue, as the pair made amends. While the moment was intended to be poignant, it ended up causing a stir among Euphoria fans online, mostly due to...

Of all the twists and turns in the "Euphoria" season two finale, Elliot's drawn-out musical performance is one of the most puzzling. About a third of the way into the episode, Rue (Zendaya) visits Elliot (Dominic Fike) to make amends following her previous outburst, and he responds by singing her a song called "Little Star" . . . for a whopping three-and-a-half minutes straight. Sure, the lyrics are touching, and we're certainly not discounting Fike's vocal talent, but the mid-episode concert takes up far too much precious screen time. Every time we thought he was done, he opened his mouth to croon yet another verse.
There are countless other plot lines (and gaping plot holes) that merit more attention, and we've outlined them ahead in case creator Sam Levinson is seeking constructive feedback. It's safe to assume some of these topics will be addressed in season three of the HBO series,...

The finale of the second season of "Euphoria" was 59 minutes long. And amid friendships being mended, beloved characters facing peril, and other complex storylines wrapping up, over three whole minutes were dedicated to a song that was admittedly still being workshopped. That's nearly six percent of the episode. Sam Levinson will have to answer many questions, but above all else: why dedicate nearly six percent of your high-stakes finale to an acoustic performance by a peripheral character?
The performance takes place during the episode's first act. As she's making amends, Rue stops by Elliot's house to forgive him for exposing the depth of her drug use to her defeated mom, Leslie. That's when Elliot utters five words often uttered but seldom desired: "Can I play you something?" What ensues is "Little Star," a song about cosmic yet fated connection. "Feels like you fell right on my head,...

Christos Nikou’s new comedy Apples is about a city afflicted with mass amnesia. The director explains why technology is already leading us there
Pandemic movies are likely to be at the bottom of most viewers’ must-see lists right now, but the bizarre new comedy Apples offers a fresh take, peeling away the horror to reveal an absurdist core. Christos Nikou’s film, executive-produced by Cate Blanchett, is set in a modern Greek city rendered weirdly docile by mass amnesia. A busker picks his way falteringly through Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, foxed by a tune he can’t quite recall, while a man arrives at the last stop on a bus journey with no idea who he is or where he is going. Though there is no apparent cure, sufferers are prescribed everyday activities to help rebuild their lives, from swimming and dancing to one-night stands. Exclusive: Analeigh Tipton has signed with ICM Partners. The move comes after she recently toplined last year’s indie thriller Broken Star, opposite Tyler Labine.
The actor broke out playing a babysitter with a crush on Steve Carell in Crazy, Stupid, Love in 2011. She later starred in ABC’s romantic comedy Manhattan Love Story, which didn’t make it a full season after it debuted in 2014.
More recently, Tipton’s credits include James Franco’s John Steinbeck adaptation In Dubious Battle, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2016, and Alex Ross Perry’s Golden Exits, which bowed at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. In between, she starred opposite J.K. Simmons and Emile Hirsch in All Nighter.
Her other TV credits include HBO’s Hung, and films including Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck’s Mississippi Grind, Two Night Stand, Warm Bodies and Luc Besson’s Lucy.
She remains repped by Mosaic and McKuin Frankel Whitehead Llp.

The plan for Kandoo Releasing is to distribute an eclectic slate of indie films from emerging and diverse artists with day-and-date theatrical and VOD/digital releases.

“Broken Star” is a thriller interested in voyeurism, the camera’s affect on both subject and photographer, and the tangled relationship between art and artist, fiction and reality. What it’s not, however, is capable of processing those ideas in a manner that might be compelling, much less thrilling. The story of a starlet under house arrest who forms an unhealthy bond with her landlord, it’s a low-rent effort that’s equal parts tawdry and tedious, although more problematic for its theatrical and on-demand fortunes is the fact that, from start to finish, it makes little lucid sense.
Markey (Analeigh Tipton) is an actress of some apparent repute, and at the outset, she moves into a house where she’ll be living for a couple of months, due to a court sentence stemming from an ill-defined run-in with her momager Kara (Lauren Bowles) and younger sister Jade (Addyson Bell...

New slate includes Fake Blood, Skin In The Game
Roman Kopelevich’s La-based Red Sea Media arrives in Berlin this week with sales rights to the action thriller 22 Chaser.
Dan Bekerman and Don Carmody are producing the story of an honest tow truck driver who risks everything in a desperate quest to become king of the road and provide for his family.
“Growing up in the 80’s, I became a fan of high-concept action thrillers,” Kopelevich said. “This film reminds me of those – this is a no-holds-barred action thriller.
“A man placed under extreme circumstances who needs to provide for his family has to make choices: whether to be ethical or to put food on the table. Sadly, they are mutually exclusive, as many of life’s decisions are.”
Red Sea Media also introduces documentary Fake Blood, in which Rob Grant and Mike Kovac investigate violence in films and get to know real-life criminals. LevelFilm distributes in North...
