A few months ago, Gypsy-Rose Blanchard appeared on The View after she was paroled from prison.
While she did not make another appearance on The View, recent events in her life prompted Joy Behar to bring her up again.
Joy got into trouble with fans for saying that Gypsy-Rose had no choice but to kill her mother and needed to be reminded by Ana Navarro that “murder is wrong” when Gypsy-Rose was on the show.
Gypsy-Rose has separated from her husband of two years just months after being released from prison and has found a new boyfriend, and the ladies on The View all have opinions.
People reported that Gypsy-Rose is back with an ex-fiance, and the ladies had a field day talking about “prison love.”
In a clip that Joy introduced on the show, Gypsy-Rose is heard saying she is “hopeful for the life I am going to make.

The founders of FameBit (which Google acquired and later turned into YouTube BrandConnect) have launched a new app that pairs writers and animators together to create what it calls a “read-watch” experience in storytelling.
Storiaverse, which launched earlier this month, taps writers to submit their works, then matches accepted stories with artists who animate sections of those stories. The end result, with writing and animation combined, lets Storiaverse users swipe up on a story to watch animated clips as they’re reading.
Agnes Kozera, one of the aforementioned FameBit co-founders and now co-founder and chief content officer of Storiaverse, said in a statement that the platform was inspired by “the popularity of graphic novels and shows like Love, Death & Robots,” which “demonstrate the changing creative landscape and increasing demand for animation among digital natives in adulthood.”

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour makes its streaming debut on Disney+ Thursday, and, at first, it won’t quite measure up to the stadium experience.
In May 2023, my five closest friends and I attended Swift’s show at MetLife Stadium — and it wasn’t just a concert. For a group of single twenty-something women, it was, in many ways, our wedding, our bachelorette party and maybe even our own funeral! What I mean is, it was a ritualistic occasion — a holy sacrament.

SXSW 2024 kicked off its first full day of music on March 12 with a smattering of must-see shows around town, plus some tension in the air thanks to the festival’s relationship with the U.S. Army. (When Texas Gov. Greg Abbott chimed in on social media, it was the kind of noise that no one needs.) While a number of acts cancelled their official showcases, many of them continued to play unofficial shows for the audiences that SXSW brought to town, and several spoke out in support of the Palestinian people and against war.

Shailene Woodley was famously arrested for advocacy towards environmentalism in 2018. Her very brief experience in handcuffs posed little threat to her career. However, the inconvenience did postpone Woodley getting a major film role.

Woodley has always been very passionate about protecting the Earth. Her status as an actor has definitely helped her crusade for a much greener planet. Still, she confided that even if she wasn’t a celebrity, it wouldn’t affect her activism one bit.
“It’s not that I want to use my platform to do it — I’d be doing it even if there was one person following me or if I didn’t have a platform,” she once told Green Matters.
She asserted that she had more than one reason behind her mission.

Shailene Woodley once led her own blockbuster franchise in the Divergent series. But despite the movies belonging to the sci-fi action genre, Woodley was hesitant to label her character an action hero.

Woodley joined the ranks of many female action stars when she was cast in the Divergent series. It was an opportunity that she was well aware of when she climbed on board the young adult series. But she also believed Divergent could help make female action heroes more relevant in the film industry again.
“I feel like we’ve skipped a generation,” Woodley once told Bust. “We had, like, the Ashley Judds, the Sigourney Weavers, the Demi Moores, and then it sort of faded and went into [a period of] making women appear dumb, like they had no worth in the intelligence arena.

Halloween isn't just for children. That's why whenever scary season rolls around, you need a music playlist that keeps everyone in mind - from the kids who love the latest ghoulish Disney Channel Original Movie musical to those who got down to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" when it first came out in the '80s.
That's also why you have to get creative when it comes to the spooky songs you choose for your Allhallows' Eve playlists. If you only include songs that are explicitly Halloween-themed, like "Monster Mash" by Bobby "Boris" Pickett and the Crypt-Kickers or "This Is Halloween" from "The Nightmare Before Christmas," the tunes could get stale real quick. So remember to work in music that has Halloween vibes, too.
Jimin's "Filter" may not strike you as a Halloween song at first but with lyrics like, "I can be your genie / How about Aladdin? / I'll be...

Ctam and Common Sense Media have partnered on StreamSafely Summer Camp,, an online destination at StreamSafely.com where parents and kids can find safe, family-friendly programming without the risks that come with pirated content. The site includes a collection of 46 movies curated by the nonprofit Common Sense Media available through June, July and August, along with a checklist for parents on safe streaming.
A Ctam study from October 2022 found that 38% of households with kids report accessing pirated content a few times a year, well above the mean for the US adult population overall (26%). Piracy sites appear free, but they make money by stealing personal information, often by installing destructive malware or ransomware on users’ home computers. Digital video piracy accounts for more than $50 billion in revenue losses for the global tv and movie industry, according to the study.

From Disney darling to pop star, Dove Cameron's career has undergone quite the evolution since she began acting in her early teens. The versatile actor's earliest fans grew up alongside her as she played identical twins "Liv and Maddie" for four seasons on the hit Disney Channel show. But Cameron's professional acting career began even earlier, when she memorably guest-starred in two episodes of "Shameless" as Holly Herkimer, a young woman who was interested in Lip Gallagher (Jeremy Allen White).
Cameron's early work in "Shameless" and "Liv and Maddie" showed off the actor's range. Right from the start of her career, it was clear she could pull off comedic and dramatic roles, just as she could pivot between family-friendly fare and more daring projects. In recent years, she's continued to challenge herself as an actor with roles in B.J. Novak's directorial debut, "Vengeance" and Hulu's comedic...
