So far in the history of “killer bear” cinema, only Grizzly Park opens with an excerpt from The Bible. As “The Children Destroyed by Bears” goes (without getting too deep into other interpretations), a pair of bears mauled many kiddos after they insulted God’s prophet. The absurdity of such a tale would naturally lead to a movie just as, if not more inane. However, who or what exactly is pulling the strings in Tom Skull’s one and only directed feature is not so clear, at first. Is this fuzzy destroyer acting of its own free will, being manipulated by a human, or is there really an omnipotent force meting out bizarre retribution for naughty youths? In a movie as oddball as Grizzly Park, not a single one of those notions would be considered unsuitable.

"We're all going to get eaten alive!" Yes, yes they probably will. Saban Films has revealed the trailer for an action horror movie called The Flood, another of these junky direct-to-video B-movie horror flicks that seem to be popping up all the time now. It's from the same bad filmmaker who also made Battle For Saipan, also with Casper Van Dien, who is back again for this one. A horde of giant hungry alligators is unleashed on a group of in-transit prisoners and their guards after a massive hurricane floods Louisiana. Yes, this is the alligators-in-a-prison movie, if anyone wants to watch. Starring Casper Van Dien, Nicky Whelan, Louis Mandylor, Devanny Pinn, Ryan Francis, Randy Wayne, and Kim DeLonghi. This does not seem worth anyone's time or money - steer clear of this one, folks. There are plenty of other better giant alligator / croc movies to watch instead: Sewer Gators,...

A Thousand Little Cuts opens with a longish take of Anne jogging as a pop song plays in the background. Then, without warning, it switches to a brief clip of what seems to a sexual assault. And then we’re at the hospital where Anne is being asked if she’ll be all right.
As if that isn’t confusing enough instead of an answer we cut to Anne her job where her boss blows off for a meeting with her. She picks up her friend Kiara for a wine and bitch session only to walk in on her boyfriend Greg with another woman. Only then do we realize she’s talking to a psychiatrist Dr. Atlas.
If all of that sounds rather confusing, that’s because it is.

Cops and Robbers stars Michael Jai White as a hostage negotiator who plays a high stakes game of cat and mouse with a cornered bank robber. As the two men learn each other’s identity, they realise they have a shared past, as estranged brothers do, with scores and grudges to be settled…
Can Micheal Jai White ever get a break? The man had obvious skills, both in acting and martial arts, which we’ve seen in a myriad of his previous films. However lately he seems to have become stuck in a rut of appearing own small cameo roles in films or playing cop roles that don’t show off his skillset. Even when he does get to kick some ass his performance seems stifled.

Tunnicliffe. What follows is wildly sadistic and grotesque, all appearing before the title sequence too – a very fair warning for what you’re in for! The plot...

Pinhead is still lurking, but the iconic series’ once-interesting eroticism has degenerated into nasty titillation in this sorry sequel
There have been so many additions to the Hellraiser franchise since the first one debuted in 1987 that we’ve now got to the stage when it’s best not to remind viewers how many there have been, lest the young uns think it’s some kind of musty Gen X thing that just won’t die. Which it kind of is, to be honest. This latest contribution, written and directed by makeup effects specialist Gary J Tunnicliffe, feels like a pretty degraded mutation from the original concept. Where the first few Hellraisers had an interesting if somewhat icky erotic tang to them – alluding to S&m/fetish culture as much as horror, and featuring female protagonists – Judgment is less about desire than just straight-up misogyny and gory, gross-out money shots.

"Is there anybody that'll ride with 'em?" "I will." Lionsgate has released an official trailer for an indie "epic, action-packed Western" titled Hell on the Border. Based on the true life story of Bass Reeves, a legendary tough African American cowboy in the Wild West. David Gyasi stars as Bass Reeves, the first black deputy U.S. Marshal west of the Mississippi River. He worked mostly in Arkansas and the Oklahoma Territory. During his long career, he was credited with arresting more than 3,000 felons. He shot and killed 14 outlaws in self-defense. Sounds like quite a badass, alas this trailer isn't that badass after all. Hell on the Border also stars Frank Grillo, Zahn McClarnon, Randy Wayne, Manu Intiraymi, Rudy Youngblood, Ashley Atwood, and Ron Perlman. Looks like this might be entertaining, with some solid action scenes to boot. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Wes Miller's Hell on the Border,...

For those Hellraiser fans who’ve yet to abandon Pinhead’s sin-o-rama condemnation – how could you miss Hellraiser: Deader (real title) – 2018 brings yet another straight-to-video (ceno)bite of sadomasochism. Enter Hellraiser: Judgment, Gary J. Tunnicliffe’s religious allegory about divinity, evil and *putrid* torture exploitation. The chains that bind are greased and tightened once more, but a task force retread ends up overshadowing most of Pinhead’s minimal exposure. It’s serial killer procedural flavors slapped between familiar franchise beats, none of which make for a double-decker delight.
Frankly, I liked Hellraiser: Judgment better when it was The Devil’s Carnival.
Detective brothers Sean (Damon Carney) and David Carter (Randy Wayne) are hot on the trail of their serial killer adversary, The Preceptor – this mass murderer who selects victims based on broken Commandments. One night Sean’s investigating a child predator’s apartment when he finds an address. Without backup,...

The steady, blood-red stream of Hellraiser: Judgment content continues today with Bloody Disgusting unveiling some creepy new stills from the forthcoming horror flick.
On paper, it’s the straight-to-video revival from Gary J. Tunnicliffe, who has been developing Judgment since as far back as 2015. Inspired by the works of Clive Barker, Tunnicliffe’s über-violent gorefest aims to resurrect the Cenobite Pinhead (Paul T. Taylor) in style, and maybe – just maybe – spawn a sequel of its own.
Before we get swept up by forward-thinking and speculation, though, Bloody Disgusting’s gallery is a puzzle box of sadomasochistic experiments, which, if nothing else, acts as living proof that Hellraiser: Judgment is four weeks away from making Event Horizon seem like a bright and breezy Disney movie.

I have to say, it hurts my heart a tiny little bit to see Pinhead brought down to this level.
Admittedly, there hasn't been a good Hellraiser movie since the early 90s (arguably since the original but I give at least the first 2 sequels a shrugging pass) but that's not for lack of trying.
Hellraiser: Judgment, the tenth (!) movie in the franchise, now has Pinhead, played by Paul T. Here's the trailer for the latest Hellraiser movie, Hellraiser: Judgment...
“I am a jealous god,” we see written in blood in the first Hellraiser: Judgment trailer, though the writer might be envious of the simple charm of the original classic horror film. Hellraiser (1987) was Clive Barker's directorial debut. It was based on his novella The Hellbound Heart. and introduced moviegoers to the Cenobites. The tenth film in the Hellraiser franchise turns Pinhead into serial killer. But it probably won’t be enough to kill the series. Hellraiser: Judgment will be meted out on Blu-ray, DVD, and VOD on February 13 in the Us from Lionsgate. We don't have a UK release for it yet.

Hell is coming to home video on February 13th, and to champion the long-awaited arrival of Hellraiser: Judgment, Bloody Disgusting has premiered a gallery of truly gruesome images from the Gary J. Tunnicliffe feature.
Nipping at the undead heels of this morning’s trailer, the images below are not for the faint of heart. Indeed, anyone with prior knowledge of the cult Hellraiser series will know that ol’ Pinhead tends to leave a bloodbath in his wake, and that’s exactly what Judgment, the tenth instalment in this most bizarre of franchises, hopes to achieve.
And so, if you’re still pining for more horror-themed content following Lionsgate’s trailer debut, we’ve got you covered, as the gallery below is teeming with nightmarish treats. Highlights include blood, satanic rituals, more blood, close-ups of Pinhead, yet more blood and some…thing that closely resembles Nemesis from Capcom’s Resident Evil franchise.

"Evil seeks evil." Lionsgate has launched an official trailer for the latest Hellraiser film titled Hellraiser: Judgment, which is actually the 10th film in the Hellraiser series (believe it or not?). I didn't even realize there with this many. The original horror cult classic Hellraiser was released in 1987, from writer/director Clive Barker. Hellraiser: Judgment is directed by Gary J. It has been confirmed by Bloody Disgusting that Heather Langenkamp (A Nightmare on Elm Street, 1984) has been attached. As well, Dimension Films is producing this latest Hellraiser title. A few early details, on the film's impending release, are hosted here. In the story, several detectives are searching for a serial killer. The killer is terrorizing a city, while Det. David Carter (Randy Wayne) and Det. Christine Egerton (Alexandra Harris) track him down. As the case unfolds, it becomes apparent that there is a supernatural element at play. When any actor has embodied an iconic character for an extended period of time, it’s only understandable that fans sometimes have difficulty adjusting to their successors. Even in the case of a vastly talented performer like Jackie Earle Haley, there were many who just couldn’t accept someone playing Freddy Krueger other than Robert Englund. Likewise, we ask for no tears, please, regarding the third actor to play Pinhead – it’s a waste of good suffering.
As you may or may not know, Paul T. Taylor has been hired to portray the most recognizable of all Cenobites in the upcoming Hellraiser: Judgment, which happens to be the tenth installment in the franchise that originated in the mind of the one and only Clive Barker. This time, though, it’s a returning Gary J. Tunnicliffe, director of 2011’s Revelations, who’ll be taking us from the pinnacle to the pit.

Later this year, Hellraiser: Judgment will have the honor of becoming the 10th instalment in Dimension’s cult horror series, but allegations of animal cruelty have threatened to cast a shadow over the Gary J. Tunnicliffe-directed flick.
Ahead of its long-anticipated release, Tunnicliffe recently appeared on the latest episode of The Movie Crypt podcast to drum up Judgment‘s arrival, not to mention all of the brutal terrors that lie in wait – hell, one actress almost passed out because a scene was so intense.
That sequence in question reportedly involves a small dog, and while Tunnicliffe explicitly stated that the animal “doesn’t get hurt” whatsoever, a vocal minority misconstrued the director’s comments, before claiming that Hellraiser: Judgment contains scenes of animal torture. That couldn’t be further from the truth, though, according to Gary J. Tunnicliffe, who tackled those allegations in a new interview with Dread Central.

When Gary J. Tunnicliffe waxes lyrical on the Hellraiser series, it’s worth standing up and taking notice.
Now on the verge of its tenth instalment, Hellraiser: Judgment, Tunnicliffe recently appeared on the latest episode of The Movie Crypt podcast (h/t Bloody Disgusting), in which the series veteran and frequent make-up artist teased some of the brutal horrors in store.
Directing from his own script, Hellraiser: Judgment is very much a passion project for Tunnicliffe, who told hosts Adam Green and Joe Lynch that he’s never had as much fun – nor has he worked so hard – during the production of Judgment. And yes, the end product will be fluent in scares and gruesome deaths.
I had the most fun on that I’ve ever had, and I’ve never worked so hard on a Hellraiser film, but we had a great time. We did two sequences where… one the actress almost passed out…...

The eternal tormentor returns in Dimension Films’ Hellraiser: Judgment, the tenth film in the franchise created by Clive Barker. With production currently underway on the project, the actor playing Pinhead has been revealed, along with the rest of the main cast, which includes an actress from another enduring horror franchise, A Nightmare on Elm Street.
