I really like this show and I think I've watched about half the seasons. Tyra, Nigel, Jay, J. Alexander -- all excellent, professional, best at what they do.
At some point though, this show starting getting too ghetto. Talk about affirmative action gone wrong. Why are almost half the girls on the show now black when they make up 15% of the population (and even less in the modeling world, which by the way I think is unfortunate).
Even if Tyra did decide to pick more than the fair share, is this the best she could do? The black girls typically get into a click and start taking over the conversation in the house which turns into trash talk, fighting, etc. Not all and not all the time but that's been the pattern.
Too bad, I really used to like this show.
