Breaking Bad’s Jesse Pinkman’s inspired some wild fan theories, but one in particular went so far off the rails that even Aaron Paul had to pause for a second. You know things are crazy when the actor who played the character’s left scratching his head. This insane theory makes you wonder what show some fans were watching.
Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) and Walter White (Bryan Cranston) in Breaking Bad | Sony Pictures Television
Apparently, Pinkman was more than just a meth-cooking, tortured soul—he was wrapped up in something even crazier than we ever imagined. Aaron Paul’s confusion is understandable because this theory defies logic, storytelling, and, well, everything Breaking Bad stood for. But hey, when it comes to fan theories, nothing’s too wild, especially when Jesse’s involved.

For years now, rumors have swirled that two "Game of Thrones" stars — Lena Headey, who played Cersei Lannister, and Jerome Flynn, who played Bronn — wouldn't appear together on-screen after a terrible breakup in real life. So is it true?
It's not, according to Flynn himself. During a 2019 appearance at Con of Thrones in Nashville, Flynn addressed the rumors and said that, contrary to what he'd heard, the two were on fine terms. "We were actually in the same scene together, and the last time I saw Lena we were speaking, so I wouldn't believe everything you read, and like I said, [the media] can get pretty desperate for stories," Flynn said before praising Headey: "Lena is a wonderful person and a wonderful actress. I think the world of her."
So why did these rumors surface in the first place? During the season 7 finale of "Game of Thrones," titled "The Dragon and the Wolf,...

In 2014, Billy Flynn made his intense debut as Chad on Days of Our Lives by punching Ej in the face. Ten years later, Chad calmed down slightly, but he still has the same fiery spirit. The show shared videos of several cast members on Instagram congratulating Flynn on his decade-long run as the volatile, yet (mostly) good Dimera.

Many of the Days players took the time to record wonderful, sometimes funny, congratulations to Flynn for his 10 years playing Chad. The actors were kind and thoughtful, and it shows on-screen because he has chemistry with them all. Billy Flynn made his Days of our Lives debut on September 12, 2014, as Chad Dimera, and admits he never thought he’d be around 10 years later. “It honestly feels like longer, but at the same time went by like in the blink of an eye,” he muses. Here, Flynn opens up about how landing the job changed the trajectory of his life and looks back on the highlights of the last decade. What do you remember about getting the job? Billy Flynn: I lived on a sailboat and I had no money; I could barely eat. I got this audition and was like, ‘I don’t really want to be on a soap; I want to do movies or whatever.’ But my manager, God bless him, said, ‘Mate, you’re living on a sailboat. You can’t afford to eat dinner.’ The screen test is still a vivid memory because I...

Courtney B. Vance is a Tony- and Emmy-winning actor and the president of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation. To Vance, legendary actor James Earl Jones was known as “Jimmy.” The two first met in the 1980s while starring in August Wilson’s drama “Fences,” which went on to win the Pulitzer Prize and four Tony Awards, including Jones’ prize for best leading actor in a play. Here, Vance reflects on the “Fences” family, their enduring friendship and his final visit with his onstage father.
James lived in upstate New York, and I was there about six months ago. The whole family was there, and we were all just laughing, talking about old times. General Michael Flynn’s career path brought him from leading troops in war zones to advising presidents, yet it also landed him at the center of political firestorms. As director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, Flynn ruffled feathers with his candor about ongoing security operations. His brief tenure as National Security Advisor under Donald Trump ended abruptly amid swirling controversies.
This documentary, directed by Flynn himself, seeks to share his side of these stories. Through interviews with friends and family, it charts Flynn’s journey from growing up near the sea in Rhode Island to his military service spanning decades around the world. Viewers see his realization that challenges faced abroad pale in comparison to obstacles back home. We also learn of Flynn’s belief that unjust forces worked to undermine his character and derail his efforts to promote transparency in government.

James Earl Jones has sadly passed away at his home in Dutchess County, New York. He was 93.
The actor was an icon thanks to his performances across film and television, though he just so happened to also have an iconic voice. While Jones suffered from a stutter as a child, he overcame that through his work in theatre and ultimately brought Darth Vader to life in the Star Wars franchise with a performance which remains unrivalled.
Of course, he could also be heard in The Lion King as Mufasa (both animated and live-action), another beloved character it’s hard to imagine anyone else playing. Conan the Barbarian was one of his most famous on-camera roles.
Jones received numerous accolades, including two Tony Awards, a Golden Globe, and an Emmy. He was also awarded the National Medal of Arts in 1992 and the Kennedy Center Honor in 2005.

Despite being released ten years ago, David Fincher’s Gone Girl starring Rosamund Pike and Ben Affleck is still considered one of the finest thrillers ever made with all its shocking plot twists and jaw-dropping details of the reality behind the seemingly happy family’s facade.
Though the film had a very specific source it took its plot from, the former was inspired by a lot of books and events — including real-life horrifying murders.

Johnny Flynn was murdered within a week of stepping onto the set of Ripley.
The British actor plays Dickie Greenleaf in the eight-episode Netflix adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s 1955 novel The Talented Mr. Ripley and while he knew the character would meet an untimely demise in the story, he wasn’t prepared for it to be within days of meeting Andrew Scott, who plays the title character.
“I was just getting to know Andrew and there he is bludgeoning me and cradling my dead body,” Flynn tells Rolling Stone. “It was a good icebreaker.

Johnny Flynn said it was “brilliant” to be killed on “Ripley” — though his character Dickie Greenleaf may disagree.
The English actor joined his costars in Italy for preproduction and rehearsals on Steve Zaillian’s Netflix series, but then Flynn flew back home when the cameras started rolling. Costar Andrew Scott and others started out with scenes from later in the series, after Dickie’s death in Episode 3, and when Flynn returned it was to start things off with that fateful boat sequence.

Andrew Scott continues to add to his wide-ranging acting résumé with Ripley, taking on famed con man Tom Ripley as he is hired to live a life of deceit, fraud and murder.
After playing a Bond villain in 2015’s Spectre, Scott shared that playing such an evil role was “not a territory that I feel like I would want to go over again. Now I know who I am a little bit more, I feel like the work that I’m just interested in doing is more in the gray areas.” But, he told The Hollywood Reporter at the show’s Los Angeles premiere on Wednesday, he does not see Tom Ripley as a villainous character.
“I see him absolutely as an antihero, but he’s the protagonist. He’s not the antagonist, so we’re seeing it through his eyes, that’s the whole part of it,” Scott explained.

Remaking established properties under a new vision is common in Hollywood. However, seeing a beloved modern classic get that treatment so quickly has become a problem for many stories. Despite The Talented Mr. Ripley only reaching its 25th anniversary this year, Steve Zaillian adapts Patricia Highsmith’s novel once again. Netflix’s new series, simply titled Ripley, follows the plot of the novel in more detail. Gone are the sun-soaked villas of Italy in favor of sterilized black-and-white photography. The slow and methodical series dips into the exacting and careful actions of a psychopath. Andrew Scott’s Tom is not fun. Instead, he’s a calculating murderer and destroyer. The result is a very different, but rewarding take on the iconic character.

Tom Ripley is one of literature’s great con men, and Andrew Scott is a perfect choice to play him. The Fleabag and Sherlock actor is charming and has a sophisticated air… and yet there’s something a little off about him. (Even when he played a priest in Fleabag, he had a mischievous glint in his eye.) He slips effortlessly into the title role in Netflix’s Ripley — all eight episodes are now streaming; I’ve seen the first four — and the lush black-and-white cinematography is a joy to behold. The series is badly hampered by an overly deliberate pace,...

Firehouse 51 has lost another one of its own. New Chicago Fire cast member Rome Flynn has exited the NBC drama after six episodes.
Rome Flynn exits ‘Chicago Fire’ (L-r) Rome Flynn as Derrick Gibson, Christian Stolte as Randy McHolland in ‘Chicago Fire’ Season 12 | Adrian S Burrows Sr/NBC
Flynn joined Chicago Fire at the beginning of season 12 as new recruit Derrick Gibson, an ex-boxer with a troubled past. He took a spot on Truck 81 previously occupied by Blake Gallo (Alberto Rosende), who left the show in the season premiere to move to Detroit.
Unfortunately, Gibson’s time at 51 was brief. As he eventually revealed to Carver (Jake Lockett), he’d embarked on a career as a firefighter after accidentally killing a man during a boxing match. But the trauma from that incident still haunted him. He was also abusing drugs in an attempt to cope with his mental health issues.

Orlando Bloom arrived at the Serpentine Gallery Summer Party on Tuesday night and showed off his muscular arms.
The 46-year-old actor wore a sleeveless gray vest with matching trousers and accessorized his look with sunglasses and silver bracelets.
As he enjoyed the summer festivity, he posed playfully with British fashion designer, Paul Smith.
Recently, Bloom and his fiance, Katy Perry, ended their three-month pact to refrain from alcohol. Their pact began in late February.
“We did this because he’s shooting a movie in London right now that’s taking every ounce of his focus, and so I wanted that opportunity to be supportive,” Perry told People. “It’s really hard to do anything, whether that’s doing a cleanse or a reset, unless your partner’s doing it. So, doing it together makes it so much easier.”

Deadline has confirmed that Evan Peters has joined Disney’s third installment of Tron, entitled, Tron Ares.
As we first told you, Jared Leto is starring in this sequel with Joachim Rønning directing. If there’s no SAG strike, the pic will hopefully shoot in Vancouver in August.
Leto will play Ares, the manifestation of the Tron program. No word on who Peters will play, but there’s two key parts that of a soldier in the virtual world and a gamer in the human sphere.
Emma Ludbrook, Jeffrey Springer and Leto are producing. Russell Allen is EP.
The first Tron was released by Disney in 1982 and starred Jeff Bridges as video game creator Kevin Flynn who wound up being warped inside his video game, forced to participate in gladiatorial games where his only chance of escape is with the help of a heroic security program. When season two of Gloria Calderón Kellett's "With Love" series dropped on Amazon Prime earlier this month, with it came many juicy romance storylines. While the show does a beautiful job of portraying the joy within Latine love stories, there's still drama. This season explores the complexities that can come when two people love each other but don't necessarily want the same things.
Take the complicated love triangle between Lily Diaz (played by Emeraude Toubia), Nick Zhao (Desmond Chiam), and Santiago Zayas (Rome Flynn). We witness Lily being pursued by two love interests, unsure of who she ultimately wants to be with.
Related: How Emeraude Toubia Used Her Real-Life Divorce in Her "With Love" Season 2 Role
Lily and Santiago couldn't be more opposite, especially when it comes to their views on relationships. But for the longest time, they thought their love for each other was enough to overcome their incompatibilities.

Arizona Republicans are hosting a two-day, QAnon-inflected, anti-vaccine circus at the statehouse — focused on supposed “atrocities” committed by public health officials in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The hearings, which began this morning, are organized by a new state Senate body, the Novel Coronavirus South Western Intergovernmental Committee. The committee’s chosen acronym — Ncswic, which has been plastered on posters promoting the hearings — offers unusual cross-branding. It shares the abbreviation of an infamous QAnon catchphrase, “Nothing Can Stop What Is Coming.”

It’s pre-war Los Angeles and you’re a young and rather dashing British actor. You’re newly arrived in Hollywood and looking to make friends, and preferably ones who understand the importance of a properly made cup of tea. Look no further, then, than the Hollywood Cricket Club.
There you’ll find fellow famous Brits abroad such as David Niven, Boris Karloff and, thanks to the suspect nature of colonialism, an honorary Brit in the shape of Tasmanian-born Errol Flynn. Across the 1930s and 1940s, these stars (and more) could be counted on to drop by the club’s nets in their flawless whites. Cinema luminaries such as Cary Grant, Basil Rathbone, Ronald Colman and Leslie Howard would all also play for the team, while a young Elizabeth Taylor might be around to serve cream tea.
Like any sports team, each player brought their own distinct style to the game.

Andrew Dominik's "Blonde" has finally made its worldwide debut, bringing with it the expected controversy. A success at the Venice International Film Festival, the film became one of the most critically polarizing arthouse dramas in years, inspiring both fervent defenders and mortified detractors to talk about it, write about it, and tweet scorching hot takes about it.
The reason for all the hubbub is plain: The film, adapted from Joyce Carol Oates' much-celebrated novel, takes a fictional approach to the life and times of one of the greatest Hollywood icons of all time, Marilyn Monroe — a stage name that "Blonde" pointedly positions as such, instead referring to the woman and listing her in the credits as "Norma Jeane." As if the artistically liberalized, proudly fantastical way Oates imagined Norma Jeane's life wasn't enough to stir the pot, "Blonde" makes a series of abrasive, potentially off-putting decisions in the way...

Warning: This interview contains mild spoilers for "Hellraiser."
When Jamie Clayton was announced as taking on the coveted role as Pinhead/The Hell Priest/Lead Cenobite in "Hellraiser," there was a ridiculous display of stupidity as transphobic fans lamented the franchise had "gone woke." The hilarious irony, of course, is that "Hellraiser" creator Clive Barker is one of the most openly gay horror creators in history, and has been extremely vocal about how the underground gay Bdsm scene was a huge influence on the aesthetic of the Cenobites.
Lgbtqia+ creators are foundational to the birth and success of horror as a film genre, so for anyone to decry "Hellraiser" as having somehow turned political is not only ahistorical, it's so beyond ignorant that it's worthy of mockery. While the latter installments of the "Hellraiser" franchise aren't nearly as embedded in gay subculture as the first few, there's no denying that...
