Despite their Elvis-officiated ceremony, Shia Labeouf and Mia Goth were not legally married in Las Vegas, according to local officials.
The Clark County of Nevada confirmed as much in a tweet on Wednesday, writing, “Our records show no marriage license for Shia Labeouf & Mia Goth. A commitment ceremony was performed #Vegas.” A photo from the ceremony was included in the tweet.
Asked why the clerk’s office had confirmed the news, the office tweeted, “We were getting media inquiries & it’s a matter of public record.”

Netflix dropped their first image of their new take on the Legendary Defender, Voltron. Those of you who grew up in the glorious decade known as the 80’s know very well how much cartoons and toys went hand in hand in those days. Cereal boxes, candies that had nothing to do with it’s namesake, lunch boxes, the works! We we’re the first major market that screamed at our parents “I Want That Or I’LL Die.”
Get ready to die again for Voltron:
It seems like Dreamworks and Netflix played it a little safe with the update, but one thing that’s for sure, it totally looks like Voltron. And we all can breath a little easier now that we know our childhoods have one less intellectual property that won’t be raped by the new millennium.
Are you digging Voltron’s new look? Did that keep the look a little too classic?...

As a cinephile, few things are more sublime than finding back-to-back features that hit some specific thematic sweet spot. Drive-in theaters may not be the popular viewing spot they once were, but with the overwhelming accessibility we now have, one can program their own personal double bill. Today we’ve run through the gamut of 2015 films to select the ten finest pairings.
As a note, there are a few recommended double features from the same director (Spike Lee‘s Da Sweet Blood of Jesus and Chi-Raq, Noah Baumbach‘s Mistress America and While We We’re Young, and Xavier Dolan‘s Mommy and Tom at the Farm), but we’ve elected to stick to a more thematic playing field. Check out list the below, and we’d love to hear your own picks, which can be left in the comments.

In the interest of time, I skipped out on the "Amazing Race" exit interview circuit, a decision I often regretted. I'd have loved to ask Lisa & Michelle about shoving and hypocrisy, or talk to Shelley & Nici about how their existing relationship hurt them out there or to discuss whether Kym & Alli felt annoyed at a surfing task being their demise. I was more than happy, though, to rejoin the circuit to talk to the "Amazing Race" finale, especially when the victors turned out to be Food Scientists Amy & Maya, a pair I grew to really root for during the Race. No, Maya & Amy weren't the strongest team. In fact, they made it to the end without winning any of the first 11 Legs and only a "Keep on Racing..." Leg in Manila kept them around. But even if they seemed physically unlikely -- especially with a prior injury forcing Amy to...

Your summer vacation time may be ending with school, work and responsibilities on the horizon, but there is still one more way you can get away — with the latest trailer for the Brit-com “We We Did On Our Holiday.” The movie looks like a rosier, and more English version of “Little Miss Sunshine,” but shame on me for pigeonholing it too soon. Starring former "Doctor Who" David Tennant, upcoming "Gone Girl" star Rosamund Pike and Billy Connolly, the story follows a couple and their three kids who head for the Scottish Highlands for a grandfather's birthday, all while trying to keep a secret from the rest of the family. But as they'll soon learn, its the children who could let the cat out of the bag. The film opens on September 26th in the UK, with no word on U.S. distribution at this point. [Digital Spy]...

Jonathan Groff is an amazingly nice guy. No, really. It's not just an act. There are many actors who would blow off an interview after a scheduling mishap, but not Groff. Either he was raised by saints or he really believes in his new HBO series "Looking." Or, maybe it's a combination of both. It's been something of a breakout year for the still 28-year-old actor best known to many for his time on "Glee." Not only has he earned critical kudos for playing the somewhat naive Patrick on "Looking," but he was the voice of Kristoff in Disney's Oscar-winning blockbuster "Frozen." Groff patiently took sometime on Friday to revisit the entire season of "Looking" and talk about who he hopes Patrick ends up with in season two (granted, that was something of a tease). The conversation was so in-depth we didn't even get to chat about his role in another upcoming HBO production,...

It’s been a long wait for the Star Trek sequel, especially as time appears to drag as we approach the May 17th release date. To help us out, Paramount and Bandai Namco are filling some of that gap with Star Trek The Video Game.
Digital Extremes, the team behind Bioshock 2 and Darkness 2, have developed an action packed, third person shooter that lets you play as Kirk and Spock in the rebooted timeline. But don’t confuse this with your standard movie tie-in schlock. In development for three years, this is being sold as a Aaa title that aims to break the curse of rubbish games based on movie licences.

After watching Nicole's festive video, you'll be repeating her lyrics right back at her: 'Thank you, thank you, thank you!' Patrice Wilson, the brilliant writer/producer behind Rebecca Black's viral hit "Friday," is at it again — and this time, he's appealing to the fat stoner inside us all. "It's Thanksgiving," the new jam performed by Nicole Westbrook, pays tribute to the most delicious holiday of all. And the interwebs are already eating it up! Several of Patrice's trademark moves can be found in both the video and the song itself. Not only does Nicole share Rebecca's obsession with crossing off dates on a calendar, but she also employs Becky's excessive use of the word "we." (Example: "It's Thanksgiving / We we we are gonna have a good time.") And just like in Rebecca's "Friday," Patrice makes a cameo in the "It's Thanksgiving" video to spit a few rhymes.

When news of the arrests of the feminist punk collective riot Pussy Riot hit the mainstream, singer, filmmaker and activist Peaches was less than impressed with the response from some of the bigger acts in music.
"I felt like there were a lot of celebrities who were actually touring in Russia, so it was kind of like 'Oh God! I'm touring in Russia. I better write something,'" Peaches tells The Huffington Post Canada, clearly referencing Madonna.
At the same time, Peaches was inspired by the actions of underground artists and activists who were actually doing something to help the three women, Nadezdha Tolokonnikova, Maria Alyokhina and Yekaterina Samutsevich, who were on trial for hooliganism after performing a "punk prayer" against President Vladimir Putin in Moscow's Cathedral of Christ the Saviour.

Contrary to earlier reports, Lana Del Rey isn’t planning on releasing a new album anytime soon, but the pop siren is still treating her growing fan base to some new music. While chatting with Australian radio station NovaFM, Rey revealed that she’s dropping a repackage of her major-label debut, Born To Die, in November with seven brand-new songs.
"It's not a new album; it's more like an afterthought," she explained to host Tim Blackwell. "It’s the ‘Paradise Edition’ of Born To Die. It’s, like, seven new songs that kind of put a period on the statement I was finishing when I was making the record."
Describing the re-release as nothing short of “beautiful,” the H&M spokeswoman said her writing grind continues even on the road. "I’ve been writing slowly for the last seven months since I finished the record," she continued.

I had the opportunity to catch up with Robert Pereyda of Namco Bandai Games Inc, himself a contributing writer, and the other writers and artists that make up the Shiftylook operation for the games giant, including Jim Zub the writer of the very clever Skull Kickers published by Image comics. I asked Jim, the writers behind the strip for Skykid, Why Namco Bandai have created Shiftylook. "We're creating a series of web comics that are freely available online for fans of a range of game titles. We we're given free-reign to develop comics based on the old portfolio of Namco Bandai games".
If you're wondering who Namco Bandai are, you must have been either locked in a nuclear bunker, or you haven't experienced the sweaty coin-shovelling thrill of arcade games.

Miley Cyrus should know better.
We're not even talking about smoking weed, which she admitted to doing – in a video that is now all over the Internet – a little too much at her 19th birthday party this weekend, we're talking about getting caught saying or doing things that she has to know are going to cause the odd bit of public outrage on camera.
"You know you're a stoner when friends make you a Bob Marley cake—you know you smoke way too much f***in' weed," Cyrus said as pal Kelly Osbourne presented her with a birthday cake.
Cyrus has a long and ridiculous history of letting people film her doing silly things. Whether she's grinding on director Adam Shankman, hitting a bong packed with salvia or posing for pictures while slanting her eyes, Cyrus, who's been doing her thing in the entertainment industry since she was eight years old,...

The fame monster has its eyes on actress Jennifer Lawrence, and so do a gazillion Hunger Games fans. That’s okay, though, because the tough young woman from Kentucky is ready to tango. At least that’s the impression I get from following her work and reading all about her in this week’s fabulous print edition of Entertainment Weekly. You can see the squeal-worthy cover, featuring Lawrence in costume as Katniss Everdeen right now. There was an actual two page fold out in the magazine. I plan to hold on to my copy!
But enough about that. What’s this below? Why, its a snippet from an MTV interview of Lawrence! Is she tough? Yes! Is she pretty? Yes! Is she funny? Oh yes! And that’s the side of Lawrence revealed in the clip, so enjoy! Just hit play.
Aren’t you reminded of Katniss and her interview with Caesar Flickerman?...

I’d like to hope that Stephen will use his newly-found Pac powers for good, or at least for good fun. Think you've escaped the wrath of hormone-mimicking chemicals just because you have somehow managed to avoid Bpa-packed products? Think again. Bpa, a compound that mimics estrogen, which is found in many plastics , isn't the only issue in plastic products. A report from Georgetown University, PlastiPure, and CertiChem (a chemical testing company) found that even Bpa-free plastics have estrogenic activity.
Researchers involved in the study bought over 450 plastic items that come into contact with food, including bags, baby bottles, and deli packaging, from major retailers like Walmart and Whole Foods. Many, but not all of the items were Bpa-free. The result:
Almost all commercially available plastic products we sampled, independent of the type of resin, product, or retail source, leached chemicals having reliably-detectable estrogenic activity (EA), including those advertised as Bpa-free. In some cases, Bpa-free products released chemicals having more EA than Bpa-containing products.
The problem is that testing couldn't reveal which chemicals are the culprit.

I opened the RopeofSilicon Contenders section in April of 2010 and all that's left on the Awards Schedule are tonight's Oscars and I am happy to say you are in for approximately six hours of non-stop commentary from not only myself, but also from RopeofSilicon resident Box-Office Oracle Laremy Legel as we will tag team this year's red carpet and ceremony with a live blog like none we've ever done before as everything you could possibly want from the show will be available right here, in one single spot.
The live blog will be posted with up-to-the-second commentary with each post having either my name in red or Laremy's name in blue. All winner announcements will be highlighted like this so they will be easy to spot as well as they'll be listed in the right-hand-column as they are announced and the...

Update: 21st Feb We've added some more features. They are appended to the end of this list.
Earlier today we posted a simple feedback form to gather some ideas from you all (If you've not yet filled out the form, please still do, we're still wanting as much feedback as possible.
We've already had over 500+ people supply feedback and we noticed a lot of recurring themes. We we're going to wait to get all the feedback before starting any changes but the demand for some of these features was so great and were things we could do fairly quickly.
We'll still be implementing more of your changes over the next few days but for now here is what has changed.
1) Mobile Domain Added
We've added a new domain to SpoilerTV called m.spoilertv.com that can be used on your Android, iPhone and iPads. You can read more about it here.

When "Glee" returns from hiatus in the high-profile post-Super Bowl slot, it's returning in a big way, covering Michael Jackson's "Thriller." On Tuesday, the cast spoke to "Access Hollywood" about remaking the iconic tune, which will reportedly be mashed up with another yet-to-be-revealed hit.
"It was a huge production. We we're shooting that until 6:30 in the morning," Cory Monteith told "Ah" at the Television Critics Association press tour. "We shot all night, and it was probably one of the most physical numbers that we've ever done. I was lifting Naya Rivera at one point in the dance. It was really active. We had the whole USC band wrapped in to this number as you can see in the photos.

Before Noah Baumbach and Jennifer Jason Leigh broke up, Baumbach wrote the lead female role in While We We'Re Young just for her. When you break up it might be a little hard to work together. Now that Leigh is out, Cate Blanchett is the one stepping in for her. What's Baumbach's story all about? "The relationship dramedy follows a free-spirited twenty-something Brooklyn couple (Franco and a yet-to-be-cast actress) who inspires a documentarian (Stiller) and his wife (Blanchett) to...

Marvel unveiled the first footage from Marvel’s upcoming film Thor today, and it was epically glorious!
The Director of the film Kenneth Branagh came out on stage with Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings, Clark Gregg and Tom Hiddleston. There wasn’t a lot of stuff revealed that we didn’t already know. This panel was all about the showing the first Thor footage, and it’s what all of us wanted to see.
The extended Comic-Con trailer was shown to us in 3D, but unfortunately the 3D aspect of the trailer wasn’t really that impressive. But the actual footage they showed was incredible! From the images I saw of the film prior to this, I had high hopes that what we saw would blow us away, and I it surly did. I was floored by how awesome the trailer we saw was.
Here’s the footage description:...

The teaser trailer for Paranormal Activity 2 was just released. The first movie freaked us out so much, and seeing this trailer just might make our hearts stop. The first Paranormal Activity was filmed on a budget of $15,000 and made close to $200 million worldwide so we're not surprised that they decided to make a sequel. This time around they have a bigger budget but that doesn't mean a lot of things are gonna change. "We we have money now, but we're staying true to the heart of the movie, to the spirit of it,...

When news came out back in 2008 that a sequel to the classic 80s movie, The Lost Boys was going to be made, mixed opinions started to form as to whether it was a good idea and whether it would be any good. It was a straight to DVD release and when I saw Lost Boys: The Tribe, it made an Ok movie but didn’t have the originality that the first movie did. We we knew that would happen didn’t we?
Dread Central have now debuted the trailer for the third installment of the Lost Boys franchise, this time called Lost Boys: The Thirst which sees 80s legend, Corey Feldman as Edgar Frog back to fight the vampire once again, this time ably assisted by his brother Alan Frog (Jamison Newlander) who we saw in the first movie.
From this new trailer, it looks like an Ok movie which...

He says, "We we supposed to go to the homecoming dance and she stood me up. Everybody wanted to get at her because she had the biggest booty in the school, so I was the man.
"Once she said yes she was going with me, I started telling everybody... but the day before she told me, 'Y'know, I'm not gonna to be able to go to homecoming with you'. I'm looking forward to seeing her."...
