Laura Dern is playing coy as to whether her Jurassic Park character, Ellie Sattler, will show up in the upcoming Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom movie.
Et's Lauren Zima caught up with the 50-year-old actress at the Los Angeles premiere of Downsizing, and noted that Jeff Goldblum had confirmed that he would be reprising his role as Malcolm in the film franchise -- so does that mean Dern may also be making a cameo?
"[It] could be fun," she teased. "I mean, I love Ellie Sattler."
Further praising her character from the 1993 movie, Dern added, "She's a tough feminist, come on! We need her back."

The Emmy winner is also expected to reprise her role as Renata Klein when HBO's Big Little Lies miniseries returns for a second season, but admits that she doesn't know for certain if her character will be coming back.

Taylor Swift is continuing to control the narrative of her Reputation-era public persona.
To accompany her British Vogue cover story and fashion shoot, the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer wrote a revealing new poem, which the U.K. outlet published in its January 2018 issue.
The prose — titled “The Trick to Holding On” — finds Swift, 27, reflecting on reinvention and growing up.
In the first stanza, she references people you remove from life over time that have caused you harm. “Let go of the words they hurl your way,” she writes, adding: “Their words will cut, but your tears will dry.

Did somebody order a buzzkill? Although The Voice’s sudden-death Playoffs are ordinarily a time of high excitement on the show, since Season 13’s were taped rather than being aired live, we wouldn’t get to vote for our favorite contestant(s) until the contenders were whittled down to the Top 12; the decisions before then would rest entirely in the hands (ears?) of the coaches. Where, I ask you, is the fun in that? At least we could be distracted from our annoyance during Monday’s Night 1 by Team Blake and Team JHud’s performances, several of which were so bad,...

Am I grading too easily? Getting ready to recap Night 2 of The Voice’s Season 13 Blind Auditions, I realized that, during Night 1, I had given out a whopping five A-minuses, which seems kinda ridiculous in retrospect. I mean, was Esera Tuaolo, for instance, really that good? Or was there just technically nothing wrong with his performance, so I couldn’t find anything to dock him for? If I don’t immediately want to throw a shoe at a singer — or at least download their cover song — were they truly A-worthy? Though Dave Crosby might disagree, I think I’m going...

Kesha just released her latest song and music video off her album Rainbow, and of course, it's already got us singing and smiling along. The hit, "Learn to Let Go," was the first song she wrote for the album, expressing a message about embracing your past but not letting it define you today. Thus, the music video to go with it takes us on a journey through some of the pop star's special childhood moments as a means of embracing that childlike innocence we tend to lose as we get older. In fact, in an essay for Huffington Post, Kesha dives deeper into that idea. "'Learn to Let Go' is more than a song title... it's become one of my mantras over the last few years," she wrote....

Wearing a gorgeous Bebe Aguirre floral two-piece and belting out fan favorite “Pocketful of Sunshine” at one of her bucket list concert venues, it wouldn’t be surprising if Natasha Bedingfield was secretly pinching herself at the Hollywood Bowl earlier this month.
Since she began pursuing her music dreams, the 35-year-old singer has performed for the Pope and former President Barack Obama, earned a Grammy nomination, toured with Justin Timberlake and New Kids on the Block and collaborated with everyone from Lifehouse and Rascal Flatts to Nick Carter and Nicki Minaj.
But the glitzy life is a world away from her childhood in the U.K., where the singer reveals her New Zealand-born parents, John and Molly, struggled to make ends meet, feeding their family on less than $6 a day and relying heavily on supermarket scraps.

Ryan Lochte‘s pregnant fiancée Kayla Rae Reid is saying her prayers — for no stretch marks!
With her baby boy due in June, the 25-year-old model let fans in on one of her daily rituals Wednesday as she applied Burt’s Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter to her bare belly on Snapchat.
“I literally apply so much of this stuff and then I let it soak in my skin,” she said — oiling up her belly while wearing only a yellow bra and black panties.
Reid labeled the video, “Praying for no stretch marks.” On an after shot, she wrote, “Oiled up.

Leo Tolstoy nailed the universal truth about family on its head in the opening sentence of Anna Karenina — “Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.” Family, in whatever shape or size, is always complicated, messy and crazy — but we wouldn’t trade our own for any other in the world (most of the time).

I never owned the Garden State soundtrack. I didn’t have to: When I first saw the feature-length debut from director-writer-star Zach Braff, I brought many of its songs with me, in the massive Case Logic CD binder stored securely in the backseat of my third-generation Ford Taurus. Swept out of the theater by the strings and loops of Frou Frou’s “Let Go,” I plopped into the driver’s seat, reached for the binder, and put The Shins’ Oh, Inverted World on the stereo. “Caring Is Creepy” whistled into the night, and I took to the suburban streets just like the film’s protagonist, Andrew “Large” Largeman (director-writer-star Zach Braff). Only I was in a Ford Taurus, not a military motorcycle with a symbolically empty sidecar. My passenger seat was occupied, by a friend who was once my girlfriend but was now a friend again. But other than that...

It somehow seemed that all of the events from This Is Us Season 1 Episode 1 fell into place perfectly to set up this beautiful series, and This Is Us Season 1 Episode 12 drove home the many decisions that were involved to make it all happen.
Rebecca and Jack suffered a terrible tragedy on what was supposed to be an extraordinary day in their lives, and thanks to the remarkable actions of others as they made their way through unfortunate circumstances, the lives of all of them were changed forever.
That didn't occur to me straight away. At first I was swept up in the love of Jack and Rebecca.
Milo Ventimiglia and Mandy Moore shined during this hour that their characters shared with children only in the womb.
Like so many pregnancy storylines, we watched Rebecca as she lashed out at the man she loved, blaming him for her predicament, for blessing...

There was a song way back called "One" made popular by the band Three Dog Night. It was a song about loneliness and talked about how even if you're surrounded by people, you could be as lonely as if you were by yourself.
There were lots of things that struck a cord with me on Lethal Weapon Season 1 Episode 10, but the thing that struck me most was that final scene with Riggs sitting on the floor at the Silent Disco.
Even though he was surrounded by people, he was still alone.
And that brings up an interesting point.
Is our social world as "social" as we think it is? We sit behind computers and talk to people via Facebook or Twitter or with other apps. We talk to our friends via text instead of talking on the phone. We can get our groceries without ever going to the store.

Deadmau5 has scored a new record this week as his collaboration with Grabbitz on “Let Go” becomes his highest charting single to date. Taken from the recently released W:/2016Album, “Let Go” served as one of the record’s best offerings and has climbed up to the number eleven spot on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic chart, a personal best for the Canadian producer.
“Let Go” has beat out previous deadmau5 offerings like “Phantoms Can’t Hang” and “Infra Turbo Pigcart Racer,” which peaked at the number sixteen and twenty spots, respectively. From December 16-22 alone, the single went on to garner 3 million streams in the Us, which is an impressive feat in its own right.

Will Fox be okay with The Exorcist's ratings? The show has gone from strength-to-strength in terms of quality over the past few weeks, but the ratings have stayed pretty low.
Hey, at least it is not performing quite as badly as Scream Queens, which really has no reason to be performing so poorly. Maybe Ryan Murphy should stick to anthology shows.
Watch The Exorcist Season 1 Episode 10 Online
Fox: The Exorcist (1.8 million/0.6 rating) held 60 percent of the demo from Hell's Kitchen (3.3 million/1.0 rating). On paper, it's not a great number, but the show is catapulting triple digits in delayed viewing.
Fox has made it clear it is not all about the live ratings, so might this horror series eke out a renewal? Stranger things have happened.
CBS: Macgyver (7.8 million/1.0 rating) and Hawaii Five-0 (9.3 million/1.1 rating) were stable with recent ratings.

Demons live on in Chicago, but Pazuzu is Rags-less.
The Exorcist Season 1 Episode 10 circled right back around to The Exorcist Season 1 Episode 1 by delivering on the promise of the intricate relationship between Father Tomas and Marcus, rescuing the Rance family and ensuring God was never out of reach.
This was all done masterfully by not only including characters from the original movie, but ensuring the laying the groundwork for what could be an interesting second season (if it's God's will).
It will be a terrible shame if there isn't a second season of The Exorcist, because this ended exactly where I wanted it two upon my first review.
It was initially hard to imagine what trajectory the series would take; if it was to focus on family first, as the showrunner believed it needed to draw in viewers and get them hooked, would it be sustainable?

I'm getting mixed signals from everyone!!
There are some pretty intense near events on Younger Season 3 Episode 10, and as a result our dear characters are experiencing a lot of different feelings, some of them life altering.
Will Josh (with the magical help of Manhattanhenge) break Liza like Diana's parrot broke her for Richard? Will more exposure work out in favor of Millennial Print?
Ok guys, I've been using Nuvaring hairbands for a couple years now, and I love 'em. Has anybody else tried them? I don't know how Nuvarings work, but I buy colored versions at Walmart from Scunci. No-Slip Grip. The clear are my favorite.
I am guessing Liza doesn't use the hairbands and the Nuvaring. That would be confusing.
It consistently surprises me that Liza can't get a good read on Josh. Is it because she really doesn't see how he's feeling or because she merely doesn't want to see it?...

It’s been a big week for deadmau5 fans. Today, the producer released his first record in two years with W:/2016Album, a solid assortment of tracks that includes the Grabbitz collaboration “Let Go” and “Snowcone.” As if that wasn’t enough to get fans revved up, deadmau5 revealed earlier in the week that a major development was on the way, leading many fans to believe a tour announcement would be arriving. Well, they were right.
In support of his new album, deadmau5 will be embarking on the aptly titled Lots Of Shows In A Row tour throughout spring next year. Kicking off in March at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom, the new tour will see the mau5 hitting a number of choice destinations across the Us, including Seattle, Chicago, Los Angeles and more.
