Uncut Gems (2019)
1/10
Not Entertaining Or Interesting
2 January 2020
Uncut Gems is a high anxiety producing movie. From the very beginning and throughout the entire movie it is constant chaos and screaming. We must have heard the F and MF words several hundred times. The plot is weak and we were looking for the movie to move forward out of chaos into some type of story but it never did. The jerky camera filming left both of us with bad headaches. I absolutely would not recommend this film for theater or home. It has no redeeming qualities and will not entertain or provide any interest for you. Simply awful.

This Movie Is Changing Lives
19 March 2018
My church bought out two theaters over the weekend to see "I Can Only Imagine" and I'm so glad they did. I'm not sure I would have seen it otherwise and my husband and I would have missed a beautiful movie. This movie will touch your soul! Bring Kleenex because everybody in the theater, men and women, were weeping. A beautiful story that is well acted. I highly highly recommend for everyone to see. Especially teens and young people. We are going to go see it again before it leaves the big screen. Dennis Quaid does his best acting in this movie.

Red Sparrow (2018)
1/10
Worst Movie of 2018
5 March 2018
My husband and I went to see Red Sparrow and it was not only a boring movie, but it is also trashy. We thought we were going to see a Russian female spy James Bond type movie but it is anything but. There are almost no actions scenes. Instead it is a poor attempt to be a dark psychological mind-game type movie. Boring, trashy, pointless. Save your money and time.

A Creepy Movie With A Strange Plot Being Touted As Artistic But Its Not
22 January 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I have been looking forward to Phantom Thread for several months and chose not to read a review because I wanted to make up my own mind on this film without another's opinion clouding my judgment. I adore Daniel Day-Lewis and think he is an incredible actor and I thought he must have picked a wonderful script if this is his last movie. I got settled in the theater's new recliner seats excited to finally see this highly anticipated film. I enjoyed looking at the clothes and 1950's London scenery but that's about all that I enjoyed. I am a mental health nurse and quickly deducted that Alma is a sociopath. She figures out Ryan's weaknesses and uses them to irritate him and manipulate him. Ryan thinks his life is cursed and had sewn "never cursed" into the lining of a Royal's wedding dress. When Alma sees these words sewn in the wedding gown her sociopathic scheming goes into overdrive. She cooks up an omelette with poisionous mushrooms and there is a tense scene....will he or will he not take a bite? Both characters are playing head games with each other and it develops into she poisons him then nurses him back to health and continues to do this Russian roulette until one day "he will be waiting for me on the other side of eternity". The head games and cat and mouse story line are uncomfortable to watch and not intriguing as the director wanted us to be. Most of the movie was dragging, so much so that I almost left but I wanted to stick it out and be fair to the film. Bottom line is this movie is meant to be strange so that is is touted as artistic but it is anything but. It is a dark draggy movie and I feel like I could have done something more productive with my time. I'm disappointed that Daniel Day Lewis choose to do this script. And one more thing....this ain't love people. No matter how you slice it these two characters do not love each other.

The Hero (I) (2017)
5/10
I'll have to up my dose of Prozac after seeing The Hero.
16 July 2017
My husband and I saw The Hero today but did not read any plot summary before we went. I was excited to look at Sam Elliott for two hours but after the first 30 minutes or so my excitement waned. This is not a movie you want to see if you are having issues with aging or if you are already depressed. There is no closure to this movie. It pulls you along thru emotional tug of wars in Sam's head but you don't get the tying of loose ends at the conclusion of the film that you need. We were just left feeling sad when the credits were rolling. The last time I saw Katherine Ross she was riding on the handlebars with Paul Newman in Butch Cassidy. I was shocked that she didn't age well and it was an extra depressing reminder of the passing of time. My husband and I are in our early 60's and we both felt like, "Oh no, is this what we have to look forward to?" This script was obviously written especially for Sam Elliott to score an Oscar nomination and I think he will get one and well deserved. Just don't go to this movie thinking it is entertaining. It is simply depression on celluloid.

Great Movie But Queasy Cam Alert
13 October 2013
Let me start off by saying that Captain Phillips is a great movie. My husband and I thought the acting was incredible and the story well written. We gave it 9 out of 10 stars. What needs to be posted online and at the movie theater is that this movie uses shaky camera techniques which can make you nauseated if you are prone to this. I got a severe headache and nauseated to the point of dry heaves due to the jerky camera technique. This is called shaky cam or queasy cam. About a third of people who see a shaky cam movie will feel nauseated. That said, I think this movie will be a heavy contender in the Oscar race. Tom Hanks will probably be nominated for Best Actor and Barkhad Abdi for Best Supporting Actor. I think the other main characters, Barkhad Abdirahman who played Bilal, Faysal Ahmed who played Najee, and Mahat M. Ali who played Elmi did a fantastic job especially since they were all new to acting. Max Martini not only played a great Seal Commander, he is very easy on the eyes. Overall, this movie was extremely good and I highly recommend. Just make sure that the shaky cam won't bother you.

He Meant Well But Kirk Cameron Didn't Deliver
4 October 2013
Warning: Spoilers
We knew this was a documentary and not a Christian movie like Fireproof. What it looks like is a long commercial for Liberty University and a well-meaning but undelivered movie about crisis in faith. At the beginning Kirk is talking with two administrators with Liberty University. The best part is next: a Vietnam Vet in a wheelchair and the father of a Navy Seal that died in Benghazi share their faith experiences. Then a guy plays a beautiful song. After that the "movie" starts and the boredom begins. I really wanted to like this movie and support this Christian film but I feel that their attempts to film it in an "edgy" style made the movie drag terribly. There were lulls in the film, such as when Eve is getting ready to eat the apple and when Cain is killing Abel. I was getting restless with boredom. I know that Kirk can do better than this and I'm sure his next project will be more developed. He meant well...it just didn't work for us.

The American (2010)
1/10
Worst Movie So Far Of 2010
5 September 2010
How I wish I could rate "The American" with negative numbers. This movie was terrible. One of the worst, if not the worst of 2010. My husband and I go to the movies once a week and consider ourselves somewhat knowledgeable about films. This movie was a poor effort by George Clooney to produce and act in a European style artsy movie. He failed miserably. About one fourth of the way thru the movie we both looked at each other and said, "Do you want to leave?" We suffered thru the entire film, hoping and waiting that something would break the monotony. Nothing happened then the film ended. Trust me when I tell you, don't waste your hard earned money on this movie! It is truly terrible. The entire movie is George Clooney brooding and staring, making a gun from auto parts and a tawdry, cheap sex scene which added nothing to the film. People were talking about how terrible it was when they were walking out of the theater. Don't even waste your money renting it on DVD. It sucks! Bigtime!

You Will Laugh Your Butt Off
26 December 2009
We were not prepared to like this movie as we normally will skip movies that are about adultery. We liked "It's Complicated". The trailers we had seen prior did not reveal the best scenes or give away the plot, thank goodness. I don't want to spoil the movie for you but there is a scene with Meryl and Steve Martin that will have you laughing your butt off out loud. The audience we were in went wild during the scene. We laughed till we cried. We are in our early 50's and it was so refreshing to see a movie about people having fun in our age bracket. Go see this movie. You won't be disappointed. Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin do a superb job as, of course, does Meryl. Another scene stealer is John Krasinski who played Harley. He stole the movie in some parts. Every enjoyable and well done movie! Gave it a nine for the wonderful laughs.

Guy Ritchie's Masterpiece-Can't Wait For The Sequel
25 December 2009
We saw "Sherlock Holmes" on Christmas Day with a packed audience. Judging by my reaction and those in the theatre, everyone LOVED it! I was on the edge of my seat during the entire fast-paced and action packed movie. Unlike other reviews, I was surprisingly able to hear and understand the quick dialogue and English humor. I don't think I missed anything. I encourage anyone reading this to go see the movie and don't wait for it to come out on DVD. It is definitely one you want to see on the big screen. I loved the music too. Couldn't wait to rush home and order the soundtrack off Amazon.com. Great movie Guy Ritchie. Well Done!

Another Predictable Romantic Comedy
18 December 2009
My husband and I just got back from seeing "Did You Hear About The Morgans" and it was a cute movie but very predictable. Hugh Grant's acting is almost painful to watch. I had read somewhere that he actually doesn't like acting and it appears that way in this film. Sarah Jessica Parker acts the same way she does in Sex And The City. She isn't much for characterization. Sam Elliott and Mary Steenberger have smaller parts but they are the best thing about this movie. Both are superb actors and don't "overact" or "overdramatize" their parts. Overall it is a cute date movie and it's worth seeing but I can't give it more than four stars. It is just another cookie cutter type romantic comedy that Hollywood is cranking out these days. You can actually predict some of the dialogue.

Lots Of California Properties Will Be For Sale After This Movie
13 November 2009
Just got back from seeing 2012 and I'm still wired up. This movie had me on the edge of my seat for the entire 2.5 hours and I had mild chest pain at the end I was so wired up. The graphics of the utter destruction of the earth is unbelievable. Don't wait to see this on DVD. See it on the big screen. I gave this movie a ten but I have to admit that the first 30 minutes were great but a bit over the top. The movie became more believable as it went on. My first thought after the first 30 minutes was "There will be a lot of California properties going up for sale soon after the movie premiers"; Very entertaining! Great job of showing what the apocalypse will be like. Go see this movie!

Ticket Holders Who Stare In Disbelief
8 November 2009
"Mr. Bean's Holiday" has always been THE worst movie that my husband and I have ever seen; the one we laugh at and make jokes about because it's so bad. It is the standard bearer for terrible movies. Not any longer! "Men Who Stare At Goats" is NOW the worst movie we've ever seen. You say to yourself, "My goodness, George Clooney, Jeff Bridges, Ewan McGregor and Kevin Spacey are in this movie.....It must be a good one!....They wouldn't pick a crummy script...especially Kevin Spacey". HA! Fooled us! Terrible attempts at humor and boring dialog; We couldn't wait for the movie to end. We almost walked out and wish now that we had. To the screenplay writer and producer....what were you thinking? To the lead actors....how could you? To those of you thinking about going to this movie....don't waste your time and money....I promise...it is terrible. I want my money and two hours back! MWSAG joins the ranks of Ishtar,Showgirls, Glitter(Mariah Carey's bomb), Swept Away(remember this Madonna fiasco?), Mr.Bean's Holiday, Gigli(Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's train wreck), You Don't Mess With The Zohan, Howard The Duck and Basic Instinct 2.........

Boring and Dark Movie; Love Happens is a disappointment
3 October 2009
Love Happens is one of the movies I've seen this year that have been disappointing and boring. You think it is a romantic comedy and it's not. I went to the movie to have a good time and did not want a "dark" movie to see. Love Happens actually left us feeling sad and out of sorts at the end of the movie. I couldn't wait for it to be over with. How sad that Jennifer Anniston accepted this script. She is cranking out too many movies lately and most are not any good. The Breakup was the only decent film she's ever done. I rated Love Happens a 3 and advise that you don't waste your time or money seeing it. Why go to a movie to feel bad?

My First Tarantino Movie And It Is A Great One
23 August 2009
Inglourious Basterds is the first Tarantino film I've ever seen and I love his style. This movie was so entertaining we saw it twice this past weekend. There will be two Golden Globe/Academy Award nominations for acting: Best Actor will be Christoph Waltz for his pure perfection in the role of Colonel Hans Landa and Diane Kruger for Best Supporting Actress for her wonderful portrayal of German actress Bridget Von Hammersmark; Diane did a great job with the German language/accent. I'm sure the movie and score will be nominated as well. I don't want to ruin the movie for you with spoilers. Just make sure you see this movie on the big screen. Don't wait to rent it. It is a big screen must. Everyone was clapping at the end of the movie. It is entertaining and I loved it. 10 stars from me.

Julie & Julia (2009)

More Julia And Less Julie Would Have Been The Perfect Recipe For This Movie
15 August 2009
I have seen Julie and Julia four times since it came out. I liked the movie a lot and gave it nine stars. The nine stars are primarily for Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci for their wonderful performances as Julia and Paul Child. I adored watching their life unfold in 1940's Paris. How I wish I could have been a young person in that era in Paris. It was wonderful to watch Julia cook and learn at the Cordon Bleu and go to the French markets to buy food. I so wish that Nora Ephron had taken Julia Child's book, "My Life In Paris" and made it into a movie. The Julie Powell portion of the movie was uncomfortable and I found myself wishing for more Julia and no Julie. Amy Adams just didn't have it as Julie Powell and her whiny character was painful to watch. One of my favorite parts of the movie is Julia with her sister at the restaurant with Paul. A treasure and a joy. I highly advise everyone to read "My Life In Paris" if you liked this movie.

We Should Have Known Better
14 February 2009
Well, what can I say? We were bored on Valentines Day and had seen just about every movie currently playing in the theaters. Confessions of a Shopaholic had just come out. Against our better judgment we went and saw this poor excuse for an entertaining movie. We should have known better. I won't get into the plot(was there one?) What surprised us were the number of well known actors who must have been desperate for a paycheck who agreed to be part of this film. Joan Cusack, John Goodman, John Lithgow, Kristen Scott Thomas, Lynn Redgrave and Julie Hagerty sold their souls to the devil to earn some cash. (I knew the economy was bad, but this?) The acting was so over the top it wasn't even funny. Too many exaggerated reactions, especially by Julie Hagerty. I found myself wanting to wrap a green scarf around my eyes so I wouldn't have to watch the slap-stick "comedy" and predictable scenes. What was the director thinking? I know I haven't written a very concise review of this film but it was horrible and its hard to write a review on a film this bad. The only things we liked in the movie were the gesturing mannequins(clever and cute) and the acting of Hugh Dancy, who was the only one in the film that showed their acting chops. Save your money and go see Slumdog Millionaire. A two instead of a one because of the mannequins and a big thumbs down. You can bet that if anyone writes a positive review of this movie they are somehow connected with it and it is in their own best interest to write positive comments because the average movie viewer, unless they are 13 years old and younger, won't like this film. P.S. Where besides New York City do women wear such a mixture of clothes at one time? I love bright color but really, who truly dresses like that?

Marley & Me (2008)
8/10
Kleenex Alert! This movie will make you cry!
26 December 2008
Marley and me is a really tender-hearted movie about a family and their dog. I'm not wild about the fact that they purchase a dog when so many animals need to be adopted from Animal Control or the local shelter. I'm afraid that many, especially young couples, will rush out and buy a white lab after seeing this movie and so many dogs need to be adopted from the local animal shelter. I hate puppy mills. That said, the movie was very emotional in many scenes and my husband and I cried(I cried pretty hard) but the movie overall was very good. I'm not sure this movie is appropriate for children under age 10. I hope this movie will lead people to animal control to adopt dogs, especially older dogs who need a home before they are euthanized. My dog Joe is 16 years old and I adopted him from Animal Control when he was 9 months old. Joe is a mix of chow and airedale and is the best companion anyone could ask for.Joe was recently the first canine at Louisiana State University to have Stem Cell Therapy on his hind legs and it worked very well on his hip dysplagia and arthritis. My husband wanted to go somewhere after the movie but I asked him to hurry and get me home so I could see Joe and hug him. I love all of my dogs but really appreciate them after seeing this movie.

A Must See On The Big Screen!
6 December 2008
My husband and I saw "Australia" last night. I am so glad we saw it on the big screen. We loved everything about this movie including the music. The first 15 minutes of the movie might be a bit slow as they are setting up the storyline but after that, WOW! You will love the storyline, the cinematography, the old Hollywood epic feel of it all. Without telling you the plot I will say that all of us, men and women were crying in certain parts and cheering/clapping in others. Don't miss this movie in the theater. It is appropriate for all age groups. Just a well made movie. Stay after the movie, during the rolling credits for the two songs. They are beautiful.

Waste of Time & Money/Not a Happy Holiday Movie and Definitely Not for Children
28 November 2008
My husband and I saw this movie Thanksgiving night. We had high hopes since Reese, Vince and a lot of other big names were in this movie. Well, we rated it a one(1) and we are being generous. It is awful. My husband said "Mistletoe" to me(you'll get it if you saw the movie, and we almost left the theater a few times during the movie but wanted to give it a chance. It is really bad. Our local paper rated it a 1 1/2 out of 5 and we should have listened. Don't waste your time and money on this holiday movie and definitely don't bring your children. It is vulgar in several places, disrespectful to Christianity and simply not funny. There isn't any chemistry between Reese and Vince. The scenes are overplayed and there is a sense of desperation to make you laugh; which you don't....like when Grandma makes her comment about pleasing her husband. Most of all, it leaves you with an uncomfortable feeling when you leave the movie, not upbeat at all. My husband and I were talking on the way home and we felt like we witnessed an embarrassing and hurtful family gathering, a dysfunctional and mean-spirited family getting together for Christmas with no resolution and no closure. You are left hanging with these uncomfortable feelings and this isn't what a good holiday movie is supposed to be about. Bottom line, save your money and time and watch a rerun of "Its A Wonderful Life" or better yet, "A Christmas Carol" but only the one starring Alistair Sim, the 1958 version.

Will Do Anything For A Laugh And Doesn't Succeed
8 June 2008
2nd worse movie I've ever seen! I don't even want to justify anything about this movie by giving it an extensive review. Lets just say it is vulgar in many places, corny with forced comedic acting to try to get you to laugh, and you will be wishing the darn thing was over about midway thru the movie. Save your money and don't go see this film. BTW, the trailer makes it look like a very funny and engaging movie. It isn't. The trailer shows you all the funny parts. One star out of ten. Wish I could rate it lower. This movie actually deserves about negative two stars. This movie is a sure winner of the Razzie award for one of the worse movies of 2008. Boring, Boring, Boring!

Entertaining Movie But Message Makes Women Look Cheap
30 May 2008
Warning: Spoilers
I have only seen two episodes of Sex And The City in my life so I went into this movie not sure if I would like it. After seeing it last night,I have given it a four but I'm torn about my rating. I want to give it a higher number but I feel that it cheapens women so I am giving it a four.

I'll start with the positives about the movie. The characters are interesting and funny. The clothes were fabulous(my husband hated them). The scenes held your interest.

Now the negatives: Women who have sex outside of marriage are cheapening themselves. Women are sleeping around and saying it's acceptable and it's not. No matter how you justify it, it is wrong. I don't like the fact that this movie actually promotes women sleeping around. Even though Kim Catrell's character was funny, she acted like a slut. In some scenes they dress like hookers. I can't relate to the money these women seem to have available. I can't afford their clothes or $525 shoes. I can't afford to hire an assistant or spend money jetting off to Mexico on a whim to help out a close friend. I can't buy a Louis Vuitton handbag for me much less for a friend/employee. I doubt I will ever have front row seats at a fashion show. It looks to me that the characters are a little shallow. It seems to take an effort for them to have true feelings for other people. I couldn't believe that Kim Catrell dumped the man who stood by her side during her illness or complained because the man bought her a ring and she couldn't buy it for herself or got mad at him because he was working and she is lying on the table naked covered in sushi. Many women would LOVE to have a man who works hard.

The movie is entertaining. But I hope that women, especially young women who watch this movie don't think that it's OK to have a lifestyle like this. Sleeping around, having a diva mentality, being impressed with material goods and labels, and not doing any community service but have lots of time to meet with the girls, hang out in bars and restaurants, and shop, is not the type of lifestyle that any young woman should be proud of. I wish a producer would come out with a movie about a woman who is independent but loving and compassionate, who is looking for a good man and won't sleep with them until marriage; who believes that education is important and giving back to society thru community service is the way to live. Who has an eye for style but will buy some nice pieces and mix them up with thrift store finds. Who is a loyal friend, but surrounds herself with women who won't compromise their values and will only date quality men; men with character, not based on looks or sex. A movie where character is more important than money. Wouldn't that be a novel idea?

Lucas and Spielberg...What Were You Thinking?
23 May 2008
Warning: Spoilers
My husband is a huge Indiana Jones fan and I love Indy movies too. We had been looking forward to seeing Crystal Skull for months now after seeing the trailers and all the hype about this movie. We went and saw it yesterday with my 25 year old nephew and all three of us were very disappointed. What were George Lucas and Steven Spielberg thinking? I think I was more disappointed in Harrison Ford for accepting this script since it was not high quality. If you decide to see this movie, lower your expectations a lot. It is not up to the excellent standards of the former Indiana Jones movies by a long shot. A few points I want to make.......

1. The characters would not have survived the three waterfalls drops and even a movie couldn't make my imagination believe it. If you notice in the last waterfall, how huge they are and how much acreage the waterfalls occupy, but the characters just happen to climb ashore the area right in front of the skull shaped rock.

2. Every time the characters are immersed in water, somehow in the next scene they are dry. Especially noted after the characters are shot out of the water "cannon" towards the end, and Karen Allen's hair isn't even wet. Mutts hair is never mussed, nor Harrison Ford's hair.

3. The scene where Ford and Allen are sinking in the sand did notlook realistic, nor did the snake that they used as a rope.

4. In the warehouse scene where the objects were moving towards the box with the Alien in it. Flashback to Poltergeist and the items moving towards the closet. Reused tactics.

5. The skull either had crumbled up tin foil or shiny/metallic gift wrap bag tissue paper crunched up and put in the plastic skull. Sometimes when they turned the skull it look so phony. People in the audience actually laughed, yes laughed at the movie when the skull appeared. Didn't anybody bother to edit this movie and look for flaws? Obviously not.

6. The romance between Ford and Allen could have been expanded a lot and Indy fans expected a lot more after waiting 19 years for them to reunite. It was so weak and the wedding scene was a let down.

My husband and I saw this movie on May 22 and again tonight May 25. The reason we went back was we couldn't believe how bad it was and since it was an Indiana Jones movie felt like we should at least go back and see if we missed something. We didn't. I was saddened because there were a lot of people there tonight since it is a work holiday tomorrow on Memorial Day, and people were actually laughing AT the film in places. Seriously, laughing at the movie, especially when the skull appeared and during the goofy, alien, skull, spaceship nonsense.

This was not a good script. I am so disappointed that Harrison Ford accepted it and that Spielberg and Lucas turned it into some silly alien movie. Huge Letdown. When we walked out of the theater my nephew and I both had a tear in our eyes for my husband. He was so looking forward to this film and my husband tried to stay positive and upbeat but we could tell he was terribly letdown. He has bought all of the Indiana Jones action figures; been collecting them for a long time. Thank God he didn't buy any of the Crystal Skull crap. And as a last note: I think its unfair that Lucas and Spielberg will make a ton of money off this movie and the toys, action figures, etc...They did not put a lot of effort into the script or the movie itself and it makes me mad that they are profiting off this poor excuse for a film. And I can see the 5th sequel now for their next money making Indy film though I won't go see one of their films again....Indiana Jones will help his son solve the grassy knoll question and they will be looking for some locked file with secrets from the Kennedy assassination.

Made of Honor (2008)
6/10
Cute Movie But Weak in Several Areas
8 May 2008
Warning: Spoilers
I am a 51 year old woman. I saw "Made Of Honor" this evening and gave it a six rating. It was a cute romantic comedy with some tender scenes in it at times. That being said I have to mention that the actors "overacted" the scenes. There was too much exaggerated dialogue and acting which made the movie seem silly. I have to agree with another comment...the male friends of the main character all seemed to have the same personality and say the same things...not enough character development there. The young woman who played the bridesmaid who didn't like the MOH really overplayed her part to the point of not being believable. The grandmother with the glow in the dark "thunder balls"; what a silly, stupid thing to add to the script and then to use the same scene several times...I didn't care for this part and it ruined the movie to be seen by younger audiences. The family of the Scottish groom...way overplayed. I think the editing was poor on this film and the director should have had the actors tone down their acting a bit and it would have gotten more laughs. This is a good date movie or a movie for married couples to go see, but overall I would wait for it to come out on DVD and rent it. Forgot to add: I can't believe I am typing this but the worse scenes had Sydney Pollack in them....he is a wonderful actor/director...had nothing to do with his acting. The dialogue in his scenes was very poor. How many times can Sydney say "Pu__y"? and how about the phone calls before wedding number 6 negotiating the prenup which included marital sex? Weak, silly dialogue. Sydney I love your acting but pick a better script next time!

I Don't Have Words To Tell You How Great This Movie Is!

My husband and I went and saw "IronMan" tonight. I really can't describe how wonderful this movie is from start to finish. Everything from the beginning credits to the entire ending credits was wonderful. I predict Academy Award nominations galore especially for Robert Downey, Jr., Jeff Bridges, and Gwyneth Paltrow. Terrence Howard did an outstanding job with his character but his role wasn't as large as the others.

I don't want to spoil the movie by telling you details of the movie. Just make sure you go see it soon and on the big screen. I wish we had IMAX here to show it on the really big screen. Just make sure you go see it. By the way, you can tell at the end, they have set this movie up for a sequel and I'm glad they did! Can't wait for the sequel. I had read that Robert Downey, Jr. was making his permanent comeback and that his problems are behind him and he proved it in this movie. He is the greatest actor of his generation...I firmly believe that. Go see this movie!
