The Princess of Wales has been taking time away from the public eye to focus on her health after she announced in March 2024 that she was undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Plenty of people around the United Kingdom — and the world — sent the princess well wishes. Now, people are reporting that Kensington Palace and the princess have sent special thank-you notes for the kind words, which hasn’t been done before.

Survival horror games have finally made a comeback in a huge manner. First was The Callisto Protocol, which launched in 2022 to mixed reviews. It was followed by the Dead Space remake, which launched to critical acclaim. Then fans got a game called Resident Evil 4 Remake, and finally, Alan Wake 2 was launched by Remedy Entertainment.
Most of these games were incredibly successful; they were no doubt serving a market that had been overlooked for a while. The above-mentioned games also gave the fans of survival horror games hope that they can now see more such games released in the near future. But some of these games also took a bunch of inspiration from games that were before them, like Alan Wake 2, which was heavily inspired by a classic horror franchise.

Last month, Kevin Smith revealed that he “lost a bet” to his frequent collaborator Jason Mewes and as a result had started writing the script for a third Jay and Silent Bob movie (following Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Jay and Silent Bob Reboot) – but while Reboot was very similar to Strike Back, this time he’s working to keep the sequel unpredictable. So we won’t be seeing Jay and Silent Bob hitting the road to stop the production of a Bluntman and Chronic movie again. This one will have a different set-up – and Smith has given an idea of what the plot will be in a new social media post! He also promised that, unlike Clerks III, this movie won’t be killing off any beloved characters.
Smith wrote, “2024 marks the 30th anniversary of my first film Clerks – which means that it’s also the 30th...

Kevin Smith has listed a Los Angeles home for $5.995 million that he first saw in 2001 when his friend Ben Affleck owned it.
The Clerks, Clerks III, Chasing Amy and Mall Rats director and his wife, Jennifer Schwalbach Smith, were invited to a Fourth of July barbecue at Affleck’s house that year. Smith told the Wall Street Journal that his wife fell in love with the 8,144-square-foot, five-bedroom Mediterranean-inspired house, calling it her “dream home.” During the barbecue, “My wife and I were admiring how beautiful the home was,” recalled Smith. “Ben was getting frustrated with the home as it is on a main road, and there were always paparazzi outside. He suggested we buy it from him at the same price he purchased it in 1998.”
The Smiths bought the house for $1.62 million in 2003 and raised their daughter Harley Quinn Smith (Cruel Summer, Jay and Silent Bob Reboot) there. They...

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, chances are you’ve heard about the numerous Silent Hill projects headed our way, including a new movie from Christophe Gans. It’s a resurrection of sorts for a long-dormant series that hasn’t had a full scale entry since 2012. Sure we had P.T. in 2014, which was a proof-of-concept demo for a Hideo Kojima directed entry titled Silent Hills, but other than that? Nothing. Outside of Silent Hill collaborations with other games, the series started to seem like it was gone for good.
Funny thing is, this wasn’t even the first time Silent Hill was considered dead. In 2004, the masterminds behind the original three games known as “Team Silent” got together and decided to take the series into an experimental new direction. Little did they know, it would be the last Silent Hill game from them, marking the end of an era.

1999’s American Pie was a sensation upon release, launching the careers–however quickly some fizzled out–of its core cast. The American Pie ensemble had several breakouts, but one who made her own impact on both the horny teen characters and wide-eyed male moviegoers was Shannon Elizabeth, who played foreign exchange student Nadia. But Elizabeth didn’t want anyone to see it at all.
Reflecting on her experience shooting American Pie, Shannon Elizabeth said Czech bombshell Nadia wasn’t nearly as fun to play as she was to watch. Yet it has nothing to do with baring it all on the world wide web (in the famous scene featured in the thorough documentary Skin: A History of Nudity in the Movies), but rather post-production problems. “When I did American Pie, they called me in to do Adr [additional dialogue recording].
