Gin is back. It’s one of the most versatile liquors behind any bar, and the diversity of gins makes tasting them all the more exciting. Plus, the best gin brands are producing top-tier bottles that match any premium bourbon or Cognac for sip-ability, and they can still be used in a very wide range of cocktails.
However, all this diversity between gins can make it an intimidating spirit to get into.

Did Monica Garcia have a master plan all along?
During the shocking season 4 finale, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City newbie was accused of running an Instagram account dedicated to trolling her ex-friend Jen Shah and other cast members. But according to Heather Gay, Monica’s deviousness runs deeper than just some nasty social media posts. During part one of the Rhoslc Season 4 reunion, she presented receipts that suggested Monica’s friendship with Jen was all part of a scheme to get cast on the Bravo reality show.
Monica worked for Jen Shah for free
Before she was part of the Rhoslc cast, Monica was a friend and assistant to the now-incarcerated Jen Shah. Host Andy Cohen asked her about the nature of their relationship.
“We were friends first, and then I was working for her, and then enemies I guess,” Monica explained, adding that her job consisted of helping Jan manage “her life,...

Peter Billingsley is sharing his thoughts on the long-standing debate over the movie Die Hard!
The Bruce Willis-starring action film has long had a debate on whether it is a Christmas movie or not, and even the director of the film has settled it.
Recently, Peter, who starred as Ralphie in the iconic Christmas movie A Christmas Story, shared his thoughts on the debate.
Keep reading to find out what he said…
“Can we have a healthy debate? Can we make the argument to you of why it’s a Christmas movie?” Peter asked Die Hard cinematographer Jan de Bont on a recent episode of his podcast, A Cinematic Christmas Journey.
Jan is a skeptic on the fact if it is a Christmas movie, but Peter held a strong argument, noting that the movie starts and ends with a Christmas song, and there are Santas everywhere.

The Arconia has seen its fair share of dead bodies. Like Jessica Fletcher's quiet coastal town of Cabot Cove on Murder, She Wrote, this beautifully historic apartment building loves to attract murder.
Ever since the first season dropped on Hulu, there seems to be a new mystery that pulls our favorite podcast trio together on Only Murders in the Building.
And just like every True Crime fan or mystery lover, we're at the edge of our seats to solve it. From romances to financial schemes, the trio uncovers all the secrets. We want in!
Though with a fourth murder in a row at the same building, it's never too early to think of how the mysteries can keep growing. Plenty of reveals and secrets have been unearthed before Only Murders In The Building Season 4, so it's time for a little refresh.
Below, we've thought of a few ideas for how to expand the mysteries.

The star of one of the most iconic Christmas films of all time has waded into one of the holiday season’s most divisive annual debates: Is Die Hard a Christmas movie?
Peter Billingsley says yes — and in the season finale episode of his A Cinematic Christmas Journey podcast, which releases Dec. 15, he does his best to convince Die Hard cinematographer Jan de Bont.
“I mean, they didn’t think Die Hard was a Christmas movie. They happened to set it then, but the filmmakers weren’t intending that,” Billingsley explains. Instead, like many classics over the decades, its meaning to fans evolved. “This movie creates its own life, is in the culture and, over time, people discover it. It’s pretty great to see how that life can move in ways that the filmmakers never intended, or even ever imagined.” (Watch an exclusive clip from the episode below.)

1670 introduced Jan Pawel as a man who grew up with only one dream: to become the most famous and respected man ever to be born in Poland. He was the richest landowner in his village, Adamczycha, until his arch-nemesis came along. Andrzej sought shelter in the village with his three daughters after his wife’s death. Within just a couple of years of his arrival, Andrzej had bought half of Adamczycha and Jan and Zofia’s shared hatred. If I’m being honest, Andrzej and Jan Pawel weren’t much different and basically wanted the same things. Jan Pawel wanted to become the richest person in Poland and marry his daughter, Aniela, to a rich magnate so he would never have to worry about both money and respect.

Set in Poland in the year 1670, Netflix’s latest offering of the same name chronicles the account of Jan Pawel, a Polish nobleman. For as long as he could remember, Jan Pawel (Bartlomiej Topa) had only one dream: to go down in history as the most famous man in Poland. Jan had three children: Stanislaw (Michal Balicki), Jakub (Michal Sikorski), and Aniela (Martyna Byczkowska). As for his wife, Zofia (Katarzyna Herman), she wasn’t someone you would call to rejuvenate your boring party. She was more like the lost soul of a dead person, endlessly tormenting a man, as Jan Pawel stated on multiple occasions. They had very little in common except their shared hatred for their neighbor, Andrzej, who owned a bigger half of their village.

If the Arconia could tell tales, it would tell ones of the murders that happen in it almost successively.
Three seasons in, Only Murders in the Building has proven that murder and podcasts can be an interesting premise for a show.

Thanks to the assistance of Jan’s resistance party, Miep was able to secure a safe location for the kids. Meanwhile, Miep found herself torn between enjoying Christmas with Tess and spending Hanukkah with the Frank family. During a party organized by Tess at her boyfriend’s place, Miep made the shocking discovery that Tess’s boyfriend was actually working for the Nazis. Miep felt compelled to take action, but Jan advised her to remain silent. Although Jan didn’t create a scene at the party, he subtly hinted to Miep that he was involved in something that would aid in resisting Nazi oppression. While Miep didn’t fully comprehend that her husband had become an active member of the resistance movement, she believed that...

Country singer and 2023 CMT Music Awards co-host Kelsea Ballerini has been praised by GLAAD for displaying “bold allyship” after featuring several fan favorite drag artists from RuPaul’s “Drag Race” franchise during her musical performance at Sunday’s ceremony.
Ballerini, who performed “If You Go Down (I’m Going Down Too),” was joined on stage by Kennedy Davenport, Olivia Lux, Jan Sport and Manila Luzon.

Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes made their debut as a couple at the CMT Awards on April 2 at the Moody Center in Austin, TX. Ballerini, who cohosted the event with fellow country singer Kane Brown, walked the red carpet hand in hand with Stokes. The pair were also snapped sharing an embrace backstage. See the pictures from their night ahead.
Speculation about Ballerini and Stokes dating started back in January when he shared a carousel of Instagram photos that included a stealth shot of her. Five days later, Stokes told TMZ that Ballerini is a "sweet girl" and confirmed they were "having a good time" together. There’s no room for transphobia in country music, according to Kelsea Ballerini. During Sunday’s CMT Awards, the show’s host took the stage to sing her hit “If You Go Down (I’m Goin’ Down Too),” joined by a crew of drag queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race. The performance comes in light of a recent uptick in anti-trans legislation across the US.
Along with Ballerini, queens Jan Sport, Olivia Lux, Manila Luzon, and Kennedy Davenport sported sky-high hair and retro dresses, as they all proclaimed the song’s playfully hell-raising chorus: “If it all blows up and we end up on the news/ If you go down, I’m goin’ down too!” As the song neared its end, Ballerini took off her guitar and strutted down the catwalk with all the queens by her side, confetti billowing into the air.

During the opening monologue at Sunday night’s CMT Music Awards, broadcast from Austin on CBS, there was a comedic bit in which Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown exchanged anniversary presents to celebrate their cohosting of the show for the third consecutive time. Brown gave Ballerini a cowboy hat, and she reciprocated by giving him a pink hat to put on in return. At least a few audience members shared a joke about the exchange: By wearing pink, would Brown be breaking Tennessee’s recently passed law that some believe would ban most drag performances in the state, if they were back home?
That was a “just kidding” response to the silliness of the hosts’ monologue. But Ballerini really went there later in the three-hour telecast, when she chose four “RuPaul’s Drag Race” queens to perform with her as she sang “If You Go Down (I’m Goin’ Down Too).” That song,...

Kelsea Ballerini made her feelings about the Tennessee drag ban known during her performance at the 2023 CMT Music Awards Sunday.
Ballerini, who also served as the night’s co-host, transported the audience backyard barbecue in the ’60s, where she was surrounded by a bevy of drag queens while belting out her hit, “If You Go Down (I’m Goin’ Down Too)”.
The group served as Ballerini’s backup dancers, while the singer sang and strummed along on a pink guitar. After throwing her long, green coat to the side, Ballerini showed off a yellow two-piece, which she strutted her stuff in while the drag queens followed behind — all dressed in their best ’60s-inspired wears.
The performance ended with a flutter of confetti that was illuminated with rainbow stage lights, which made Ballerini’s stance loud and clear.

A couple of members of a fresh generation of country music — Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson — came away as the top victors at Sunday night’s CMT Music Awards, broadcast live from Austin for the first time. But the biggest winners may have been CMT and CBS, putting the three-hour telecast on the map as a show packed with enough performance firepower that there is merit to it having transitioned from a cable platform to major broadcast network of last year.
However much the official winners may delight a core country crowd happy to see young radio and streaming favorites get rewarded, the big draw for the CBS audience was likely a series of collaborations between country stars and their pop or rock counterparts, as has been the custom for years on the rival CMA Awards. New York Congressman George Santos has been a lightning rod of controversy since his election in November 2022, as many of his claims about his education and work history have been proven to be false. Santos’ repeated lies have earned him criticism as well as parody, as actors impersonate the New York congressman on various TV shows. Santos, for his part, wasn’t happy about the impersonations, and when RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars winner Trixie Mattel attempted to poke fun at the congressman, Santos responded with shade of his own.
