Documentaries-A peak behind the curtain
by matthewrolsen-20-113479 | created - 11 Dec 2018 | updated - 4 months ago | PublicPay no attention to the man behind the curtain.......I think it has been increasingly obvious that a very few, whether by design or as a consequence of greed, overwhelmingly shape our world regardless of the needs and desires of the great majority of the world's population. The documentaries in this list are not whacky and unfounded "conspiracy theories". A few may pose some unpopular sentiment; although I only ask myself "If the distribution of wealth throughout the entire world has continually been in the hands of fewer and fewer individuals as time goes on, the very same individuals who control the multi-national corporations who sell us the goods we rely on/feed us the news and media we consume why wouldn't it be in their interests to make choices that keep them wealthy?" FYI, I'm not making any claims nor insisting that you should share my opinion. Think for yourself, familiarize yourself with every side of any issue, assess your sources, and come to your own conclusions.
I simply think the documentaries included in this list are some of the more unbiased and introspective. I'd highly suggest John Pilger, Adam Curtis(dives into the psychosocial changes throughout the decades in an interesting manner), Peter Hutchinson, Brian Springer, Laurence Olivier, Rob Reiner, Andrew Marr, Alex Gibney, and many more.
