BBC’s hit motoring entertainment show “Top Gear” is relocating from London to Bristol next year.
The move to the South West will take place in spring 2022. The show’s 33rd season will be the first to be produced solely from Bristol.
The BBC said the move would “create a number of openings for editorial and production management personnel based in the nations and regions,” in a statement.
BBC Studios Bristol is already the home to a number of the network’s best-known factual entertainment shows, including “Antiques Roadshow,” “Countryfile” and “DIY Sos.”
The Natural History Unit, which produces series such as “Blue Planet II” and “Springwatch” is also based there.
“Top Gear” fans can rest assured, however, that the Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey — which the BBC calls the show’s “spiritual home” — will still be used.
“Top Gear,” which is currently in production on its 31st season, regularly films around the U.

Strictly Come Dancing had another classic Halloween episode this weekend, but of course it was scarier for some of the celebrities than others. But who looks like they might be out of the running and who is creeping closer to that Glitter Ball trophy?
Out of the running: Kirsty Gallacher
Well, this seems particularly cruel. Kirsty had finally started to turn things around last week and was creeping up our rankings… but then her Halloween Charleston went horribly wrong with slips and mistakes and she picked up her lowest score of the series before becoming the first woman to be booted out (she joins the series' other eliminees Iwan Thomas, Anthony Ogogo, Daniel O'Donnell and Ainsley Harriott). Bad luck, Kirsty.
10. Jamelia (⬇3)
It doesn't seem quite fair to have Jamelia at the bottom of the rankings. She's far from the worst dancer in the competition and she's been improving, too, but...

Anita Rani has gushed about her "brilliant" Strictly Come Dancing experience so far.
The Countryfile host, who is competing with professional partner Gleb Savchenko, told ITV's This Morning that Gleb's looks don't distract her anymore while they are training.

Anita added that she's becoming more used to the outfits she wears on the show - compared to the jumpers and wellies on Countryfile.
"There's been a little beast inside me that Strictly has unleashed, and I'm just embracing it!" she commented. "The skimpier the better! Honestly.

Vilani also praised her dance partner's performance, saying: "I think he was amazing. It was the most terrifying but brilliant experience ever!"
"It was definitely terrifying," McGuiness added.
"This year is a really loving year," Rani continued. "We are genuinely like one big love-in - even behind the scenes!"

Michaela Strachan has said that The Great British Bake Off makes her sick and called its celebration of sweet things "obsessive and obscene".
The cake competition may be a massive hit with viewers, but that hasn't stopped the TV host from sticking the boot in.
"I don't understand why this is so popular," Strachan told Metro.
"I tried to watch it to see what the fuss was about, but I just really didn't care how the cakes turned out.
"I can understand the creativity that goes into it, but I don't understand how this can go on for weeks on end."
The 49-year-old presenter added: "We're at a time when you can't open a paper without being told about the dangers of sugar, and yet here they are making Black Forest gateaux that are a foot high.
"Do people really want to eat that stuff? It made me feel sick.

ITV has pulled The Wonder of Britain after two episodes due to disappointing ratings.
Julia Bradbury's new series celebrates "Britain's natural and man-made heritage", but attracted around 1.5 million viewers in its first two weeks when up against Silent Witness on BBC One.
The series' remaining three episodes will be screened on the channel at a later date in a different slot. It was replaced by Paul O'Grady's Animal Orphans this week.
An ITV spokeswoman told Radio Times: "ITV has taken the decision to review the scheduling of Wonder of Britain, and we will reschedule the remaining episodes in due course.
"It is a series we are proud of, and we will reintroduce it to viewers at some point in 2015."
The series is the first to be hosted by Bradbury on ITV after leaving Countryfile in 2014.

Presenter Charlotte Smith will return to front Countryfile years after she was sacked when bosses reportedly said that she "wasn't young or pretty enough".
The 49-year-old will be back on screens from September, The Guardian reports.
Smith was one of four female presenters in their 40s and 50s who were dropped by the rural current affairs show five years ago as part of a revamp.
Her fellow presenter Miriam O'Reilly took the BBC to an employment tribunal and won after she was removed from the line-up.
Michaela Strachan and Juliet Morris were also cut in the 2009 revamp.
Smith is the first in the group to take up presenting duties again alongside Matt Baker in a new Sunday evening slot.

Jls member Jb Gill has discussed his ambition to become a farmer.
The singer is appearing on BBC One's Countryfile this weekend to explore his dream profession.
In Sunday's (April 14) episode of the weekly rural affairs programme, viewers will see Gill receive advice from the show's resident farmer Adam Henson on how best to use his land.

Actor says former Countryfile presenter's successful ageism case was an 'attack on creative free expression'
The BBC should have been free to drop Miriam O'Reilly from Countryfile without attracting any accusations of age discrimination, according to comedian Rowan Atkinson, in a controversial intervention into the debate about the lack of older women on television.
The 57-year-old Blackadder, Mr Bean and Johnny English star said – in a letter to Radio 4's The Media Show – that O'Reilly's successful age discrimination case against the BBC amounted to an "attack on creative free expression" and that television was the wrong place to deal with anti-discrimination issues.
Atkinson wrote that he did not blame O'Reilly for taking legal action, but added that his argument "would be that the creative industries are completely inappropriate environments for anti-discrimination legislation and that the legal tools she used should never have been available to her".
